Best place we've stayed in by far. We needed a late check out due to a schedule conflict between my husband's and mine and they had no problems at all accommodating. VERY friendly staff, every one of them. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. If ever we need to stay in the area again, and I'm sure we will, this will be the place. We will highly recommend to everyone.

So comfortable! This was exactly what I was hoping for after a long drive and a long day of work. The hotel was quiet, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

Our stay was very nice and one of the best hotel experience we have had in years. Friendly. clean and breakfast was great..

Our stay at this hotel was great and exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect weekend stay. My children enjoyed it and were very thankful for the time they had there. My husband was happy, and that makes for a happy mommy! The staff was polite, happy, inviting, relaxed, etc. and not only with us but with each other. They spoke to each other in respectful tones and looked after each other. The building was kept neat and clean and well maintenanced. I could go on. We loved it, recommend it, and would do it again !!! :)

This was our first stay at a Homewood Suites. We were very pleased with our choice.The staff were friendly and helpful. We even got an upgrade of the room as at the time the hotel was not fully booked. The breakfasts choices in the morning were excellent, a good start to the day. It is a close drive to all the attractions in the Portland area. I would highly recommend this Hilton hotel.

I generally like Homewood Suites, and this one was great! A little further from Portland than I expected, but still in a very convenient location. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, was that the kitchen could have been equipped a bit better (and is at other Homewood locations I've stayed at). While checking in, I had a guest come down and ask for a colander, which is usually in the room, but the hotel did not have one on the entire premises for them. My own room had barely any glassware in the big cabinets, and I was hoping they would have wine glasses for dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised I certainly will stay in a home wood suites again and it will be the first hotel I will look for

Very nice hotel. Clean and well maintained. Close to airport. Most of the staff was courteous, friendly, and professional. Shuttle van driver VERY lazy and rude. Would not get out of van at airport or hotel to help with bags. Sat behind steering wheel and would not move. Graveyard desk person (male) very unprofessional and sloppy looking.

good, other than the maid knocking on our door wondering when we were leaving, and breakfast was horrible

I liked the hotel, but the staff were not very friendly. Maid service forgot us the first day and wanted to blame privacy please sign, but we took the sign down by 10AM. When we returned from sightseeing and told the front desk that our room had not been cleaned they said that housekeeping had left for the day. The location was great and room was fine, but we will try something else next time.

We were surprised at the value for money. Fantastic. Excellent services and home cooked meals were great. Close to beaches and sights

Clean, clean, clean hotel. Check in and check out were super fast. Complementary breakfast was great, plenty of choices and very convenient. Location is good, less than 10 minutes from Portland and not far from great beaches and beautiful lighthouses. Nothing to complain about.

Hotel in great location, close to many things and tourist-y areas. Hotel served breakfast everyday, it was decent, some of the food you could tell was frozen. They also served dinner which was also okay, only because I didn't have to cook or go out and buy anything. Wasn't the best, but like I said, okay. Overall stay was great, would highly recommend.

Great place, quiet, excellent breakfast, heated pool, near restaurants groceries and mall. The only miss was the number of table outside with the BBQ, just one table.

Most convenient location, near everything. I found the room very comfortable and inviting. It was only one night but if it had been longer I would have enjoyed every minute. The breakfast could have been better but was not too bad. When I go back to the area, I will stay there again.

Nice hotel with breakfast included. The room had a small kitchen with a dishwasher and refrigerator.

We travel extensively and this is one of the best values and overall hotel experiences we have had. We usually stay only at 5 star hotels so I was a little apprehensive when booking. So glad that I went ahead. Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Cleanliness of grounds, room and public areas were top notch. Breakfast was better than most, even chain restaurants that I have been forced to endure at times. They also offer free dinner Mon -Thurs that we did not have a chance to try but based on the supplied menu would be greatly appreciated by any traveler for the convenience and added value.

I got a room for the weekend so my girlfriend and I could have a nice getaway romantic weekend away. We enjoyed my overall stay here but there were a few things that I didn't like about it. We stayed in a room where the sink's garbage disposal didn't work so when we ran the dishwasher the sink backed up and was really nasty. We called the front desk to ask for extra towels for our room and we had to call back a half hour later because they didn't bring any the first time we called. Other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay and felt very clean and comfortable.

My family (kids aged 3, 9, and 11, hubby and I) stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the Portland area. We chose this hotel over all others mainly because of the fact that there is a stovetop and fridge in the room, giving the opportunity to prepare meals. With three kids and a tight budget, going out for meals was not really an option. The kitchen in the room was great! Just enough for us to prepare some light, easy meals. As for the rest of the room, we had a king-sized bed, a fold out couch, and requested a roll-away cot for my son. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were awesome. The shower was HUGE, and everything was spotless! The Neutrogena products were much appreciated! Only 2 slightly negative things I would have to say. The first was the temperature fluctuations in the room. If we turned the thermostat down it was like the air conditioner was on. If we turned it up, it was blowing heat. We had to keep adjusting and readjusting....who knows, could have been user error! The second thing was breakfast. I was slightly disappointed in the offerings. The first day we were there, they had mini omelets with cheese, bacon and potatoes, along with all the othere standard fare--bagels, cereal, oatmeal. Not too bad, but hard to keep hot. The next day was breakfast sandwiches and tater tots, which were awful. My son, however, loved the cheerios and went back for 3 bowls. We will definitely go back to this hotel if we decide to do another trip to portland. Next time though we will probably just make breakfast in the room.

We recently visited Maine for a weekend of rest and relaxation and this hotel certainly fit the bill. Nice clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and great pool facility. We would recommend Homewood Suites anytime!

My husband and I stayed for a week ar HS in Portland ME and it was really the most pleasant, clean and accomodating motel stay we have experienced. What was especially nice were the complamentary breakfast and dinners provided to guests. We had a difficult time with connecting flight out of Philly so by the time we checked in we were both worn out and hungry.To our delight, dinner was just down the hall, and suddenly our vacation took a turn for the better. Thank you!

We stated here for two nights toward the end of our honeymoon. It was great to have access to the pool and hot tub which were open whenever we wanted to go. The suite was furnished with a full refridgerator, cooktop and microwave which was great because we could save the cost of eating out. A full breakfast was served daily and apparently during the week dinner was also available. The bed was comfortable and there were a variety of pillow types to suit any need. It was convenient to shopping and dining. Restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as a pizza place within 50 yds.

Everything was wonderful. Tfront desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The accomodations made us feel like we were right at home. The free breakfasts and suppers were truly wonderful. The diningroom staff who prep the meals were the nicest people ever. So welcoming, so warm and friendly. In particular I would like to say how much we enjoyed Joyce's warm and friendly personality- what a gem! The Homewood Suites better not lose her!!! We'll see you all next year for sure. Thanks for a great holiday!

What a great hotel! A great bargain for the price. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for one night on our way through and I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect for shopping and the room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying here again.

very nice hotel, great location. Appreciated the free breakfast. We found the hottub too hot! Otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Great stay, Nice place to take the family for a getaway - pool was wonderful, free breakfast and dinner on week nights, very resonable priced - clean & comfortable rooms. great location for shopping & activities - would most definitely stay again & recommend to others.
