Got a river-view room. The hotel is gorgeous, and the rooms are so cool. It takes something special to make a really great, modern feel, and they've done it right here. Staff is also super-friendly. Even the lobby/lounge was nice.

Loved the hotel! Location was perfect for me because my meeting was only 2 miles away. It will be my regular monthly stop when in RI. The exterior is true 1950"s industrial complex. The interior is 50's also, but 2050's. The bed was so great that I kept falling asleep while making a few evening calls. One minor problem was that breakfast food service was supposed to start at 7 am. At 7:15 there was still no food staff and I had an 8 am meeting. A hotel that is seeking business travelers should begin breakfast earlier than 7. All in all, the NYLO concept of comfort, care, at a reasonable price is a winner!

I most enjoyed the attention to details that made my stay at NYLO so memorable. From the cool "loft" room designs to the little amenities like real coffee and a Keurig coffee maker to the great lounge feeling of the lobby where you would actually like to hang out and relax. I will definitely stay at NYLO hotels again!

I recently stayed at the NYLO hotel in Warwick and was deeply disappointed in what happened. I asked for a handicapped room because my girlfriend is in a wheelchair. There was no bench for her to sit on, and a worker there said that she should just, "Lay on the floor while showering." During our stay our room was cleaned exactly 1 time, even though we asked the front desk to make sure it was clean several times. Our room didn't come equipped with a sign to hang on the door for the room to be cleaned. Another time after asking for the room to be cleaned, the sheets, and blankets were placed on a chair in the room, the dirty sheets were left on the floor, and the trash wasn't taken out. The maintenance man came back in and we worked together to make the bed and that's when we found out we were missing the cleaning/shh to put it on the door. The last full night we spent there the fire alarm blared and after I went out to see what was going on, a few minutes later a staff member came by and informed me that we needed to evacuate the building. That wasn't exactly an easy thing to do on the second floor with somone in a wheelchair. . When she returned she told us that we didn't need to leave. Nobody really gave us a clear and concise plan on how to escort the handicapped out of their rooms in case of an emergency.

It's a cool place, not your ordinary boring hotel room. It's more modern, so if that's not your thing go more conventional. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower is great but the low lighting in the room is not functional and is annoying. Its within walking distance to a very nice mall but the neighborhood it's in is depressing, not dangerous, but gross.

As always super clean,super comfortable bed but this time no hot water in shower in morning! Yikes! So no nice hot rain shower for me that day! Notified front desk at checkout.

It was a wonderfully romantic and unique experience. We will be back!

It's such a great hotel, not a normal hotel, creative,fancy but feel like home.

Great value, cool design, comfortable.

I arrived on a Sunday evening and it was a ghost town. The front door was hard to find and uninviting, the lobby was dim, the front desk person was busy, and the restaurant was closed. When I expressed my desire for dinner, I was given a couple of delivery menus. The room is very small and chic in a loft style. My initial disappointment was short-lived, however. The bed is VERY comfortable and the shower/bathroom is great. I purchased a meal in the restaurant the next evening and despite the somewhat strange experience of carrying it to my room myself (complete with a plate and silverware) the quality of the dinner was exquisite! The bartender was very friendly and helpful, in contrast to the front desk person who barely looked up from her cellphone when I checked out. I would stay here again because it's quiet and different from the normal vanilla hotel room.

I have enjoyed my stays here before...this stay however was uncomfortable due to no heat the first night (it was in low 30's outside). All I was given was an extra comforter. 2nd night heat was ovewhelming.

I read some of the bad reviews that this hotel received and after having stayed there myself for a few days, in my opinion the negative statements I read were generally unfounded. If you like an industrial feel with an ultra modern make over then you'll love this place. The rooms are awesome and state of the art (the shower is the BOMB). TV channel selection was much better than most other 4 star hotels, Internet was adequate and very simple to set up, restaurant was a little pricey but very good. Service was excellent. Staff was excellent. Hotel is very clean. For those of you that will be staying on a Sunday there is a sports bar across the street (3 min walk from lobby). One suggestion I'd like to make to this hotel is to add a small convenience booth stocked with snacks, beer, medicine and general grooming items (mini of course) and other nick nacks that are frequently sought by travelers. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying at another NYLO in the future.

I *love* the NYLO. It's an old mill that's been converted and the rooms and ambiance suggest a cool mix of the old and new. Always stay here when visiting our RI office, and took the opportunity of doing that before a flight out and a conference in Providence. It's not the easiest place to find, and it's not the most convenient to almost anything (except the local mall), but I will gladly drive out of my way to stay here again (I've already stayed here 3 times!) - really cool concept, and I hope they keep up appearances and staff friendliness, which I noticed had diminished just a little this past trip.

What a cool place! It is a rehabbed mill that features very industrial, modern, and eclectic style. LOVED the bed, the lounge with hanging chairs. I spend my week in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia so I stay in many places. This one rocks. When staying at the airport in Warwick, this is my new home!

We really liked the rooms. We could hear noises from the other occupants. They could improve it by just adding a second mirror - the only one was in the bathroom.

The rooms are not set up in a really ideal arrangement but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

This hotel is right to an abandoned building...its very creepy at night. The parking lot has very little light in the parking lot. Its feels unsafe! I didnt like that I had to pay extra to use a fridge and microwave. Most hotels give those things for free. They charge $16.99 to rent a movie.Overall I enjoyed my stay but I would recommend staying somewhere else to get more for your money.

I've recently stayed at the NYLO two separate times and have really enjoyed my stay both times. So many hotels are so similar that going to the hotel is just a place to stay and unexciting, the industrial decor and modern layout of the hotel make the stay more interesting. The beds are extremely comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean both times and the front desk service very nice and helpful. I love the Keurig coffee maker in the room. My recent stay was during the holidays and the location was wonderful, right across the street is a mall with a Target, Macy's, Nordstrom Rack and a pretty decent food court. It was so convenient to shop. I recommended the hotel to my sister who also stayed there. I will definitely stay there again

Incredible hotel. Unlike anything hotel I've ever stayed in. It made the trip. Definitely worth going back to.

Very nice modern decor facility. Extremely comfortable bed and fantastic shower (rainfall showerhead and wand). Room had a keurig coffeemaker. Downside is that parking is a fair distance from the entrance and anything extra, such as additional coffee, needed to be purchased from the restaurant ($3 for a small cup). Food at the restaurant was a nice selection with fantastic presentation, but the food was not hot. Service was exceptional all the way through from check-in to housekeeping to wait staff.

Stayed here for 3 days while on a house hunting trip. My room was very comfortable, clean, and also very different from a normal hotel experience. I would stay here again if on a business trip, or traveling with my wife, but the room layout would make travel with kids a challenge. Conventinet location to drive from, but walking to things in the area is a a challenge given the local infrastructure, even though a good bar and the mall are very close.

good hotel , with comfortable and clean rooms , and the staff was very nice

I arrived at night, and realized I was in an old mill section of Warwick. There was not much lighting in the area. Once inside I was surprised when I saw the low lighting and stark, warehouse, but clean interior. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. Reached my room and found it to be euro style, with concrete floors and walls. Initially out of my comfort zone, but it grew on me. I liked the fact that the concrete floor was warm to bare feet, and the room was meticulously clean. I'd stay again. Improve the exterior lighting.

The hotel looks brand new and appears to be well maintained. You will enjoy staying here if you enjoy ultra modern with a lot of concrete. The floors, wall and ceilings are all concrete. I imagine that it provides safety in case of a fire, but also is a bit cold on your feet and cold metaphorically as well. One of the design issues that I don't really like, and was mentioned in other reviews, is that the bathroom is not completely enclosed. I was staying with my girlfriend, so we didn't have the privacy issues that others were concerned about. However, I like to wake up a bit earlier that her. I usually get up and shower first. I was not able to do that without waking her with this set-up. The bed was super comfortable, which is always important. The gym was decent with several elipticals and treadmills as well as a recumbent bike and free weights. However, the sauna (at least the men's sauna) did not appear to be functioning.

I really want to like this place more. It is at the edge of a neighborhood. It's quiet and close to shopping and familiar places to eat. It's got great design, kinda cool & modern( i think its an old mill building, or some kind of former industrial space) Reminds me of some of the places I've stayed in cities in Europe or S. America. Didn't eat at the restaurant. It had a couple of bad reviews. I think they could be sitting on a gold mine- if the restaurant had more of a presence in the hotel and served some quality food (and espresso drinks!) you wouldn't have to go elsewhere to eat!. I never even saw a menu anywhere and there's no room service. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, others didn't seem to care one way or the other. Overall, I liked it, I'd stay there again, but wouldn't expect 4 or 5 star service or amenities.

I really liked the style of the hotel. Concrete floors and walls, exposed duct work, it might not appeal to everyone but I liked it.

NYLO is very welcoming, modern contemporary, mix with a bit of industrial charm. The decor in the room was appealing and fitting. The lounge area along with the bar is by far top 5 out of the hotels in the Providence/Warwick area. I didn't like the fact that the fruits I was given for breakfast was spoiled. However everything else was fine. Not too sure about the sauna in the men's room, seemed like there was a fire or something right above the door. Nonetheless, the gym was well equipped. I enjoyed my stay there, service was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

In the two times I stayed in this hotel, I did not receive the wake up call as requested. Otherwise I love the nice change from the large chain hotels from the unique urban chic decor, great bed, and warm touches to offset the industrial look. A bit hard to find and the GPS was not accurate.

Very modern aesthetic. Small rooms. Clean, comfortable. Try to steer clear of the rooms above the bar- speakers bleed through to the rooms directly above. There is a solid weekend crowd in that bar having some laughs and they crank the music. But this place is very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. Good restaurant. I have stayed there twice so far, and would visit again for sure. Location was super convenient to my business in the area, but it is surrounded by a huge mall, and if you are a tourist it might not be your cup of tea. Not a good "let's go out for a walk" kind of area. That said- again- I would stay there in future for sure. It is a solid choice.

Everything was just perfect! Cool semi-circular shower, very comfortable bed, HD TV, sliding bathroom door. Staff exceeding accommodating. Printed my boarding pass, provided shuttle to and from the airport.

Room was very difficult to control temp. & did not like that the bathroom wall was open at the ceiling level. Bed was one of the most comfortable We have slept on.

The hotel is close to the a mall, and airport. The entire design and set-up of the hotel is fantastically modern, but yet very warm. The staff was very helpful, and they had an awesome bar/restaurant down stairs, with a great drink selection! Additionally the gym in the hotel is very nice.
