It was good value for what we paid, 3 minute walk to the beach, great trolly service, close to the airport..helpful staff. I would stay there again, my mom especially enjoyed her stay.

Overall I had a great time you couldn't beat the location for the money

Hotel room was filthy and unkempt. Totally disappointed and dissatisfied with room, amenities and services advertised. Will not recommend to anyone.

The room was very inexpensive, was with a kitchenette, and close to shopping and dining areas. I would've liked the windows to be covered with heavy draperies in addition to the venetian blinds. I tend to sleep later after staying up late (night person) and lacking this feature hurt my ability to get restful sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the wireless internet worked fine.

The rooms are very dirty. We were told they must have forgotten to clean the room. However, we weren't moved to another room. There is no air conditioner in the bedroom. Extremely uncomfortable being that it is Ft. Lauderdale, FL in April!!

I can't even put into words the utter disgust and anger that this experience left me with. I NEVER write reviews but this one could not be passed up. There is not enough time to explain every detail of the nasty rooms. All I will say is that I am glad I brought my own blanket and pillow and wore my flip flops in the shower. Also, I had to go to Walgreen's in the middle of the night to get Drano because the tub was so badly clogged. The second day, TWO members of the desk called me separately 5 TIMES while I was at a concert to yell at me for my poor parking job and threatened to have me towed! Keep in mind that I have a large SUV and all of the spots are tiny. I parked off center due to the fact that the car next to me had also. Needless to say, after a screaming match with the creepy skinny guy, I moved my car and told him I had never experienced such horrible customer service and disrespect. I guess he was having a bad day.

Hotel staff very friendly for the money was a nice place it's location for our event was perfect would stay there again. Of your looking for a top notch hotel look else where

The location is right across the street from the beach which awesome incase you need to run to the room for something. The room on the other hand is not so nice. The bed was all I was really going to use because I was staying there for one night but the pillows were orange with head grease when you lift the pillow case. If you just need somewhere to sleep for the night I would bring a sleeping bag and your own pillow but aside from that its ok

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place warrants it. The sad part is you can find something around same price right on the beach... The hotel is in really bad shape.

Stay was ok. Much older hotel. Hotel owners were nice enough but my room never got cleaned the first night there. Only got extra towels when i went down to the front desk because the cleaning staff had already left. Went in late march so paid spring break price but this hotel should NEVER charge more than $49 for any of the rooms they have available.

Everything was great! Was able to walk to most areas (beach, downtown Ft. Lauderdale). Enjoyed our stay.

I did not get a good sleep. You were able tohear all other guests all hours of the night. The only good thing about it was The location. It was near the beach.

Great location and cheap. Rooms were very poorly maintained, but were clean. If you are looking for a cheap place to crash, this is it. Staff was helpful and mostly friendly.I was overall happy with the money I saved. Just keep expectations low.

Friendly and helpful staff. Phone in room did not work and last day the elevator did not work.

Pretty ordinary hotel but I guess you get what you pay for. Staff were helpful and courteous. Needs some big time maintenance money spent on it.

Biggest plus for this older motel is location and price. . . car not needed. Easy walk to beaches, restaurants, marina, and water taxi. Physical condition of motel is somewhat below average (paint chipping off wall, loose toilet lid, few electrical outlets). Bed was comfortable, nights were quiet, plenty of hot water, many channels on TV. I don't go to Ft Lauderdale to sit in hotel room, so would stay again.

SECURITY WAS HORRIBLE. THE DOOR DID NOT SHUT WELL, THE LOCK WOULD NOT HOLD. THE SPRINGS ON THE CHAIRS HAD COLLAPSED SUCH THAT IF YOU SIT ON THEM YOU FELT AS IF YOU WERE GOING TO FALL THROUGH TO THE FLOOR. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. YOU COULD SEE THROUGH THE BLINDS FROM THE OUTSIDE---HENCE NO PRIVACY. WE CHANGED TO ANOTHER ROOM ON AN UPPER FLOOR. BETTER BUT NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR MOST PEOPLE. THE MANAGER WAS OVERWORKED. SHE TRIED TO STAY CALM BUT SHE GOT TESTY AT TIMES EVEN WITH THE EASIEST OF REQUESTS. SHE SAID THAT THE SPRING BREAKERS HAD DAMAGED THE HOTEL. I AGREE. THERE ARE OTHER HOTELS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FOR THE SAME MONEY THAT ARE JUST AS AFFORDABLE, BUT THEY ARE NEWER, CLEANER AND SAFER, YOU FIGURE IT OUT.

Room and bed was comfortable. Maintenance was poor and out dated

I will go again, they were very nice people and it is close to everything!

Very loud, on ground floor and shades in bathroom were continuously falling off and the one on didn't shut, anyone and everyone could see in. Microwave didn't work.

Hotel was not perfect, but they gave a Wonderful Price for a very comfortable room

Clean, cheap and a block from the beach. Outdated decor but very clean. Overall great stay for the money.

Once I open the door to my room I was taken back by the smell of mold. There was visiable water damage in the bathroom and the kitchen looked less than inviting. The poorly washed top bed sheets had stains.

It was extremely close to the beach and very conveniently located to downtown, restaurants, shopping.

Hotel room was a little larger than expected as it had a separate kitchen area. It had ac as well as a ceiling fan, which was enough. No ice machine and all the soda machines were out of stock. no stores within walking distance, so i highly recommend you get whatever you are going to need from store before you get there. The hotel works with a shuttle company which picked us upmandnon time for our cruise. It was $18 for two people.

It's a cheap hotel. Furniture needs to be upgraded. You cannot expect more from it. The guy at the desk was quite helpful and nice.

great price and location- needs upgarde on facade ,clean ( builidng built 1930s) room,convient,all items working,kichen,ref,microwave,counter top (dated)-good.upgrades needed and would be excellent.change front door and hardware(not inviting)but it is secure-lacks appeal-too old.

This doesn't look like a hotel, it's more like a very deteriorated studio apartment. The window blinds wouldn't shut, so we didn't have any privacy at all and had to change in the bathroom. The fridge door was broken, there was a very old sofa that took up all the space and in order to close our room we had to slam the door since it was jammed all the time. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, then this is not a good choice. The only great thing about this hotel is the location, it's only a 5 min walk to the beach.

The room was clean and it had a good location. Otherwise it wasnt very good. Mattress was old and awful. Tv did not have any channels. No phone. Bathroom had wet caulk all over the tub/tile area. It was pretty gross looking. But it had a fridge and it worked. Very close to the beach and in a nice neighborhood.

You cant beat it for the price..... Its an old building but right on the beach literaly you cross the street and boom sand lol..... The service is great and may i say i recommend #311 very comfortable....... Now that being said if your looking for 5stars or luxury this is not the place for u but if you want a nice hideaway on the beach close to everything where u can be sure to relax and be treated very well this is the place i reccomend ive stayed their a few times and always have a good stay.

It was the worst experience ever!! This is not a hotel it's a 3rd category motel! It's not Save, people smoking weed, the elevator doesn't work, the tv didn't work properly, bad customer service. I don't recommend this motel... If u book it will be at ur own risk!!!!! I couldn't sleep all night and I paid for two nights, and took off after the first one!!! The beach? Where is it?..

The AC was lousy in the afternoon room was way to hot took hours for it to get the room even remotely cool enough to tolerate it, Very poor WIFI, Had to ask front desk for towels and they didn't believe there were none in the room took 2 hours to get more towels after asking for them. Nobody at front desk from 1 am till 8 am. One of the worst places I have stayed for service. Only good thing is the location near the beach, that is all this place has going for it. Overall I would not choose to stay there again. Was very unhappy with the comfort of the room.

good place to just sleep and maybe enjoy the pool in the evening. all the poor review people need to realie that the price here is half that of all nearby hotels, so they shouldn't be comparing to the sheraton or the marriot, etc...

You pretty much get what you pay for with this hotel. The entire hotel is in need of updating, the furniture is old. Everything was clean, hot water. No bugs, or loud guests, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the beach and walking distance to local bars/restaurants! If you plan on spending most of your time out on the beach and away from the room, this place is perfect for you. My boyfriend and I were just looking for a place to sleep and shower that was conveniently located to the beach.

Pros: Walking distance to the beach, inexpensive. Cons: Run-down motel with extremely uncomfortable bed and no working TV. Bathroom was dilapidated and furniture was old and falling apart.
