Diplomat Inn - מפלי הניאגרה

I checked in with my boyfriend a friend and her boyfriend we are 25 years old and hardly party people before we could even get our bags out of the car we were hounded by the manager for having parties and being loud, we told the women we weren't there for those reason she continued to freak out and threaten us she then followed us to the room and yelled at us some more it got to the point where we left and found a new hotel. I have never been treated that way in my life and I would never go back to that hotel lesson learned for trying to save a couple dollars next time I will book a hotel that knows how to treat people not a dirty motel with horrible employees

Its a little old style hotel with minimum facilities. Bed cover should be clean.Front desk management is curtious and gentle. In context with rent it is affordable.

staff were quite friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and very affordable. We would definately stay there again.

Hotel was great for what we paid but the beds were uncomfortable. But I would probably stay there again.

This is a old Inn, but it is very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast but Tim Hortons is just down the road and they offer complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. The water was hot for a shower in the morning and the rooms have been recently painted and are well maintained. The ceilings are thin so book a top floor room if possible. They use keys instead of cards for the doors which we liked. The T.V.s are old and there was a old fridge in our room which we unplugged for the night. A bonus is the parking is free where other hotels in Niagara charge up to $20.00 a night. There is also an outdoor pool which I was told is very popular in the summer. We will certainly return to this inn the next time we are in Niagara.

This hotel was great. Room was very clean. No smoke smell in evidence almost anywhere in the hotel. Excellent location and great value. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the Niagara region. We also loved that it was really close to the tiny and cozy greasy spoon diner just a block north. We could just walk there for breakfast. (There are two breakfast places nearby - we like the smaller one.)

Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean but very outdated. Linens were quite worn. Updating linens and decor would go a long way to upgrading the ratings. A short walk to the WEGO bus system which takes you to many Niagara Falls points of interest.

The manager was very helpful in pointing out sights to see and places to eat, etc. He even gave us a large room just inside the door with the ramp in order to accommodate my daughter's walker. We recommended the motel to friends who were staying elsewhere and they seemed interested. We would stay there again, if visiting that area. The room had a fridge.

The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Hotel is showing it`s age. Amenities sparce, coffee in room would be nice.

The room was clean and front desk staff were so kind and helping nature, we had a peaceful stay at night, microwave is missing and no elevator for 2,3 floor, no coffee ? No breakfast options in hotel.. other wise it is ok

Manager Mr. Angelo was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Only problem was that, there was no control of air cooler, so room became very chilled. It was only 10 minutes walking to falls.

Hotel was a lil dated but very clean. Staff was very friendly. We had no complaints what so ever about this hotel. Was within 10mins walk from both hotels and Clifton hill. Would not hesitate to book here again the next time we need a hotel at the Falls.

Very attentive staff. Rooms are dark and dismal, but very quiet and clean. Air conditioning is loud and outdated. Hotel is a good value for the money, considering the other properties in the area.

Management was very pleasant and quite helpful. The room was better than expected, clean, comfortable. We were very happy to be at the Diplomat Inn while Nik Wallenda was doing his walk over the Falls. Casinos and restaurants are close by. My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying Maid of the Mist, Edgewaters Restaurant, walking through the park area. Unforgettable day in history.

We wound up at the Ramada inn.The Diplomat was arrived at late and we could'nt get in.Hotels .com moved us to the Ramada.Great stay super people.Great rooms and would stay again.Glad we got moved and Hotels.com was great.What a class act they are.

The hotel is well placed within easy walking distance of the falls, shopping and just plain walking. The front desk person was super friendly and helpful and offered suggestions of things to do and coupons for discounts. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and restaurants were within a100 yards to two blocks. I didn't see an elevator so this might be an issue for some people but there are ground floor rooms so maybe not.

The Diplomat Inn is a nice, clean hotel, 10 minutes walk from the Falls. A good room for its price, and amazing for its location, with very pleasant service. I would gladly stay there again.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night this place is really not that bad. The location was great, only a short walk from the falls and other attractions. We ran into one small problem when we went to return our key to the main office there was no drop box and no one there, the door was locked.

I'd go there again.

Pro: close to the fall, relatively cheap, although it is not a place for couple's romantic time, but it is a choice if you lack choices. Con: no refrigerator..

The staff at the Diplomat were extremely helpful and friendly. Everything at the hotel was clean and well kept up. The diplomat is a a great place to stay if you are looking for a place that is budget friendly and clean.

Hotel was So So. I didn't like the smell in the room. They also said iron will be provided, but nothing was provided. No Elevators either. I would prefer another hotel for this cost, It's ok hotel if you can't find another place.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Although there was a problem with our AC due to a power outage on the street, they fixed everything as soon as possible. The rooms were very clean. Seems to be a family operated hotel wich would explain why they seemed to care so much about us being comfortable and enjoying our stay. I would definitely go back.

Close to attractions, but with koacroach traps under the sink, warn-out furniture, no night guard. Good WYFI

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would book with them again .

After reading the reviews of this hotel, I decided it would be fine for a quick stop over solution. We weren't looking for luxury. Just a place to rest our heads after a super late flight in before we continued on our journey in the morning. This hotel was disgusting. The room smelled so badly of smoke we were all gagging (my daughter threw up). My 11 year old was afraid to walk into the bathroom without shoes on (he is NOT one of those picky children either). If you don't mind a roach motel, stay here. But if I could do it again, I'd pay the extra $20 and stay anywhere else. HORRIFIC. On a positive note, the front desk lady was very nice.

The Diplomat was chosen for the low price, but I couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Entire motel was extremely clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone!

The manager was very very helpful. If you are on a budget then it is okay. Otherwise, the refrigerator was falling apart, the beds were not comfortable.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot, based on the amount I was paying, but I was completely thrilled. Location was great. Walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go. The staff was amazing, and couln't be more helpful or friendly. I highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for a modern, trendy, with-it kind of motel, this is not for you. It is a little older, a little tired, but well-loved and cared for. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, and it's within walking distance to the sites. We needed an inexpensive, clean room just to stop for the night, on our way home. This place was inexpensive, in a very expensive town, and filled the bill.

I have stayed at this facility on a couple of occasions and always found the staff to bo freindly and helpful. The hotel is a nice waklk from Clifton Hill, The Skylon and both Casinos. Therooms are clean,comfortable, and affordable.
