The hotel was better than two stars would suggest. It is conveniently located to walk in 10 minutes to Sagrada Familia and 5 minutes to metro station. The reception staff were very helpful. Free WiFi is available throughout. Breakfast was good and extremely busy. Food was quickly replenished by staff as necessary. The room was clean and comfortable with no external noise. Good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The hotel is in a convenient location near 3 different metro stops, and 5 mins walk from the Sagrada Familia. The room was very clean, but a little on the small side. It also had no fridge and the air-con didn't work very well. However it was cheap, and you get what you pay for I guess!

The shower was very small and not so clean. The bed was hard.

This hotel is nothing to write home about but if you just want somewhere to put your head down for the night it will fit the bill. Clean, with helpful staff. Location not flash but didn't feel unsafe and wasn't noisy when we were there. Handy to sagrada familia (we walked there in about 15 minutes. By the way, we spawned the queue the first day and went back at 9 a.m. the next - got straight in and no crowds to fight).

Front desk staff helped us figure out tours, locations. They were very considerate letting us keep our car parked for the rest of the day although we checked out in the morning also we had breakfast (nice selection of breads, pastries, coold cuts, cheese, awesome expresso and juices) and they did not charge our kids ( 5 and 8, whom only eat half a toast and drunk juice) but they did it without us asking or them knowing how much my kids ate. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heart bit!

Very satisfied! Multilingual front-desk personnel were always courteous and helpful. Room was basic but clean and comfortable; room cleaning service was sometimes delayed until afternoon, but that was never a problem. Convenient location for walking to several Gaudi locations (Sagrada Familia, the Pedrera, Caso Battlo) and the wonderful CIty Park; a bit further to La Rambla but still certainly walkable. Lots of nice cafes nearby. Rates were quite affordable and competitive. Optional buffet breakfast at the hotel was reasonable in cost. Overall, a very favorable experience for us.

We booked 2 triple rooms for 6 unrelated women and were pleasantly surprised when we found 4 beds in one room and 3 in the other-even in separate rooms-so these are ideal for groups or families. Air con was good and the beds were solid, so no complaints from us!!!!!

The hotel was in a very good location,couple of stops on the metro.The room was a good size and very clean,same as the roomy bathroom.Breakfast was help yourself with meats,cheese,breads and cereals.The reception staff were very helpfull and polite.This hotel is great value and I would stay here again.

The location was perfect for us, as it was quiet, but within walking distance to the touristy areas. Also within walking distance to metro/train stops. I found wifi not to be as reliable in our room, and breakfast, which was included in our room rate was dismal. A few yogurts, fruit salad, 2 types of cereal, although the milk for the cereal was hot which makes no sense, a few different types of breads and juice.

Amazing value for money. We had 2 triple rooms. Each one had its own seperate single bedroom with door! The hotel was renovated about 3 years ago.The facilities are basic (ie no coffee making facilites if thats important to you) but in every other aspect the hotel is impossible to fault. The rooms are Immaculately clean with comfortable beds, room sizes are good and the bathrooms (which usually are the worst part of a 2 star) were well equipped to a very good standard with a selection of white towels as good as you would find in a 3 or 4 star. Plus they have their own car park which is chargeable but invaluable in Barcelona. They will probably put the rates up after this :-)....hope not cause we will be back!

Acta Antibes is a very good hotel. It has a very competent 24 hr reception with a high english speaking capability, and a very good internet service. Nothing seems to be too difficult for them to sort out in a very friendly manner. It is within walking distance of most of central Barcelona's attractions.

THE BATH TUB IS SMALL I AM A BIG PERSON WHO NEEDS A BIG TUB NOT A SMALL ONE OTHER THAN THE TUB THE HOTEL IS GREAT

We would stay here again - the room was clean and big enough. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke English. There was a nice breakfast every morning - much better than many we've found in Spain. The location was very good in some respects - four blocks from the La Sagrada Familia, and about the same from the Monumental Bull Ring (not much use now since they have banned bull fights in Barcelona). Lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Very safe to walk at night. There is a Metro stop two blocks away. In order to travel to the city center and the Rambla, we had to transfer to a second subway line. This required with a long walk in the subway station to make the change. We enjoyed our stay and were made to feel welcome by the staff, I recommend this hotel.

The main advantage of this hotel is that it is quite close to Monumental metro station (only a couple of minutes walk away) and a supermarket just a few doors down. It is also one metro station away from La Sagrada Familia, a must-see sight in Barcelona. It is also fairly close to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya (a taxi ride from La Rambla to the hotel is about 5 to 7 euros) by car. Our main concerns with the hotel is that the drainage system is quite poor, where you might experience puddling in the shower or bathtub while showering. Despite its proximity to places, Calle Diputacio, where the hotel is, is fairly unknown to cab drivers so be prepared for your cab driver to face so difficulties locating the hotel.

friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel close to monumental station

Excellent location - close to La Sagrada Familia (6 blocks), subway and bus routes close by as well as good neighborhood eateries. This is a very good "value" hotel. English speaking front desk and very helpful with transportation options. I wish the soap was larger than a postage stamp, but other than that a good deal!

Good for people who do not demand luxury and amenities. Clean, small, simple rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Good home-base for exploring Barcelona and the surrounding area without breaking the budget.

The Antibes Hotel is in a great location, 4 block walk to the famous Sagrada Familia church and right by the Metro. The rooms are smallish but beds were great and free wireless Internet much appreciated. Take your own soap, their's is so small it disappears with one shower. Breakfast is included and was great. Kind of hard to find a local family style restaurant but they're out there. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything from the staff to the conditions of the rooms was more than up to par for a 2-star hotel. The staff was helpful though nowhere near as friendly as we found in other hotels throughout Spain. The hotel is a couple blocks form the Monumental Metro stop - if you are planning to use the Metro (which I recommend as it was inexpensive and easy to figure out), this is a big plus. I've stayed in generally better hotels at a lower cost, but since the hotels in Barcelona seem to be so expensive, I think this was a good deal overall. I would recommend it to anyone travelling on a budget. I also preferred our location to staying on a hotel on the noisy, busy Ramblas.

Thourghly enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful.

rummet var jättebra, det låg jättenära bus nord, och också jättenära till platsen där formel 1 bussarna utgick från, det enda är väl att kuddarna inte var sköna, frukosten provade jag inte då jag tyckte 9 euro var i dyraste laget, men billigt och bra boende, helt klart bra !

Bra läge med ej alltför störande trafik. Enkla och små dubbelrum. Dock lyhört men det störde inte mig, hade förstående tysta rumsgrannar. Renligt, städningen sköttes mycket bra. Bra service från receptionen. Jag rekomenderar detta hotel till de som vill bo prisvärt men inte har för höga krav på rumsstandarden men vill framförallt att det ska vara rent.

Hotelli sijaitsi hyvien kulkuyhteyksien lähellä, parin korttelin päässä lähin metropysäkki. La Ramblalle noin puolen tunnin kävelymatka. Ympäristö rauhallinen. Hotellihuone (2 hlö) oli perushyvä, ei mitään ylimääräisiä mukavuuksia. Todella siisti. Palvelu oli sujuvaa ja asiallista.

Buena ubicacion y servicio. A escasos 10 min andando de Sagrada Familia. Lo unico malo son las camas un poco duras y la almohada tan blanda que dolia cuello posteriormente

Hôtel dans un quartier calme et pas loin du centre ville. Métro à 5 minutes. Personnel très sympathique petit déjeuner copieux et jusqu'à 10h30. Chambres propres mais assez mal isolées on entend un peu les voisins !

Ligger nära tunnelbana, ca.13min promenad till Sagrada. Trevlig personal, rummet var helt OK. Man får vad man betala för. Det finns många små restauranger i närheten. Bland annat en kinesisk restaurang som ligger på diputacion 403. Jättegod mat, billigt också. Man hittar ingen sådan äkta kinesisk mat i Stockholm! Vi var där o åt o åt när vi var i Barcelona. Rekommenderar deras Tofu!

This is an excellent budget hotel, I had a great stay. It is not very close to the city center of Barcelona, but metro and buses are only two blocks away. Actually, the center is within walking distance, 30~ minutes approximately. And the Sagrada Família is a 5-10 minutes walk away. The neighborhood felt safe, it is more of a residential area but there are still some good restaurants and cafés. Service at this budget hotel is excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Wifi is free with a surprisingly good connection. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I would recommend other visitors to get their breakfast at a café in the neighborhood among other locals, it is nice and friendly --- and the breakfast buffet at the hotel was nothing special at all, unfortunately.

Hotelli oli siisti, henkilökunta ystävällistä ja sijainti mukavalla, hieman rauhallisemmalla, alueella. Hinta-laatusuhde enemmän kuin kohdillaan :)

Tråkig byggnad men fräscht på rummen. Bra avstånd till buss och tunnelbana. Väldigt svårt att hitta bra och prisvärda restauranger in kvarteren runt hotellet.

rustig hotel in rustige buurt goede kamer maar wel wat klein en maar 1 stoel goede douche schone kamer beetje hard bed en erg dunne kussens maar dat is opgelost door een kussen erbij personeel beetje afstandelijk maar dat komt misschien door de taal barriere prijs kwaliteit oke

Das Hotel besticht nicht nur mit modernen, ausserst sauberen Zimmern perfekter Groesse, sondern auch mit ueberaus hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal.

De mensen die bij het hotel werkte waren heel erg aardig. Wij hebben het hotel alleen gebruikt om snachts te slapen. Daar was het precies geschikt voor.

Vi var to voksne og to barn som overnattet 5 netter på dette hotellet i november 2012. Vi fikk et rom med god plass, det var et oppholdsrom med to senger og et soverrom med to senger. Det var bra med skapplass og derfor lett å holde en viss orden på rommet. Badet var helt greit, rent og fint, Renholdet var kjempebra. Frokost var ikke inkludert, men vi bestilte likevel, det var en grei buffet, ikke overdådig på noen måte, men den inneholdt det viktigste. Servicen i resepsjonen var kjempebra. Alltid blide og hjelpsomme, og de gjorde hele tiden sitt beste for at vi skulle være fornøyde. Beliggenheten var topp, like ved Sagrada Familia og flere metrostasjoner i nærheten. Jeg synes hotellet var veldig bra, særlig i forhold til prisen som ikke var avskrekkende. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Jeg og min mor ønsket oss en rolig weekend i Barcelona med god mat og severdigheter. Derfor var det midt i blinken med et hotell som lå et stykke unna byen! Enkelt å komme seg dit med banen (nærmeste stopp: Monomentum), kort vei til Gaudis' Sagradea Familias (vær tidlig ute for å unngå kø) og vel tjue minutters spasertur til sentrum. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening - og sov godt på stille rom vendt ut mot bakgården. Vi opplevde at vi fikk mye for pengene! Det eneste vi kunne ønske oss var flere gode restauranter og frokoststeder i nærheten. De fleste stedene vi testet var kvaliteten på maten så som så. Hvis vi skal anbefale noe i nærheten må det bli Parrilla Alfonsina i Diputacio, 379 - som har biff som sin spesialitet!
