excellent!!!! was worth every cent! wish i could've stayed longer! staff was extremely hospitable! the hotel is BEaUTIFUL!!!!! it was the best choice of resort!

This hotel was more than I had expected. This hotel is located really away from everything else so if you like to go around for other restaurants or shopping this wouldn't be the right choice for you. But if you like to spend a few days away from stress and everything this is a great oportunity. Located at a private calm bay with jungle around. The hotel staff is really friendly and is helping you as much as possible to make your stay just enjoyable. We had a lotus pool villa which we can highly recommend to everyone. Lot's of privacy with private pool and outdoor bathtub. Against the hotel description we could reach the free wifi signal which is available around the lobby and poolarea. If your maybe too far from the lobby there is no free wifi.

Perfect! The location, accommodation and most of all staff made our wedding & honeymoon that extra bit special. Thank you! I highly recommend Bundarika for anyone looking to escape the busy part of Phuket and just want to relax and take it easy. There are also some nice restaurants further down Layan beach so you never need to travel far (try out Lotus!).

A very secluded hotel, with an own beach. However, with the tide, the waterfront is only close to the hotel early mornings and very late evening. During the day, the nearby beaches are about a 20-30 min walk away. The hotel seems to be not well maintained as our terrace hot tub seemed dirty upon arrival and took forever to fill up (we stopped trying after 1 hr with the tub quarter of the way full). Also, there were no easy ways to get to the local markets, so dining and all other services have to be done at the resort.Though, ants and gecos inside the room made us feel very near to the mother nature...

The place is beautiful and the staff is amazingly friendly (like most places in Thailand) and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to lay on the beach or swim. If you are about nightlife, it's not for you. To get to and from most places is at least 1500-2000 B round trip. This is a beautiful resort. Aside from the location, which may have been our fault for not researching enough, the only problem we had was a lack of consistent hot water. Another recommendation: Don't go in the rainy season. 4 days there only yielded one sunny day and to boot, there was a day when the storm flooded the hotel and much of the area was without power. During this time, the staff was awesome and very apologetic, despite the fact that they had no control over the weather. Go here if you like to chill or if you rent a car, or spend a night or two here in between more bustling places.

This hotel is good if you only plan for staying in a silent and enjoying nature. it's so far from the town (approximate 1.15hr for each way) and if you missed the hotel shuttle you may stock there or should pay 2x (~1000bht) for tacking taxi from hotel. There is no special facility inside of hotel but you can enjoy the private beach.

This hotel is nice, but a bit soul-less. Its not possible to swim at the beach but they have a nice pool. We stayed in a pool villa which was really nice, but also a little sterile with no lights outside, no pillows in the chairs and so on.. But all in all the hotel is good and we recommend it to someone who wants a few relaxing days away from the hectic Phuket and Patong Beach.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights towards the end of my 6 night stay at Phuket because it was nearer to the airport compared to my previous hotel. Service wise, this would be the best service I have experienced in all my travels. The only drawback about this resort would be its location. Its really isolated towards the northwest of Phuket, and if you are going into the hotel for the first time, the only way is through car-hire or taxi which can be very expensive. But for those couples looked for a "city noise" free experience at Phuket, this is the hotel you should be looking for. They provide morning shuttle service into Phuket town in the morning and into Patong beach in the evening. I booked for the Jacuzzi Suite, and was very pleased with the spaciousness of the room, but was sorely disappointed with the Jacuzzi. While the main water flow for the Jacuzzi worked, the pump didn't work at all. And when I tried to drain the water, it couldn't drain at all. A call for the service person didn't work at all, as all he could offer was to press a button to drain the water, which didn't work in the first place. Another issue I had was the shower and toilet screen doors. I think they got the screen pasted on the wrong side of the door, as i could see the person inside the shower/toilet while the person inside couldn't see anything! I hope the maintenance staff at Bundarika something about this! Breakfast was free as it was part of the package that I booked. No complains here. Wide array of food, and very tastefully done. The nearby layan beach which is just a short walking distance is very beautiful with clear blue water provided you go at the right time which is around in the afternoon. All in all, if you want isolation from the city and peace during your stay , you wont regret staying here. I must add that you might see some geckos(lizards) in your room, but they aren't harmful at all unless you get grossed out by lizards. These are just part and parcel of living in th

The staff, the views, and the service make this a once in a life time stay. The cost makes this place a must stay. Stayed on our honeymoon and we felt very close to staff only after 5 days. Sweet people and owner is great. Can't recommend enough. Have a free shuttle to Phuket town and Patong beach. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but you will be glad after 1 or 2 trips to Patong's Bangla Road. The cove is luxurious and very private.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my girlfriend. But everyday had to travel for hours as it's at least 40 minutes from town, 40 minutes from main beach, 40 minutes from pier where catch boats to other islands so to and frow way too much time in transport. It's not 15 minutes from the airport. It's was 35 minutes. While this doesn't seem like a big deal. It is when you are short on time and have already been on a plane and the speed boats for hours etc. Jacuzzi was great. Nice place if you just want to stay at resort and not leave and see anything else.

We had a nice few days at Bundarika; the hotel has great potential- the location is nice- very secluded on a nice beach. The rooms are excellent and the food in the resort is good quality at a reasonable price. The resort however needs a bit of organisation and TLC; there are loads of staff but they seem to lack clear direction, and everywhere just needs a bit more maintenance- from the beach with litter washed in from the sea to our room which despite reporting to reception twice was without hot water for 24 hours. After speaking to the manager we felt confident that these issues are being addressed, and we would definitely return.

What a great hotel. The rooms were amazing and the own pool which it had a blessing. The hotel itself is located in a rather abandonned area, but that was exactly what we were looking for. If you like to get out and buy something, you can use the hotel bikes to a store nearby (about 20 min.). The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to Phuket Town and Patong. The staff was sooooo friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The facility offered a library, internet room, a nice beach (takes a while until you're in deep water though), a small pool, a great bar and two excellent restaurants. Breakfast was good as well as all the other meals. If you're planning you're honeymoon, this is definately a hotel you want to consider!

This is the best hotel for me ever. IF you want tranquility and away from the hustle and bustle of a city. This is the place to do it. Recommended for honeymooners. They have a shuttle that will take you to Patong Beach if you want some action! Highly recommended especially the Rooms with your own private swimming pool.

Their website shows how beautiful the rooms were but they failed to indicate that theirs is out in the woods. They need more workers to maintain the big resort. Not much choices on their ala carte menu, breakfast buffet is lousy. Beach surroundings were dirty. Spa have only 1 ac room and 2 therapist. and taxis can reach 800-1000b if you do not try to haggle, worse hotel car service charges the same.. Our room were not made up again after we had 4 simultaneous treatments in the room even if we made a request to do so..the manager sent a fruit platter but without any utensils to compensate for it. I wouldnt go back even if its free unless there is improvement in their resort..

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights and loved every moment of it! The villas are located away from the maddening crowds of Patong beach and grant you the opportunity of a private beach away from the crazy crowds. We stayed in the Lotus pool villa and it's perfect for a young couple with it's own private pool and ambience. Even though it is a bit far from the city, the hotel has complimentary shuttles to Patong and Phuket city. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful in arranging any day excursions you would like as well! We will definately come back to stay here whenever we are in Phuket

My wife and I loved our stay at Bundarika Resort. We found the staff to be courteous and at tentative at all times. The food in the restaurant was world class and very affordable. Our beach side villa was private and very clean. The only criticism I could offer was the resort appeared to lack a little long term maintenance, painting etc. However this by no way impacted on our stay. The daily courtesy bus to Phuket town and Patong Beach was a big benefit. We will certainly considering staying back at Bundarika when we next visit Phuket.

Hi, great service and nice modern hotel. It feels a bit out of the way but if it's a secluded location is what your looking for that, then this is perfect. It did feel a bit odd but the beach was lovely and the staff very helpful.

Wonderful resort! Arrived and was greeted and given a welcome drink while paperwork was being sorted and given an upgrade without asking. Staff explained how everything worked and went through all the facilities including spa, gym and yoga classes and then showed us to our private villa, which was out of this world! Completely private pool and decking area. At first couldnt open the doors fully, but this was quickly fixed and a free bucket of sparkling wine was left for us for the 'inconvenience'. The room was clean, and just as the pictures show. Enjoyed the food at both restaurants, one of which is up the hill overlooking the resort (we were taken by buggy to it)We made use of the pool. Also accessed the private beach which was very quiet and peaceful. Sun loungers and available and we sat back in the evening drinking the yummy cocktails watching the sunset! I've never met such friendly, approachable staff and felt they wanted to make us feel welcome and looked after at all times! Anything you need can be arranged, we asked for a motorbike which was ready in 10 minutes, and fairly easily found our way around the local area and went to a waterfall and gibbon park. Upon leaving, the staff arranged a taxi for us and carried all our bags and everyone came out to wave us off wishing us a safe journey when we left! For us, staying at Bundarika was exactly what we were looking for, a few days of relaxation and complete chilling out. There were families with children also so it caters for everyone. If you're after nightlife, this may not be the place for you as it is very relaxed, but I would recommend this resort again and again and would definitely go back again. Thank you to all the staff.

l hotel n est pas du tout a la hauteur d un cinq etoile nourriture inqualifiable par sa grande mediocrite doleances non acceptees par le personnel pas de navette pour l aeroport les taxis sont hors de prix un aller retour pour bangtao plage 800 bath et rien de possible a pied a vraiment deconseiller le prix n est pas justifie nous sommes" pris en otage"...

Det er et dejligt hotel, der ligger i meget rolige omgivelser i en lille bugt. Det er et super hotel, når man gerne vil have fred og ro og bare nyde solen og stranden.

très mauvaise situation pour couples de jeunes sans moyen de locomotion car arnaque totale sur les prix des taxis vip uniquement(sauf un trajet aller retour gratuit pour phuket town en bus de ville...!!! Lavabos des chambres fait d'un type de pierre jaune lisse laissant des taches indéllébiles étranges, hésitant à l'utiliser. Petit déjeuner compris bon et cadre agréable. Jacuzzi privé à nettoyer une fois avant utilisation! En résumé un 5 étoiles qui vaut 2 étoiles en France. Une plage sur un lagon découvert matin et soir avec marées, des épaves de bateau de pecheurs et maisons abandonnées, cause stunami,des arbres couchées ou à moitié arrachés, des petites déchéteries un peu partout autour, des camps d'anciens pecheurs ressemblant à des bidonvilles!!!!

非常に静かでプライベート感があるホテルです。 プールから海までも近く、ホテル前方に広がる海の 景色は必見です。 しかしながら、場所が空港からは近いですが、 パトンやカタ方面に遠く、セントラルワールドや プレミアムアウトレットなどからも遠い為、ホテル以外 あまり何処にも行かず、ぼーーっとしたい人に お勧めです。 朝食のバリエーションが少ないのが難点ですね。

One of the best private villas I have ever stayed athough I have travelled all around the world and stayed at many kinds of different places. Location - very isolated so can go nowhere without taxi. Far from Patong and Phuket town so do not recommend to those who expect to go out for sight seeing actively. Do strongly recoomend to those in need of peaceful and relaxing vacation along, with family or partner. Staff - Polite and sincere, good command of English. Room - clean and big!! White is base color, which give the impression of cleanliness. My room had jacuzzie on the balcony, which was also amazingly big. Facilities - has not been mentioned anywhere, but they has infinity pool! The size is not that big, but enough size for swimming. Spa is on the hill so the view is quite good. Prices are resonable but technique is sure. They also has the basic machines in the gym that is kept clean and orgnized. Restaurants - 2 restaurants but one of them closed every Weds. Tried one of them which is open even on Wed, and found foods is good but bit expensive. No other place we can have food without taking the taxi around the villa. Overall - paradise for those who need relaxing and peaceful time, escaping from the hectic pace of city living.

Un cadre agréable, une plage privée ... mais reste un hôtel très isolé à mon gout, éloigné de toutes commodités, et surtout difficile à trouver, on a pas mal galéré !. Conviendrait plutôt à des couples qui cherchent le calme

Superb hotel with excellent service and perfect food. We got a free upgrade to a pool suite, which had a nice pool a great bathtub and all nice things to live for :-) It has a great private beach, and great view from both restaurants. The only con we had, was it was a bit far from phuket town, but the hotel offers free shuttle service daily.

Bundarika is a beautiful place, if you are lookig for quiet place. Rooms are nice and hotel personel is very polite and helpful. There are some language problems but with a little patient everything is organized very nicely. Spa is excellent. Breakfast is ok, the normal buffee set. Beach is fonderful with kids but not very good for 'serious' swimming because of lowtides. Shuttlebus service works very well and there are always taxis around if you want to experience more noise eg. at Patong. We didn't have any problems with jaguzzi and hot water. It's not 5 star but 4 or 4,5. We liked it a lot.

Hotel magnifique,personnel attentionné mais très loin de tout. Plage déserte moyenne, pas de couleur turquoise!!!! Heureusement, navette grte pr Phuket Town (11h30 retour 16h) et Patong Beach (19h-retour 22h) sinon,pas de taxi à proximité donc obligation de réserver par hotel à des prix excessifs vélo à disposition grtuitement mais courage avecla chaleur!!! SPA: environnement/personnel très bien, mais prix élevés... heureusement, promo 1Get, 1 Free pdt que j'y étais! piscine sympa à débordement, plage à marais basse pas très attractive Calme,repos garantie loin de l'agitation de Phuket Il faut ne pas avoir peur de louer un scooter pr la durée du séjour pr être libre de circuler et profiter de cet hotel magnifique. Chambre avec jacuzzi en terrasse/Vue sur la baie. sinon, maison individuelle avec piscine privée sur plage (attention, chemin de passage des autres résidents juste devant!!)ou sur arrière ou lagune petit déj très fourni

Ett hotell bestående av många småhus som är bra om man vill ha det lugnt och skönt. Det ligger avsides och det krävs att man tar en taxi eller liknande för att ta sig dit/därifrån. Restaurangen är sådär och betydligt dyrare än vanliga restauranger i Thailand. Hade den varit bättre hade hotellet varit kanon. Frukosten var ok utan att gränsa. Stranden var folktom och rätt bra. Tidvattnet gör så att vattendjupet utanför stranden varierar från midjedjupt till noll. Vid lågvatten blir man tvungen att vada ut minst 100m innan det blir djupt. Men då är den fina poolen ett bra alternativ. Vi bokade först 3 nätter och sedan 4 nätter till eftersom vi tyckte att det var bra. Rummet var fräscht och rymligt och den egna poolen som hörde till var perfekt. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Gissningsvis var 1/3 av hotellets rum/hus uthyrda när vi var där.

Bundarika Villa & Suites Phuket är ett mycket trendigt designhotell som ligger helt avskilt från shopping och övriga grannar. Priser på mat och dryck på hotellet är tämligen höga, men man har inget val eftersom det inte finns några andra ställen att välja på. Beachen vid hotellet är långgrund och lerig. Cirka en km fågelvägen (landvägen betydligt längre) från hotellet finns en bra beach med affärer m.m. Många detaljer i inredningen är opraktiska, men fina att se på. Ett riktigt DESIGNHOTELL.

Le bundarika est un petit coin de paradis. C'est un vaste hotel situé au calme (à 40 miniutes de la folle ville de Patong). Le service est très sympa, les plats sont excellents, et les smoothies sont délicieux ! Les chambres sont agréables. Le point négatif : les massages y sont trop chères (80euros/h)

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet und ausgerüstet. Die Lage des Hotels ist leider unglücklich gelegen. Obwohl es direkt am Meer liegt, kann man am hoteleigenen Strand leider nicht wirklich schwimmen, aufgrund untiefe. Es gibt keine Verbindungen zum nächsten Strand und die hoteleigenen Transporte sind unverhältnismässig teuer. Das gleiche gilt für den Flughafentransport.
