Great stay, comfy beds and rooms. Breakfast delicious, many choices. Would stay here again.

Our stay was very comfortable and satisfying. The chairs in the breakfast room need to be cleaned or replaced as they are soiled. Other than that, a pleasant stay for the four of us.

We stayed the night here on a trip to visit our daughter, who lives in nearby New Paltz for her birthday and to allow our younger daughter, who begins school there in September at SUNY New Paltz to visit the campus. This was a really VERY nice hotel, the room was very big, the bed very comfortable and the surrounding area very nice. Given we will be coming back to the area , now to visit both of our daughters, we will definitely be staying here again.

The stay was very good and met my expectations. I would definitely stay there again!

Closest, best price for a quality hotel to Vassar College. Non-smoking room had a deodorized cigarette smoke smell. No hot water in public buffet area at night.

This hotel is a little outdated, but is clean and the staff is helpful. Front desk personnel helped us change rooms to a more convenient location for my elderly mother. Breakfast was predictable, but again, staff very helpful. Convenient to mall and places to eat as well as 95 (though GPS has you turn the wrong way off of 95).

The neighborhood is really nothing special, but the staff is very friendly and the rooms have an okay size - we had a king and a double queen, rooms about the same size. Very nice walk-in showers, great beds.

Very friendly staff and quiet area, though not the most charming neighborhood. Rooms are a good size, comfort of beds is really great. Breakfast somewhat above average.

Very clean and breakfast had lots of variety

The pool was freezing. The hot tub was room temperature. There are never any clean towels. This place is fine. Just don't come if you are looking forward to a swimming in a pool.

The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was clean and well maintained, staff was friendly and knowledgable. Will likely stay there on our next ovenight visit.

The hotel was great. We only had one issue where the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate. It was cold out but we went into our car while the Fire Department checked everything out. The hotel was very clean and convenient to all restaurants and malls. It was perfect for the price we paid.

We stayed for a 2 night stay w 4 kids and my sister w cancer it was a disaster. Sat. there was an extremely large group of people who came for 2 kids bday's-there were 25+ children that came into the pool area-the pool is a public area for paying customers but none of the children were being supervised, by the parents-The max.occup. of the whirlpool is 4- they had 18 people in it- the water was overflowing- They removed the life saving equipment from the walls and were playing w it in the pool. We had to leave the pool area because it wasn't safe. Multiple complaints to the front desk-nothing was done. Someone was smoking in the restrooms and set off the fire alarms and everyone had to evacuate, we were standing outside w no jackets/blankets in 10 degree weather. Delivery people were coming in and out delivering food with no one stopping them. The front desk told us to stay in the lobby and then when the fire company came they told us we had to get out. We were then able to come back in, because we asked not because someone told us it was clear, and then the alarms went off again. There was no one in charge and people were all over the place. I would like to give kudos to Kyle at the front desk - he was by himself until a manager came to help him and he did the absolute best he was capable of doing given the circumstances-this could have been deadly had there been an actual fire-this could have been avoided had someone enforced the rules in the pool area.

Hotel is ok, but the carpeting in the room was very stained and worn. Also, the bed was pretty beaten up---I did sleep ok, but defintely in need of a new bed in the room. Service was friendly and polite and location is great for a visit to IBM.

Very comfortable stay. Close to all our family and convenient to stores and restaurants. Stay here often and will go again.

the only problem we had beside a noisy crowd of young people at 1:30 in the morning, was it took a very long time to have any hot water.The young man at the front desk took care of the crowd by calling the police. (good for him)

The hotel was perfect location to all amenities. The staff were always friendly and helpful from front desk to cleaning staff. Both of our rooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast had something for everyone. The fitness room was well equipped and open appropriate hours to workout in the morning. We'll be back next year. Thanks

Outstanding, with one exception: Climate control. Room temp difficult to manage. Blower made a lot of noise. We did not sleep well as a result.

We were so happy to arrive & unload our bags and jump in the whirlpool! which was hot! (although towels supply low to zero & took at least 15 minutes and 2x requesting). I was told that our rooms wd have view of mountains but faced the highway side of the hotel--which had trees but not as picturesque. We were pleased to rest in our rooms as-is so didn't try to move our rooms. The next morning after a lovely breakfast (love the homemade waffles, nice touch!) we were thinking of one more round in the whirlpool but it never got past a luke warm temp, even after running the jets for 30 minutes--we were told that maintenance could check it out in an hour (after our scheduled check-out time...) the kids had a blast splashing in the pool so we didn't make a big deal out of this disappointment. (again towels request had to be made 2X b4 they brought them). The automatic energy saver heater made alot of noise in both rooms--so if you had it on through the night it went on and off periodically noisy. the beds were so comfortable - linens fresh & soft--pillows fluffy--extremely cozy! ( there were plenty of snacks located downstairs near the lobby, of course a mini bag of chips cost $2--) tried to order room service to get a couple of beers but there is no alcohol at all served--in fact no room service for food/ bevs--only the buffet breakfast) Overall a good choice & would definitely stay there again & recommend it to others.

I stay in many hotels for business travel, and generally stay in the hotel that is closest to my eventual destination. I was very happy that the Hampton was the closest for the event, as I have yet to find a Hampton that has let me down.

We stayed at a suite. It's very spacious and clean. My young kids love it since they have lots of space to play. The bed is very soft and comfortable with nice bedding. The hotel has fantastic hot breakfast with lots of nutritious choice (even soy milk for kids allergic to cow milk!). The facility has been well-maintained and the staff is very courteous. There is a heated pool and whirlpool which is very clean and great for relaxing. Everything in this hotel satisfies our needs. We will stay again if we visit this area next time.

There are no microvawe and refrigerator in rooms and if we want them they charge extra.Its very inconvinient not to have any of this normal items,.You cant have even cold drink and you have to go out to get cold drinks.Every other hotels keeps thisin the room.

Excellent overall! Check in could have been more personable. All other staff was excellent. HIghly recommended.

The front desk people were nice. Smelled like chlorine in lobby. Elevator 1 scary! Room was large and very clean. King sized bed. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. No room service!!! Thought we would order in so we could just chill. very disappointed. will never stay there again.

I was VERY disappointed when the fire alarm went off at around 6 AM and we had to exit the building (my child and elderly mom)! No one told us what was going on until local Fire Marshall and trucks showed up. It was determined someone had burned toast in the kitchen, which is located right next to the lobby! It was very low class and ridiculous. I don't understand why the staff did not talk to us as we left the building or post a sign as to what was happening. They seem very unconcerned about us as guest and no apologies were ever made.

The heating/AC unit was so noisy I turned it off when I went to bed. All other aspects of the room and hotel were fine.
