Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff...would stay again!

Great hotel and location. Near both the mountains and the wine country. Only drawback was too many rude kids (and parents) in the pool. Suggest hotel have a rule no one under 18 in the pool or pool area after 8:PM.

The Holiday Inn was conveniently located off of 66W. The check in process was very quick and we were able to check in an hour ahead of the scheduled check in time. The hotel staff was friendly. There is also a Houlihans restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient. Food was good, service was just OK but could have been luck of the draw with the server. If you are in town to play golf, the Holiday Inn is right next to a beautiful golf course with another one up the road. Also nearby, there is a great place to go horseback riding. Our room faced the south and we had a wonderful view of the Shenandoah Mountains. It took us about 15-20 minutes to drive to Skyline Drive if you are also interested in visiting the most scenic road in the Mid-Atlantic. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to be peaceful!!!!

Based on others' feedback, we booked a single night's stay at this Holiday Inn. Everything was as it should be - easy check-in and a clean and quiet room. No hesitation in returning should we ever be in the vicinity again!

very nice except breakfast was costly in restaurant

All in all a good stay at the hotel, but the hotel advertised a indoor pool, which is the reason I chose it. The pool was closed and being re-filled two days after my stay, the hotel could have adjusted their advertisement to include the pool was not operational at the time. Kinda feel like it was false advertisement being that is what I was staying at the hotel for was a indoor pool.

I loved the room and the front desk staff and Houlihans server was excellent. I will definitely consider staying there in the future.

It was perfect for our romantic getaway.

Clean, friendly, had resturant attatched. Easy to use wheelchair to get to resturand and car. Good access to shower with handicap grab bar. We used our own portable shower chair.

The restaurant is first class, and the hotel accommodations were stylish and clean.

The hotel was new and nice. It was clean and the staff wasfriendly and efficient. The restaurant, Holligans, had a lively sports bar atmosphere and the food was good. The rate was reasonable for the area. My GPS that I just bought this spring did not have the address loaded, and I had to call for a nearby address.

Couldnt check in til 7pm due to previous nites events never had that to happen. Not too happy bout that

We arrived late in the evening and only stayed one night, so we didn't experience the hotel all that much. But we did have the pool and hot tub to ourselves for about half an hour and the room, though near the elevator, was perfectly quiet and very clean. The bathroom was also clean and roomy. We had a partial view of the golf course, which was nice to see as the morning fog rolled away.

The Holiday Inn & Suites at Front Royal was a wonderful place to relax after Motorcyling the Skyline Drive all day. The Inn is exceptionally clean, the staff very friendly and the suite was just the rightsize for three separate beds. The beer specials at the connected resturant (Holihans) was a bonus as was the delicious food (Excellent Fish Tacos). After riding all day, it was easy to spend the evening right there, at the Inn, have a drink and dinner without having to get back on the motorcycles.

Hotel is relatively new and great! The only downside is that it's located a few miles outside of town, so there's almost now where nearby that's walkable other than the restaurant in the hotel and a gas station. Great hotel for a night's stay though!

Very nice hotel

This is how all hotels should be ,clean ,fresh,great place to stay.

My first room had broken ac and no hot water. Asked to move and had a room with the bathroom lights were out. Went back to desk and was handed light bulbs. I did did not know that I was going to be doing maintaince on my room. Funny I paid them not the other way around. Very slow front desk clerks. What 20 minutes to check in. Hotel restaurant was good, food was nice and staff too.

A great hotel choice. I was only there for one night but it was one of the best hotels I stayed in on my trip. Clean comfortable room. Nice pool and workout facilities. Adjacent to a golf coarse.

It was all right. I only spent time in the room to sleep.

You will find place to eat and shop. Do not miss Luray caverns. New nice hotel. The most comfortable beds, pillows. Pool as usual is too small and therefore not usable for adults. The A/C is not to be mistaken for a truck. Trucks are much quieter. In fact, out of all hotels I've ever staid, this was the loudest. It is also positioned to blow right onto the bed. There is no other decent place to stay in the area, so this is not a bad choice.

The rooms were large, the lobby was impeccable, and the view was amazing!!! We were fortunate enough to be able to watch a thunderstorm coming in from the mountains and it was one of the most amazing sights to experience. The food at Houlihans was moderate at best and a bit overpriced but we certainly have had worse. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, I would stay here again in a minute!!

Haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in a few years but this was a terrific stay! Will stay at this hotel next trip as well. Beautiful vistas and staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Most comfortable beds and room out of the 4 different hotels we stayed in on our vacation. The room was spacious and the breakfast through Houlihan's restaurant was out of this world! Thank you!

I found it somewhat disconcerting that while I qualified for either an AARP or American Legion Veteran discount, I received neither.While you advertise these allowances, you don't advertise that these allowances are contingent on time of booking. As someone who was in the business world for over 20 years, I never advertised what I was willing to deliever with condition.I think this issue is worth some consideration going forward.

Threadbare towels, poor service in restaurant, uninviting lobby, disgusting pool, poor materials in room, very dated look...no reason for any of this.

The pool was very nice a little cold, but it also has a hot tub to warm you up.

the hotel, staff and room to include comfort of bed and cleanliness of bath where as expected... if not a notch better. thank you for your friendly and accomodating service during our stay. the ajoining restaurant however was not as accomodating nor was the food or service what we expected. after two attempts, we chose to dine at other local establishments. Joe's was awsome and the manager Frank made us feel welcome and appreciated for our choice in dining at his restaurant.
