Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina - דובאי

Friendly helpful staff. Impeccably clean and relatively new with new fittings and furnishings. Located near Metro train station, some food stores and Marina with some great dining, all within walking distance. Taxi had minor difficulty finding entrance on arrival as this was at back of hotel and not in obvious place for entrance. Our room contained everything we needed for the 1 night we stayed. It included a washer dryer in the kitchenette of the room we had. It was good to throw a wash load from previous travelling on while touring in Dubai. Given it was on main highway, it was relatively quiet apart from the occasional speeding car. Had a great sleep, so we weren't bothered by any noise. Room has its own air conditioning controls so one can adjust temperature or turn on/off as needed. Hotel car and driver was offered as an optional alternative to taxi. Cost more than taxi, but definitely worth the surety of getting to airport on time in a bit more comfort without any language or payment problems. We prepaid for car so we knew how much we could spend while shopping the markets etc. Definitely a good and comfortable hotel for a stopover or extended stay.

The staff was helpful, but facility was not being maintained in a top notch fashion and the hotel was clearly trying to save money by cutting corners in many areas.

Everything about the hotel was very nice. We had originally booked a studio, but were upgraded to a one-bedroom at no additional cost. The accommodations were very spacious and always clean. The daily cleaning service was prompt and reliable. The free WiFi was sufficiently fast. Having two bathrooms was an added bonus. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishware, utensils, cutlery, linens and paper towels. A mini refrigerator, stove top and oven are also included. Neither a toaster or microwave were included. The washing machine/dryer and ironing board were also useful. The location was excellent and is within walking distance of the Dubai Marina Mall, Marina Walk and JBR Beach. The nearest Metro station is also within walking distance, but I would recommend using a taxi as your primary mode of transportation in this very large city. Front desk staff and the concierge staff were always friendly and helpful. We frequently visited the nearby NKD Pizza. We would stay again without hesitation and definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff friendly and efficient . They organised taxi's and tours for us.Our two bedroom suite was clean and comfortable and it is a good location for travelling to all the sights.The pool area is attractive and well maintained but not relaxing due to traffic noise and building work on a high rise next to it . Unfortunately the traffic noise from 22 lanes of motorway and dual carriageway affect how well you can relax and sleep .

Great location. Near to metro station and highway. Walking distance to Marina Walk and JBR Walk. Service quality is excellent. One of the best hotels to d-stay in Dubai.

I chose the deluxe 1 bedroom apartment. IT was spacious and good to have separate living and sleeping areas. The bathroom was very small with only a shower that was tiny. The pool area was nice, but building blocks the sun for part of the day. Ordered room service fromt he italian restaurant...was good. 5 minute walk to beach. Only major drawback for me was that the hotel serves no alcohol...either in the mini bar or the restaurants. There are other Radisson properties in Dubai that do and I was expecting the same at this location. Plan ahead and shop at the duty free if that's a concern.

If you are looking for a hotel that has a lot of space and separate bedrooms for your children then this is a great place! It is in walking distance to several malls, the Marina walkway and the Jumeirah Beach. Keep in mind that taxis are decently priced but remember the taxi from the airport is always 25 more than normal.

Nice hotel - good value for money. Within walking distance of Dubai Marina. Note that the hotel doesn't have a liquer license, and neither does the restaturants at the otherwise nice marina. You can walk to the Metro, but it will take 10-15 minuttes from hotel to the platform. Breakfast ok. Service excellent.

The Hotel: - The hotel is located just next to the highway, which I see as one of the biggest problems with this hotel. - We booked a standard studio with a balcony and asked to placed away from the highway. However, we were placed in a room without a balcony as we arrived, the room was in good condition but only had a small window in one end just around the corner from the highway, so you could still hear some traffic. After complaining we were informed that only Standard Studios facing the highway has balconys. We asked to get a balcony, as we payed for but could not get one unless we wanted a noisy room, where you couldn't hear each other talking when sitting on the balcony. - We complainted about this several times and the staff promised to move us to a room with a balcony without the noise, however this never happened. Radisson has a 100% guest satisfaction guarantee but don't expect anything from this. The area: - The hotel is close to the Marina, unlike many other places in Dubai, you can actually walk there in 10-15 minutes. - You can also walk to the beach, it takes around 20 minutes. There is no sun chairs at this beach. - You can walk to the nearest metro station in 10-15 minutes. From there it takes around 45 minutes to the old city and 20 minutes to Emirates Mall.

lovely clean hotel and great to have the kitchen if we were staying longer. Stones throw to the nearest lovelyhotels and beaches and loved to walk around the promenade and have a drink/ some food by the marina.

Very nice hotel. staff very friendly and professional. The ideal place for family stay. Will definitely go back

Great time there. Free wi-fi in the room that cheaper hotels would charge for and thereby negate the cost difference. Room was big, king size bed, kitchenette, capucino machine, 100 TV channels to accomodate any nationality, a little patio, small fidge, and even a washer/dryer. Nice Thai and Italian restaurant near the lobby, too. They also have shuttles to all the big malls. The only drawback is no alcahol in the hotel, which just means going to other hotels or the Yacht club on the marina walk for club life.

Its in a great location for walking down to the Jumeirah Beach area. Lost of restaurants to eat at! I loved the free internet which is hard to find in Dubai. Only thing I did not like was that the Hotel has no Bar! Which means you have to go to other hotels to have a drink. I travel through Dubai a lot and its hard to find good service at some Hotels. This one was Great!

We used this hotel for a 3 night stay in Dubai, and found it to be modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful whenever they were called upon, and the location of the hotel is ideal for reaching many of the Dubai attractions. The metro is very nearby, or if as we chose to do so, catching a cab is straightforward. We pre-booked breakfast, which was ok (although not vast) but the staff were suitably attentive and we didn't leave hungry. If you want glitz and glamour, then I would suggest chosing one of the other Dubai hotels, but that will be reflected in the price.

The Hotel itself is a very clean and comfortable place to stay, with good facilities and in easy walking distance to the marina area for restaurants etc. Our Suite was located on the Sheik Zayed Road side of the building which could get a little noisy during the night. The next time I saty here, which I will, I would ask for a suite a little higher and on the other side of the building. The area in which the Hotel is located is pretty much like the whole of Dubai, a bit of a construction site, but this does not impact on the Hotel itself, just the scenery. All the staff without exception were most couteyous and attentive to our requirements. All in all, the total experience of staying at the Radisson Blu was extermely pleasant and as stated before, I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and i stayed here from 26th Oct 10 - 4 Nov 10 8 days in total.We had arranged a hotel car to pick us up from the airport and the driver was waiting with name placard as we exited the airport he then basically did everything else ie cases info etc. 150 Dirhams roughly £30 but im sure a taxi would be cheaper but the car was anice touch for us. We arrived early 8am but only had to wait 20 mins for room to be ready,we had a standard studio booked,it was on the 1st floor and was very well presented with the normal expectations,cooker,toaster,washer/dryer,iron + board,coffee maker,fridge,flat screen tv on wall. It was a very spacious studio with a huge and very comfortable bed.Air Con black out curtains in room safe. The outdoor pool was on the 3rd floor and there was also a kids pool,we did phone and check and can confirm that the outdoor pool is mixed as i had read other reviews about it being male only,there is a female only pool inside but my wife never used it so can't comment but if it anything like the outdoor one it will be very nice,sunbeds a plenty with fluffy towels on each bed and a plentyful supply of spares if needed,also has a very nice well equipped gym which looks out onto outdoor pool.Just a thing about the pool if you are a sun worshipper becuase of the way the hotel is situated the outdoor pool only gets the sun until approx 12.30 which for us was more than enough as it was stil very warm without being baked. Daily bottle of water supplied and room was cleaned everyday to a high standard.Onsite Thai restaraunt but we never tried so can't comment. The staff are very pleasent and very helpful and couldn't be faulted.The Radisson is 10mins walk to Dubai Marina Metro station and 10 mins walk to beach this was one of the reasons we picked it as we enjoy shopping and beach and both were very close via metro and short walk.Slight mix up at check out with bill but was rapidly fixed.This was our first visit to Dubai and can honestly say we had a fantast

I loved the service and location at this hotel. Its a short walk to the Jumeira Beach walk, the Beach, the Marina mall and the Marina Walk. We used the gym, the spa and the swimming pool at the hotel and very happy with them. The staff were very helpful and professional and the rooms very clean, they even folded our clothes. The only downside was that our room faced the highway and so we never used the balcony as it was very noisy outside.

Gode, store rom/leiligheter med relativt sentral beliggenhet i Dubai Marina. Dubais største motorvei er nærmeste nabo og det bygges flittig i området, det var derfor en god del støy selv om rommene er relativt godt lydisolert. Støyen ved hotellets ellers hyggelige bassengområde var plagsom. Rensligheten på rommene og hotellet generelt var bra. Servicen var upåklagelig. Litt harde senger etter min smak, savnet overmadrass. Kommer likevel gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning. Sentral beliggenhet ved Dubai Marina, men Dubai sentrum ligger et par mil unna.

Mycket fräsch hotell och trevlig personal. Ligger med gångavstånd till Dubai Marin och knappt 10 minuter till stranden och en gata med många restauranger. Nära en metro hållplats också som är ett smidigt sätt att ta sig till Mall of the Emirates och Dubai Mall med Burj Khalifa. Minus för litet poolområde som bara har sol fram till ca 13:00.

Studio très confortable: petit salon et chambre. Les environs sont en travaux... l’hôtel se situe entre 2 stations de métro et proche du Marina Mall. Le petit déjeuner est très bien le restaurant italien également. L'emplacement de l'hotel est un peu excentré.

Rommet/leiligheten hadde alt vi trengte - fikk låne adapter i resepsjonen. Hotellet ligger like ved Dubai Marina (kjekt område), og har både Mall og små matbutikker i nærheten samt greit for taxiene å finne fram. De bygger alle steder i byen og også i nærheten av hotellet vårt - vi var heldig å hadde rom på andre siden av byggeaktiviteten. Kan anbefales!

Hotellet er perfekt beliggende få minutters gang fra den meget smukke, spændende og lækre Marina´; vandtaxa og flot mall på Marinaen og 10 minutter fra hotellet. Hotelpersonales service er ekstrem flot, venlige, meget villige til at hjælpe og altid med et stort smill Det mindste/billigste værelse er 40m" stort med gode køkkenfaciliteter, porcelæn, bestik mm, vaskemasine med tørretumbler.Der er dog ingen shuttle-bus fra lufthavnen, tag en taxa, hotellet tager det dobbelte - unødvendigt - Noget gadestøj for værelserne med udsigt til forbikørende-5 baners-vejanlæg, men terassen er dejlig stor, og man kan vænne sig til den monotone støj med de smukke bygninger i baggrunden.

Vi var mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på detta hotell. Vi fick ett rum som låg mot marinan med bra utsikt och mindre buller fån vägen. Bor ni här bör ni försöka få ett rum som inte vetter mot motorvägen eftersom ljudnivå kan vara störande. Hotellets läge är bra med kort avstånd till The Walk, marinans restauranger samt affären där man kan inhandla frukostmat om man så önskar. Mycket praktiskt att ta sig med metro till alla intressanta platser. Gratis WIfi var ett plus. Vi hyrde även bil (mycket billigt) av Herts i foaljen för att åka till Abu Dhabi. Vi använde oss av hotellets resebyrå för att boka ökensafari. Polen är liten och solen försvinner redan vid 13.00, ta dig istället till den allmäna stranden som ligger på gångavstånd. Personalen var serviceinriktade och mycket trevliga, de gjorde alltid sitt bästa för att tillmötesgå oss. Vi bodde här 8 nätter.

I stayed in a standard Studio room. The room was clean and well lit. Compared to other hotels in Dubai, the standard is very good with a washer/dryer, ironing board, and even Nespresso machine with cartridges supplied in standard. For longer term stay it had some nuisances, like: no electrical outlets beside the bed (for phone charging, for example), the fridge is small and taken up by minibar, not enough hooks to hang things in the bathroom, awkward (designer) bathroom sink, loud street outside (but good sound proofing). Overall great value though.

Veldig bra men min kone synest det skulle vert en bar der.

Vi havde en dejlig tur. Syntes hotellet havde været perfekt hvis det havde været 4 stjernet. Hotellet ligger lige op af 6 sporet vej ( konstant larm ) så bliver der bygget lige ved siden af poolen så støjen var forfærdelig, (men det kan hotellet jo ikke gøre for ) solen var total væk fra pool området kl 1300. Men meget sød og venlig personale. Med hensyn til stranden ligger hotellet også for langt væk. Men dejligt klima fantastisk venlig og sød befolkning. Dejligt rent over alt .

Inga klagomål, korta avstånd till dubai marina som spröddar av liv på kvällarna och JBR walk på dagarna samt stranden. Bra utgångspunkt i Dubai. Mycket bra service men hade otur med rummet som var riktat mot vägen och ganska långt ner. Hotell poolens sol försvinner vid 13 i november månad, turligt att det ligger nära stranden.

Varje morgon kl 06.30 väcktes vi av borrande och hamrande i rummet ovanför. Vi tog kontakt med receptionen men de svarade med att de inte byggde något nu (?). 3:e morgonen fick vi nog och i morgonrock stampande vi ner och bad dem följa med upp på våning 1 och själva lyssna. Till slut (sista dagen) så erbjöds vi "beachaccess" vid deras systerhotell ute på "Palmen" som kompensation. Det var efter att vi nämnt ekonomisk kompensation för otrevlig vistelse. Hade läst tidigare recensioner att våning 1-2 var si så där. Nu hade vi fått våning 1 och redan vid ankomsten bad jag om att få högre upp. Det gick inte - nya policys... Tyvärr var hela omgivningen en byggarbetsplats (grannhuset höll på att byggas) och poolen på 3:e våningen var mot byggplatsen med byggjobbare som bankade, borrade och lyftkranar som väsnades. Som rekreationsresa var detta inget topphotell utan mera ett hotell för affärsresenärer.

Très contente des appartements du Radisson Blu residence. Personnel attentif et sérieux, propreté irréprochable. Nous résidons maintenant dans cet hotel à chaque fois que nous venons à Dubai. Seul petit bémol, la proximité de l'autoroute si on a une chambre donnant de ce côté, il vaut mieux demander une vue sur la marina. Mais comme les prix sont très compétitifs, je préfère avoir vue sur une route plutôt que payer beaucoup plus et voir la mer. Le Marina Mall est à 2 pas à pied, la plage à 10mn en marchant, la marina au pied de l'immeuble, bref emplacement top.

Hotellet har en liten pool, inomhuspoolen är bara för damer, bordtennis och tennis som det står att det finns stämmer inte, poolbaren fanns det ingen, liten och rätt trång frukostrestaurang, bra med en välsorterad supermarket bara 100m bort. Bra hjälp av personal att boka reservationer till restauranger, m.m.

Die Marina Bay und der Strand sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso eine kleinere Mall und die Metrostation. Frühstück in der Mall ist empfehlenswert. Wir fühlten uns auch nachts sehr sicher. Deshalb werden wir das Hotel wieder buchen. Das Studio (Standard) war super eingerichtet und sehr gross, aber direkt an der lauten Autobahn. De Luxe Zimmer sind auf der ruhigeren Seite. Der Service ist für ein Hotel dieser Klasse nicht so gut, das Zimmer wurde erst gegen Abend gereinigt und an der Reception gab es so gut wie keine Infos über Dubai.
