Great room. Our stay was excellent. No problems

Before we booked a room, we asked to see one. Joseph, the delightful, friendly front desk person got someone to show us a room. We loved the sparce efficiency & modern decor. A comfortable bed, good workout room, & helpful directions the next morning from another great front desk person made for a perfect stay.

We stayed for three nights, Thursday-Saturday. The hotel and our room were great. Very clean. Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Awesome shower. Will definitely stay next time we travel to Dallas.

The hotel itself was satisfactory - very contemporary and green. The staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and quiet during check-in as well as through out the afternoon, where we were able to enjoy a quiet poolside visit. The evening however was a completely different story - unfortunately, there were groups of what looked like highschool soccor/basketball teams and all the kids were completely out of hand! Parents learn to disipline and control your children! The music was ridculously loud and played of nothing but RAP music - not everyone is into RAP - which was quit annoying and watching these kids run around an "Adult" area unsupervised and hotel staff not controling the situation was unbelieveable. We were not at all pleased with the evening activites enviroment. If I ever decided on this hotel again, I will certainly inquire as to any high school teams overnighting there before I book!

The rooms are well laid out, clean and comfortable and I am a picky germaphobe. The gym is well equipped and the pool table and bar in the lobby were nice. The downside is their pillows are too high, too hard and lumpy. I could not get comfortable and had a sore neck the next morning. The bed is comfortable but on the firm side. Do not allow them to put you on the first floor. The lobby gets busy and there was a VERY LOUD party. People came in and out of the doorway into the hall until 12:30. I was three rooms away from the lobby door; I could hear the music with the door closed and some of the louder guests. When they opened the lobby door, it was as if I was in the room with them and the door slammed constantly. The noise made it impossible to sleep. (The lobby closes at midnight or I would have had them move me. I complained and the noise stopped soon after.) Bring your own pillow and stay on the higher levels. The staff is great, rooms are spotless, the gym is clean and has everything you need.

The room was nice, but there was not enough room to hang our clothes.No place to hang towels in bathroom. We loved the lights over the beds! A little too modern for our taste. Needed extra coffee on the second day-- the coffee maker makes only one cup at a time and two of us drank coffee, so we only had coffee for one person. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The Aloft is a comfortable hotel with all the expected amenities offered at an attractive price. The hotel is modern and clean with an emphasis of community space in the lobby, bar and pool areas. The rooms are small, basic but comfortable. Wifi internet access was good throughout the hotel. The exercise room is slightly better than average with several elliptical trainers, treadmills an exercise bike and a universal. The only negatives that I experienced are that there are no ice machines (however ice is available if you ask) and the check out process is confusing. I would rank this hotel very highly compared to similarly priced hotels.

1 coffee for 3 people. Very little closet space. Quiet, nice atmosphere. A business destination -- weekend price doubles for weekday stays.

First the good...very attentive and friendly reception staff who were eager to please and made a wonderful restaurant recommendation. Other staff were just as friendly with only one exception (see below). Modern room decor and layout; maybe not for everyone but I liked it. Comfortable beds. Now for the small issues...the ceiling in the room looked like it was in need of repairs, the TV remote did not work properly and one of the lamps did not turn on. Also, the bartender had a condescending attitude. But the good points were so strong that overall, it was a great experience and I would stay there again.

Nice clean hotel would stay again

I've stayed at this Aloft hotel about a dozen times and the rooms are always clean, the staff always polite and the cost always reasonable.

I love this hotel and if I could afford it I would stay here again or at any aloft hotels. It was very modern and there was a great lobby where you can play pool for free or board games, eat etc. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The hotel is very kid friendly also. The room was very modern and new and clean. The shower had soap and shampoo dispensers incase you need it. Lovely.

Good hotel

Close to work, almost in the Legacy shops district, really great, helpfull staff, and a nice bar / music tied to it. I´d like to see an expanded terrass, sort of, make more use of it. Great place!

I really enjoyed my wk.end stay.the rm. Was beautiful and comfy.i would stay at aloft plano again

Its a nice place to go on a budget but the bed was hard and we were itching all night, not sure if it was the cleaners they used or not.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL. WAS HERE FOR MY TEEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IN FRISCO AND THEY ALL LOVED IT TOO! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT FROM FRONT DESK GREETINGS TO ROOM CLEANLINESS & COMFORT. THE EVENING ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT AND YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GO ANYWHERE!!ONLY THING FOR THAT PRICE I DEFINITELY THINK BREAKFAST SHOULD BE INCLUDED. I WILL STAY AGAIN IF WE HAVE TO GO THERE

My experience at the hotel Alot Plano was very dissatisfying. Guests across from me were heavily intoxicated, arguing and fighting around 2am in the hallway. I had to call the front desk to resolve the incident. The front desk wrote me a letter of apology and a $5.00 dollar voucher for the inconvenience.

liked the hotel, would definetly stay there again for the right price.

We always try to stay at the aloft when. We find great prices at Hotel.com for such a snazzy hotel.

This was my first time to experience Aloft... I thought it was amazing and accomodations were great very impressed with the rooms cleanliness and everything was wonderful you gotta check it out are you missing out!

The young lady that checked me in was super nice. We had another group joining us and was able to put us next door. Very accommodating. Have already Highly recommended the Aloft to friends.

Stayed before and will stay again! Love the hotel amenities and location.

Overall, we were quite happy with our stay, although it wasn't quite as dog-friendly as described on the hotel website. While there was no up-front deposit required, we did have to sign a couple of waivers agreeing to additional cleaning charges if needed. Dogs were only allowed to stay in 1st floor rooms and are not allowed to be left unattended in the rooms. While these are understandable restrictions, a more accurate and complete description of the pet policy on their website would be appreciated. Our son stayed at the same hotel, and the room he was given had an odor that required moving to a different room. The hotel staff was very accommodating with the move, but I had to ding them a bit on the cleanliness rating because of this.

Easy to get in and out. Convenient to businesses in Plano. Nice bar. Didn't try food.

Only complaint, no ice machines on floors. All the doors were locked. Wanted ice for ice chest. Had to go to first floor and clerk gave me one bucket of ice

One benefit is the hotel drops you off at businesses in the vicinity if you need a ride, but we were left at the wrong building.

I love staying here, but this time I was woken up by the smell of smoke. When I left the room, the whole hall stunk. I told the girls at the desk, and they apologized, but nothing was done to compensate us.

This is an amazing hotel. Great rooms, and theu allow you to hook up your electronics so you can watch movies or play games. Great price for an awesome hotel.
