Barry's Hotel - דבלין

hotel is very basic but offers good value if you just want a bed for a night..I have stayed in most grades of hotels in USA from 2 star Days Inn to Westins and Bellagio and I find that the lower grade hotels in Ireland are generally far better than the 2 star hotels in USA..particularly those in the Southern states.

One of the largest rooms I have stayed in in recent times. The bed was large yet quite soft

we werent happy at all....room was so old lookin,,,noisy floorboards,,,,staff not very nice..wont b back there again...

Not a 5 star hotel, but definetly good value for your money. Excellent location, comfy beds and tea/coffee facilities in room.

staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was reasonable and good value.

The room was clean and comfortable. The night porter was very helpful, and the hotel is 2 mins walk from O'Connell St.

Do not stay there one step up from lap danceing club filthy and very seedy

It was clean but the TV had no remote control.

You got what you paid for. I wanted something cheap and so my stay reflected that. It was old and basic, there were cigarette burns on the bedside table ans the toilet handle was loose....but I was ok with that because it was warm and clean.

very convenient to our buisness site. An old hotel, it's a converted Georgian house afterall, but very clean, helpfull staff and an excellent breakfast. The cost was very reasonable. We have, in the past, stayed at nearby "Big Name hotels" which cost more and did not provide as good value for money.

We had two nights in Dublin before returning home. Every hotel was full.Barry's gave us the option of staying close to.everything at a bargain price We opted for the full breakfast, it was good in a charming breakfast room. The front desk seemed short staffed and requests took a long time because of that. The linens were clean and beds comfortable. No elevators if that is a consideration and.street noise is a.given at the front of the hotel.

We love the staff exurberance. They try to make the stay pleasant.

not good the worsehotel i ever stayed in

When we arrived at the hotel we found that the bar and nightclub were closed down and the hotel itself had seen better days, it wasnothing like what was advertised on the website, in this respect we were not satisfied at all, however it was just for one night and it was late in the day so we did not really complain. There was only a receptionist working the entire hotel also, anyway the room was very clean and the hotel was fairly quiet. The corridoors and general landlord area's were very shabby. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay there again, I would fork out the extra few euro to stay somewhere else.

Room was very dated. Mould and odd stains on the wall, what looked like blood on the ceiling. Tiny room. Bed had seen better days... Not nice at all. Wasnt hugely dirty, just dated and poorly finished.

Altogether, there's not a bad thing to say for barry's hotel. The price was incredibly low, the hotel is VERY central, (though we had some problems finding it, not having taken care enough as to note ourself the address of the hotel), the hotel was quite pleasing to the eye (especially considering what we paid), but above all the management and staff were incredibly kind, caring and welcoming. Absolutely a hotel i recommend.

Cheap an cheerful, friendly staff...don't be evicting luxurious hotel, that it's not...but it's clean and comfortable, great location, offers breakfast etc in its own bar...hard to fault really, especially as some deals can be ridiculously cheap. Recommended!

The front desk staff were very friendly and offered us an umbrella when it rained outside but the condition of the hotel in general was shabby. I wouldnt stay again.

I was visiting a friend in the Mater hospital so I just needed a cheap hotel within walking distance and I was perfectly satisfied with Barrys Hotel. Due to the rate I didnt expect a huge room but I was pleasantly surprised at my room It was of a good size, roomy , clean, with a double bed, full bathroom , toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. The room was warm once I turned the radiator on and I could regulate the temperature myself. I also ate an evening meal in the bar and had my breakfast there and both meals were good and very good value. The staff and clientele were friendly and I enjoyed a game of pool with one of the other patrons.

CHEAP, COMFORTABLE AND VERY CENTRAL TO CITY CENTRE. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ROOMS VERY CLEAN, IF A BIT SMALL! MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT MY KETTLE DIDN'T WORK!

The only positive thing about the hotel is the location.

While staying there they were painting it, but a lick of paint won't solve its problems. There were cracks in all the walls, it needs updating badly. The tv reception was bad.

Hotel was old and room run down with only basics and bed that u only had to look at to see the big dip in centre. But the staff were lovely and very friendly. The only thing we were really unhappy with and quite annoyed at was 11 in morn (check out 12) the staff came in door, when we were lying on bed naked. We had a do not disturb on door , was not check out time and they did not even knock door before they entered. Not on at all and that alone ruined it all. Before that it was the friendly staff that made the hotel for us, especially the girl who served breakfast.

Den var mycket bra. Personlaen var trevlligt och det låg inte långt från centrum. Det enda negativa var att när vi anlände och gick in på rummet var det ostädat. Strax därefter dök städerskan upp och blev mycket sur och hetsig över att vi var inne på vårt rum, fast receptionisten sagt att vi kunde gå in i det. Vi sa till städerskan att vi bara skulle ta våra jackor och lämna rummet så att hon kunde städa, ändå blev hon sur över detta och utrbrast "you have to leeeeeaaave now!!!!". Övrig personal var dock mycket hjälpsamma och trevliga:)

Un poco destartalado pero en general habitable. Lo peor es que la WiFi no llega bien a todas las habitaciones y la cama, y lo mejor que el personal te atiende correctamente, y la ubicación.

Personnel agreable, breakfast pas cher du tout et tres copieux!Emplacement ideal, a 5 minutes de spire a pied et dans une rue calme. Seul petit bémol, le wifi ne passe pas dans la chambre, mais vraiment tres bon ptit hotel

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable dans cette hôtel, le patron et les employés sont très sympathiques et arrangeant. Attention les places de parking devant l’hôtel sont payantes.

Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings nicht sehr komfortabel. Gratis Wifi (im Eingangsbereich) und freundliches Personal. Gelgen ist das Hotel gut, circa 15 Minuten zu Fuss ins Zentrum und schneller Anschluss zum Flughafen. Preis/Leistung stimmt, für Reisende mit kleinem Budget weiter zu empfehlen.

Pas trop mal, les chambres sont petites mais bien tenues, la salle de bain est en revanche trop étroite (le lavabo est enfoncé entre 50 cm de mur l'accès n'est pas pratique). L’accueil est correcte sans plus. Ne comptez pas sur les bon plans de la réception. Bien situé un peu à l'écart du centre ville et au calme.

Snaut nok ok til det. Bør nedgraderes til hospits.

Pessimo albergo lo sconsiglio. Servizio scadente, pulizia lascia a desiderare . Avevo chiesto se mi svegliavano presto la mattina perchè avevo il volo di ritorno presto ma non è stato fatto per fortuna mi sono svegliato da solo altrimenti perdevo il volo. Alcuni mobili mezzi rotti.L'unica nota positiva il letto comodo

Einfach nur schlecht in diesem Hotel. Da ist alles andere noch besser. Einfach nur schlecht!!!!!!! Eine Lampe hat am Anfang nicht funktioniert. Sauber ist anders als in diesem Hotel. Gar nicht freundlich.

Sind viele günstige Hotels gewohnt, aber hier hätten wir lieber 10 Euro mehr investiert für ein Hotel mit sauberem Zimmer.

Veldig bra hotell alt i alt, ligger i hjertet av Dublin, ca 5-10 min gå tid til der ting skjer. Veldig hjelpsomme på hotellet og hyggelige. Billig hotell med tanke på at det så nærme sentrum. det var en del opp og ned trapper for å komme til rommet, men det kommer helt an på hvilket rom man får.

Hotel confortable et bien situé (tout prés de Parnell street où arrivent les bus de l'aéroport,...). Quartier tranquille. Juste ce qu'il faut. Hotel suffisamment propre et personnel arrangeant. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Okay hotel, god central beliggenhed, god betjening.
