Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marshall - מרשל

Newer hotel, very clean, excellent staff. Only negative would be a very limited choice on TV channels.

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was roomy and clean. It is easy to get to once you learn to turn at the Valero Station. The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only comment I would make is that there's a gap at the bottom of the door to the room which makes it easy to hear conversations in the hallway outside.

I have stayed here before. Really everytime I come to Marshall. I always enjoy the stay. Good location, Nice service, clean rooms, and good breakfast. Great overall stay.

The Motel was nice a little hard to find would be the only negative I would have. The clerk that checked us in was very nice also the lady thay served breakfast,both african americans and both very nice. I will stay again.

This is a fairly new hotel so there are not many complaints. They did not have luggage carriers so we had to make multiple trips to get everything to our room. The sofa sleeper is impossible to sleep on but the beds are nice and comfy. The highway noise for our room was excessive and disrupting so we bought ear plugs for the second night. The breakfast was average fare for hotels but the staff did a great job of making sure there was a large and well stocked selection at all times.

This hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful .

I could not turn the water on in the shower.

enjoyed stay especially breakfast and washer dryer facilities wish we could have gotten non smoking room smell in our room was strong they did bring us some deoderizer and tried to make it better we appreciated that!

overall the hotel was great. The only issue was that we booked a king sized bed and when we got to the room it was two regular beds. We paid for the king bed which was a little disappointing.

Stayed there for 1 night, very clean, right off the Interstate - and surprised how quiet it was there. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable - as Holiday Inn's should be.

This hotel is clean and the staff is awesome! Thank you for making our visit easy and comfortable--you have a stellar team!

Overall it was a very nice hotel. The problem arose when extra sheets and pillows were requested. We were told we would find them in the closet. Well we did, and they were dirty. When we notified the front office we were supplied with clean bedding.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. But needed a little maintenance...breakfast was fair.

I'm from Dallas but my family resides in Marshall and normally when I visit I stay a Comfort Suites. I decided to give Holiday Inn Express (I was in town for my uncle's funeral) and I regret I did; the hotel lobby was fine, the front desk clerk was great but once I made it to my room( 2 Bed suite) it was a different story! I checked the room like I do all hotel rooms I stay in and to my horrid surprise 1. The tables and tv stand was dusty. 2. The microwave plate was dirty. 3. Behind the lid of the toilet was dirty. 4. The worst of he worst was there was hair in the bed(sheets and pillows) not only one bed but both beds. It was the grossest thing I've witness out of all my years of staying in a hotel!! I called and the front desk clerk did have housekeeping remake the beds but that was a very uncomfortable night it was uncomfortable I Bought a blanket and Lysol From the store. I could have changed hotels but it was mother's day, graduation and a trial going on that weekend so all hotels was booked. Lastely, I reserved this hotel from Hotels.com so I hope this isn't the type of room you receive when you book via their site instead of directly with Holiday Inn.

Very clean and perfectly sized rooms. Breakfast with many delicious choices and well maintained. Along with friendly staff. Enjoyed stay.

Hotel was very nice and quiet and very affordable breakfast eggs could have tasted a bit better but besides that it was great.

Needed room to park truck and trailer so this was a very convenient , the room was ready and quiet people were nice. Over all great stay. Would recommend to friends or family,

nice hotel. seemed new. the only down fall was the breakfast was not that good at all and never got replenished when it ran out. still a very nice hotel.

There were problems with my reservations for some reason unknown to the service desk, and the young lady was not sure how to handle the transaction. I requested her manager, who knew just how to handle the problem, and I was accommodated. Then an alarm of some kind kept going off and she did not know how to stop it and after explaining a 16 hour shift that I had just completed bells were not what I wanted to hear to the manager, I did not hear them again. Besides those two incidents I have no complaints.

Can't see this hotel until you've arrived!

The hotel was very nice. My only complaint is that it is difficult to find. There are no visible signs from the expressway. There is a billboard directly above the hotel that would be a good place to help locate it, but it advertises a strip club. The staff was very pleasant and are aware of the need to make finding the hotel easier for visitors.

Great hotel, clean, courteous and professional staff. A sign is needed at corner of Frontage Road and Highway 59, to make it easier to find. Great experience!

When we arrived to this location with wife and kids around 6pm, we were told that the rooms were overbooked for the room we paid for with two queen beds. We were offered a room with one less bed and a rollaway bed. The sheets were stained on our bed. Pool trash was overflowing with beer cans in the morning. Breakfast was ok until the pancake machine broke. The view of the highway is nice and if you don't care, a strip club billboard right out in front of the hotel. If you decide your luck here, make sure you don't turn on the interstate entry road. There is no entry from the freeway access road. Just saying. The hotel employee on duty promised that the hotel manager would call us to work out a discount from hotels.com since our room was a step or two down. Still waiting for that phone call. In conclusion, this hotel was not worth the price in our opinion. You're better off with a competitor nearby.

Pros: nice modern room, clean and well layed out, right off freeway and near food, decent hot breakfast. Cons: Staff was a little unprofessional (sitting on ground texting when i tried to check out) but nothing major. Wouldn't affect me returning or recommending. Confusing on how to get there off 59. MUST TAKE FEEDER NOT HWY 20.

Clean and quiet with wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in, my stay was a pleasure. Great check in staff, wonderful housekeeping, every staff member was pleasant, professional and efficient. Great place to stay.

Great place, a little difficult to see from the frontage road, but billboard gave good directions.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and easy to find. The breakfast buffet was very nice with yoghurt, fruit, pancakes, eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, toast, juice etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Close to the Interstate.

We traveled to Marshall, TX for a founder's day program for WIley College. The hotel was in close proximity to the venue as well as eating and shopping. Amenities: We were only in town for one night so we didn't use any of the hotel's amenities. But, just walking through, I noticed that the gym had enough equipment to get a good workout and the business center had (2) computers and a printer. Location: The area was a little off the beaten path from the other hotels, but only by a mile or two. The surrounding area wasn't what I would call tranquil or serene, but it was near the interstate with easy access on and off. Room: The room was very contemporary with dark wood furniure, nice art, flat screen TV, funky little mirror door to the closet and plenty of space to move around. Bathroom: The lighting in the bathroom was poor and my fiance' had to put her make-up on using the mirrored closet door. The bathroom was very nice though with modern accents.

My wife was very pleased therefore I'm happy. Would stay there again.
