staff very friendly and polite and helpful

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting friends in the area, the bed was so comfy, I almost didn't want to leave the room! Staff were so friendly and welcoming, a credit to the company

Located right off the motorway and with easy access to Warrington, we both found this hotel very comfortable and with all the amenities required. Nice comfortable night's stay and friendly staff - what more do you need?

Not terribly impressed I'm afraid. £8 for a glass of wine!! Flat prosecco and served in a wine rather than champagne glass...all a bit shoddy. Breakfast sparse and greasy - at no point did they have the full hot buffet on display- always something missing

Great little hotel in a nice quiet place but close enough to the town centre. Good customer service :)

I have stayed at this particular hotel on a couple of occasions and each and every time the staff surpass themselves. Nothing is too much trouble and have information readily available should you have any queries. The rooms are perfectly lit and spacious together with comfortable bed and a choice of pillows to suit everyone's taste - a perfect place to stay - home from home.

i was very please with our stay except for one thing. we booked and paid for breakfast. we were told by the receiptionist that breakfast was served between 6-30 and 9-30. we got up in the morning and went to breakfast at 7-30 as we were traveling on up to scotland. on going for our breakfast we were told that cooked breakfast was not served until 8-30. so we had to make do with a bowl of cornflakes and a cup of tea. i feel this was the only let down.

Upon arriving at reception the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. The room was immaculately clean and perfectly sized with a fantastically well lit bathroom with all working amenities - faultless - definitely will be staying again.

enjoyed my stay but at the breakfasts we were always waiting for something weather it was eggs or bacon etc .i would have liked to know before or at least when i booked in that i was being alocated a discabeled room.the sink was very low to use and the toilet was very high.

Clean and pleasant place for a short business stay.

Terrible. I think due to the fact that I used premium reward points to book this room, I was probably given the worst room in the hotel right next to the elevator. After ten hours of driving I couldn't sleep because of the constant noise. What made it worse was when my key card stopped workingworking I had to get a member of staff to escort me to my room each time just to open the door.. terrible stay.....

Very good service, easy upgrade if you have the intercontinental ambassador card, good staff at the restaurant.

Cleaning service was very noisy even at night. Very expensive internet - cheaper to use mobile phone.

it was only a one night stay but very happy with the quality. restaurant a bit too expensive

Had a good stay. Very close to motorway which means it can be noisy if you like the window open otherwise all good

Hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff and modern. The only bad thing i could say was that i booked a kingsize room only to be told on arrival that they only do doubles and do not offer king as stated on this website.

I spent two nights during the half term holiday last week with my two children. They loved the room and want to know when we are going to stay again. I spent the two days with a friend who lives in the vicinity. We went to Old Trafford and also shopped in the Trafford Centre. Avery pleasant stay and I know I will be back in a few months, yes with kids in tow.

Pluses: Hotel restaurant was quite good for dinner; Breakfast is a good buy if you pre-purchase the day before; Hotel staff was generally friendly except the bartender who couldn't be bothered with food; bathroom in hotel room was clean, fixtures were in food shape; Minuses: VERY limited service after 11pm (bar open, restaurant closed... I bought a turkey on white sandwich bread and potato chips for 17 GBP because I was starving and nothing else is close by); Location - without a car, you have to call a cab or take a 15 minute bus ride into town; Beds- very shabby comforters, mattresses were hard and uncomfortable; hallways smelled moldy or musty

rool facing the car park and road, so rather noisy room service took more than 1 hour to deliver after chasing... checkout double charged the room enough said

Clean, tidy, convienient location with pleasent staff.

the location of the hotel next to the M6 in Warrington is excellent for access to manchester Liverpool the lancashire coast Cheshire and Chester. Plentiful parking and a nice bar and resturant. Ther bar is on the small size but good range of drinks and the resturant is ok for a budget meal. The starters are over priced for what you get but the mains are good value. Hotel is spotlessly clean and quiet with the last gripe is the charge for internet access. Most places offer this for free and have cheaper rooms. There was a mistake with the bill but this was rectified with the minimum of fuss. All the staff were excellent and appeared happy to help with any request we made. This is not much more expensive than a travel lodge but a lot better quality

Stayed one night at the Holiday Inn in Warrington. Got a good price for a family room. Staff was nice. Room not very big, and double beds somewhat smaller than ideal. Still, what you'd expect. Breakfast buffet not very impressive, but OK. Location is good for those travelling by car (we didn't!)

Un hôtel tout ce qu'il y a de plus impersonnel situé à une sortie d'autoroute : impossible d'envisager un autre moyen que la voiture pour en profiter, ou pour fuir le restaurant pour aller dîner ailleurs. Mais il faut reconnaître que c'est parfois bien pratique lors d'un trajet. Ce Holiday Inn est relativement moderne pour la chaîne et les chambres sont comfortables. Notre note globale est basse parce que l'hôtel a accueilli un enterrement de vie de jeune fille durant l'une des nuit de notre séjour : DJ nul, cris et gloussements jusqu'à 11h du soir passés ne nous ont pas aidés à passer un début de nuit très agréable.
