It was great. Only thing to change if you check in late such tell customers you have to call a number to check in.

Very nice apt style condo. A little tricky to get in but once youre there..an awesome experience. Yes ill be staying here again.

The unit was clean and spacious. We appreciate the place being pet friendly. You would never know there has been pets there before us. The village atmosphere was great. This is a nice area to spend a vacation.

I love this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Very nice!

The place had a musty damp moldy odor that did not go away....there are supplied linens and soaps etc but they are of the very lowest quality and quite nasty. The location is very good and local amenities are just fine but the place itsel disappoints added to which parking is far from easy.

Everything was find except for the cold showers. After two showers the water turned cold. This was a surprise for such an exclusive area as Market Commons.

The suite was wonderful - everything very clean except the carpet needed shampooing. Location was great! Next time I would like to reserve a suite that has a balcony.

Renting Someone's condo. Minimal amenities. No cleanup, linen change, or towel change. Must do it in your own suite with available washer dryer.

Loved the area. Simply beautiful and safe. I would definitely stay again. One downer was the personnel. There is no sense of calling the front desk. They simply let the phone ring ring ring and ring. While they are actually in the office. I watched from the parking lot, OH one more thing bring extra soap.

I will ot stay anywhere else this place had it all. Had a great stay. Was not ready to go.

Overall it was a pretty good stay. There were 2 couples my boyfriend and I and our favorite couple. We stayed at the kensington. Great location when you walked outside there were plenty of places to shop including a Victoria's secret across the street, shooz, and other upscale shopping stores. There was also a grocery store (piggly wiggly) in walking distance in case you wanted to buy groceries. A play ground for the kids, plenty of restaurants also a movie theater. We arrived late so we had to call the emergency desk where they gave us the lobby code and room code to get in and I had to go check in early the next morning. The only downfall was there were 2 twin size beds in the second room which was probably meant for kids and the second bathroom was around the corner from the bedroom. Being 2 adults they said the twin size beds were uncomfortable but there was a pull out on the couch. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable to me. Other than that we its a great place to stay if you do not particularly want to stay on the beach and by booking through hotels.com we got it for half price. If you actually go on the market commons website you will pay double.

I am the pickest of travelers, and looked at a million hotels for a weekend getaway. I finally settled on this one, so glad i did! We had a fantastic stay. We had the one bedroom suite, the rate was great this time a year! The room was super clean. We had a cd player, dvd player, 2 tvs, and a king comfy bed in its own bedroom. One lightbuld was out in a lamp, and that was the only issue we had. They sent maintenance up to fix it. Also, the room had everything you would need, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, full kitchen - fully stocked, washer and dryer. The suites are right over the shops and restaurants, so convienient. We only left the area one time, and stayed on sight the rest. The staff was friendly. Despite the reviews, check in was very simple. The room codes worked fine - no issues. We will definately be back in the spring.

We loved the location. Located in Market Commons - where there are several delicious restaurants and plenty of shopping. However, our flight arrived in the evening - and it was extremely difficult to check in and find the location as they are time share units and not a hotel which was not indicated on the reservation site. We called several times and kept the operator kept telling us that someone would get back to us and they did not. We drove around for approximately an hour trying to figure out the hotel's location. We were about to call another holtel and book a room and we finally saw a security guard walking around and he has a list with our name on it a a code for the door. The room itself is great space especially if you are travelling with kids. But the bathroom had mold in the shower and their wa not enough towels. The bed linens could be replaced also and no maid service.

This is a great place to stay, if you are not in need of beach front. Most of these units are privately owned, and then rented out by a "management" company. They are all nicely located above the shopping area, and you just take an elevator down to the street. The shopping is great, with a number of stores you will not find anywhere else, shopping includes a grocery store, and a movie theater-all within an easy walk. This is the kind of place I would not mind living in permantly. The only downside is that you have to find the vacation rentals storefront BEFORE you find the locaton of your unit. They will give you a map, which you will need.

I been to myrtle beach before but never stayed here. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. Very clean, secure, peaceful and modern. Great location near everything..only 5 min from ocean blvd! I will def stay again..across from huge beautiful lake with grandma swings and ducks and geese. Loved it!,:)

The area, while not directly on the beach, was just a quick drive and very convenient for shopping and relaxing. It is actually a condo facing a lake with sunset views. Once we figured out where to check in(separate "beach vacations" building) it was all good from there on out. Would recommend the Ashley building!

The place turned out to be better than I imagined with lots of space and so relaxing! Easy night checkin. Room was clean and had a great view.

I don't know any other place where you can get a one-bedroom hotel room with a full kitchen for so cheap. The place was spacious and comfortable. Its great if you have kids because there is a sofa sleeper, then the parents can sleep in the bedroom for privacy. Theres a full size fridge, stove, oven, dishes, and a wash/dryer in the room! You don't have to worry about anything. If you are staying in the Myrtle Beach area for a long time, this is the place to stay! It is located in the middle of shops and restaurants and a movie theater. We will definitely be staying there again...as long as it doesn't get too pricey.

We enjoyed being close to restaurants and shopping and relatively close to the beach. The space of a condo, having a washer and dryer in the unit, and outdoor space for playing and browsing were much more important to our family than being right on the beach. We'll stay here again as a family or on an adults only getaway. (There's also a large, very pretty, green area right across the road from this 'hotel.")

Overall I was pleased with my room; I don't mind washing the towels & sheets, but the detergent should be included in the room!

We had an enjoyable time. We had a one year and there was not anything age appropriate.

I always felt suspicious about hotel reviews being bogus...so I was skeptical about making the reservations for The Suites of Market Commons, but this place was absolutely fabulous! Just as nice as the pics suggested, and the area is amazing, there's so much to do...a park, live music, shopping, movies under the stars...will we stay again....YES WE WILL!

Well for the most part everything was ok,with the exception of the televison size. With the digital tv age being alive and prevalant-flat screens were expected. The size of them were smaller than you would expect in a room that size. Bring your own soap because the soap they provide was bare minimal. It's like they cut every corner possible to make their costs stay low. However it sacrifices the guests' stay. My linen had what appeared to be blood drips on it. Honestly you could not tell that we were over fancy restaurants and expensive department stores with the no name brand soap, dishwashing powder. I was disappointed & I over looked review such as this in disbelief but I found out the hard way.

Late check in was a disaster. Not good customer service from after hours security guard. Building was hard to locate & security kept trying to direct us over the phone at 2am in the morning instead of coming out to assist us. When I told her I couldn't find where she was directing me, she finally came out & then apologized because the building wasn't where she was directing us too. After traveling so far & so late she should have did that in thhe beginning. My family was tired & she delayed our process of checking in. Parking wasn't convenient either. Their process of checking in wasn't secure because the operator gave me the security codes over the phone without identifying if I was the correct person to speak with.

Clean, Quiet, Convenient, Reasonable Price. What else needs to be said. A great place to stay.

Great location!!! Restaurants, food store, shopping all in walking distance. Nice, upscale location with great restaurants. Not far from all the MB attractions. Friday night music at the Commons was very nice to listen from our balcony. The rooms were big and clean. The only minor complaints are that the furniture is starting to look a little worn and paint needs to be touched up in small spots. Also, they should provide dish soap to wash the dishes.

Perfect location and awesome concept. New/upscale area, multiple venues, so an overall plus on convenience. Would like developer to do a better job maintaining rental units. I would stay there again if all carpets were removed, if bedding/presentaion is improved. Shag carpet had an ordor, was filthy and seemingly full of germs. We always bring our own bedding and cleaning products to sanitize; but had to do more work than expected. Given the stains, we could tell that bedding is not being changed between occupants. If developer replaces carpet with wood flooring or ceramic tile, I would be willing to recommend to friends/family. Otherwise, I think It's a real shame to waste the space. Very disappointed.

we loved our suite! it was so nice!!! much better then a hotel room.it was clean,you had quite while your resting and its close to a piggly wiggly!! we had the best time! will definitely stay again.

The location of the condo was great and the many shops and restaurants that are located within walikng distance of the condo was so convenient. The beach is one mile from the condo and attractions. I have booked mytrip for next summer.

Wow! With a family of 5, we had plenty of room. We had the 2 bedroom condo with a Den. Washer/Dryer, Full Kitchen, and a beautiful deck overlooking the Market was amazing! Everything is there within walking distance food, movies, shopping, and a 2 parks, and a grocery store. Malls, Beach, Boardwalk, Amusements 5/10 mins away. We will definitely stay here everytime we come to Myrtle Beach. Lots of free things to do on site, free outdoor movie and free kids movie @the theater. Everything was very clean and friendly service, even got to check in early! Best vacation, must stay here!!

Room and furnishings were gorgeous. Spacious rooms overlooking shops below. Made our hotel stay on the way home seem awful. Quiet, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

First, the room was clean and nice but it was not what I expected. This is more like an apartment versus a hotel room. I like the convenience of someone cleaning everyday and providing fresh towels and the like. I don't want to have to wash my own towels and clean, heck I'm on vacation. Then we had a problem with our car while on vacation, the day we were supposed to leave and the hotel was not accommodating at all. They basically thew us out on the streets with no transportation. Thankfully, we were able to get our car fixed and get back on the road for home.

The stay was very pleasant. Would like to have a swimming pool in complex.

The condo was very nice and if you are looking to stay in an area with shopping and restaurants it fits the bill.The beach was far and I was expecting a hotel type of service which is not what you get.I could not believe that you had to provide additional toilet paper!

This place was amazing! We never made it to the beach as we had so much more to do at Broadway at the Beach! That place was a hit with the kids and shopping for Mom and Dad! The Suites was really nice with comfortable contemporary furniture! The kids were in aw! We had dinner at GB (Gordon Biercsh) - dinner was delightful. We will definitely stay here again the next time hotels.com offers another cool deal at this place!

We enjoyed walking around in the commons and taking in the sights during the early evening. The location very convenient for going to the beach. Our room was not as nice as the prices would indicate. I had a missing outlet cover in the bedroom, a door knob hanging off in the bathroom, a slow drain in the tub, a dirty red sofa and a ragged chair that should have been replaced long ago. There was a bag of soiled lenin and/or garbage next to the elevator for 2 days while we were there. After checking out, I stopped by the rental office to make sure I was all clear to leave, I showed the manager some pictures that I had taken of the maintenance issues. Instead of simply apologizing and owning the problem, she gave me a snide remark, "we don't know it is damaged if you don't tell us". Well, I should not have to call and report maintenance short falls to a place that is suppose to be so upscale. Some one should make sure the place is in perfect condition between each rental. I did not stay to argue with her about such utter nonsense, however, I think she needs to learn more about customer service and service recovery. I am USAF veteran and have never been treated like that on an Air Force base before....

The rooms themselves were great. They were large, clean and very comfortable. However, check-in was disappointing. We had to wait until 4:45 PM before our room was available. Fortunately the Market Commons area is a great place to spend some time. We also could not believe that HD was not provided for viewing on the TVs. Based on the price you pay for the suite, one would think that the owners would at least provide HD cable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but not sure we would stay there again.

The stay was great. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. It was very quiet. Did not even know we had neighbors on the floor with us. Everything was conveniently located. Great having a supermarket right around the corner. The kids had a blast. Will be returning to this location again.

The only gripe i would have about this hotel is the place where you check in is not easily visable. GPS had us in the right area but, the actual office was in front of the Piggy Wiggly. GPS keep saying address was in the parking deck but, anyways the place was beautiful, the room was almost like an apartment or condo. Place was very clean and on top of market commons which had everything you would need from clothing, resturants, and movie theater, etc. No swiming pool, and you have to wash your own towels, the room had a washer and dryer so that was ok. And no room service which was ok. I guess if this hotel had maid service these rooms would easily go up in price maybe.This place wasnt too far from the beach only about 5 min drive down farrow parkway. Overall I would say this was an excellent place to stay.
