From the moment you arrive, you know you are going to enjoy this stay. The hotel is easy to find, in the best location (for walking, for driving throughout the area). The staff are unsurpassed and the restaurant worth visiting numerous times. Breakfast is wonderful as well. I am already planning our next visit and look forward to returning to a magical area.

I was quite impressed on my first trip to Aix. The Roi Rene is one of the better hotels in town, but I would only rate it an average of 4...the site was quite convenient and clean, the room was small, the service was good, the food was uneventful...so it was OK, but not an outstanding experience. Later in the trip, I did stay at a few 5 stars, and the difference was quite distinct.

Wonderful Hotel in a very pretty part of France, Location of Hotel is 5min walk to the centre of town, which had a lovely crafty market on the Sunday. Hotel has its own pool with towels and great waiter service for drinks. Restaurant is good with Breakfast on the terrace. Service at Reception is great, general overall service at this hotel is one of the best I have ever seen and I travel monthly.

It was too short, but this lovely hotel allowed us to make the best use of our time. The hotel was most elegant, the service was excellent and the restaurant with its delicious and well served food made our stay there a perfect visit in Aix en Provence.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and roomy. Five to ten minute walk to center of town. Beautiful pool and breakfast area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thursday mornings the town has an amazing street market worth going to.

An elegant hotel just a few minutes walk from Aix center. Staff was very helpful. The beds are so comfy it is hard to get up in the morning.our room was small but we got it at a greatly reduced rate so no complaints.

the glasses in the bathroom were not washed. The pyjamas were thrown

The food service at this hotel is superb and the hotel is clean and well situated. Somewhat disappointing, however, is the rather small size of the rooms considering the prices charged.

The classic room felt like a train compartmnet, well designed but small. The hotel staff were inexperienced and gave us an incorrect google information for our trip to Nice, they had us taking an ancient corniche road that took us off the grid. It was very frustrating to be be so misinformed, even after supplying them with the address of our next hotel. The location was very nice, even on a bus line and walking distance to the Cours Mirabeau.

Very good location with nice rooms and a great pool. Really helped make our stay in Aix quite wonderful.

Good facilities at this city hotel. Swimming pool and outside areas were well maintained. Food and staff in restaurant were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A very nice hotel with extremely comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Just on the edge of the centre of Aix, so ideally located. We skipped breakfast which seemed very expensive, opting for a cafe nearby. We did eat in the restaurant one evening where the food was not of the highest quality and the service a little too attentive. Overall it was poor value for money and you would do better selecting one of the many other eating options available in this beautiful city. Apart from the restaurant, this was a very pleasant place to stay.

Very good (but expennsive) hotel and close to the senter.

A really lovely hotel in a very convenient area of Aix-en-Provence. The breakfast buffet was lovely, the service excellent and the entire staff was helpful and friendly. Three excellent restaurants were recommended to us and we enjoyed them all. The hotel is just 3 blocks from the Cours Mirabeau and around the corner from beautiful parks. It is also just a few blocks from the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel

Nicely walkable to the old city area (which is pedistrian) Clean and friendly.

We found the Grand Roi Rene to be a nice splurge at the end of our stay in France after hotel hopping through Provence. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was relaxing, and the location was great, just two blocks from the cafe-lined main street.

This hotel is in a convenient location. Rooms are comfortable but could do with a redecoration . Female check in staff very unfriendly and do little to assist visitors with information on the area.Concierge and other male staff very helpful and go out of their way to assist.

Muy buen servicio, la verdad es que un muy hotel para quedarse.

Ein sehr gut gelegenes, gepflegtes Stadthotel, das sich vermutlich an Geschäftsreisende mit wenig Gepäck richtet: Wenig Ablageflächen für Kleider für zwei Personen auf längerer Ferienreise.

Hotellet är familjärt och mysigt med bra service och en bra frukostbuffe. Lite tafflig personal då och då. bra läge i Aix-en-Provence. Men bor man mot gatan får man räkna med störande trafk dygnet runt. Hutlösa priser för parkering 17 Euro per dygn.

Jos kaipaat hieman ylellisyyttä matkaasi ja olet valmis maksamaan siitä, tämä on hyvä valinta Aix-en-Provencessa. Matkaa hotellilta kaupungin ytimeen noin 500 m. Muista varata autopaikka ennen saapumista, muuten joudut parkkeeraamaan P-taloon noin 200 m päässä ja maksamaan siitä.

très beau séjour, malheuresement trop court

Nous avons adoré la décoration de l hôtel, très feutrée. La chambre coté rue était très silencieuse, et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était excellent , tres varie et très copieux. Nous n avons jamais pu prendre les plats chauds qui nous étaient proposés. Pour un prochain séjour aixois, je réserverai à cet hôtel sans hésitation.

Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Servicegericht personeel. Niets is teveel gevraagd. Mensen doen alles om het je zoveel mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Ideale ligging. Alles is praktisch aan te lopen. Ga er vaker boeken. Jammer dat alleen KLM op Marseille vliegt vanuit Nederland.

Beliggenheden er super. I gå afstand til centrum. Lige som vi gerne vil have det.

Bon Hotel, Dans l'ensemble tout s'est parfaitement déroulé, une chambre au calme, un hotel extrêmement bien située, une piscine sympa mais sans plus. Le seul bémol, c'est le petit déjeuner, le service est assez désorganisé, le personnel est pourtant nombreux mais dans l'ensemble on attend toujours le réassort.

Super freundliches Personal, tolles sauberes Zimmer, super Service. Klasse Frühstück. ZU wenig Liegen am Pool. In ein paar Minuten ist man im Zentrum. Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen.

Bonjour, je suis très déçu de ce "Grand Hôtel" 4 étoiles. Bien que partiellement rénové je suis choqué par la vétusteté de la moquette dans les couloirs et les chambres, par les meubles et menuisieries en aggloméré film plastique immitation bois, par la taille minuscule de la chambre DELUXE, par la terrasse "privative" qui donne sur la terrasse commune pour toutes les chambres du premier étage, par la hauteur sous plafond réduite et étouffante pour une personne de 2m, par la ventilation en panne dans les WC et SDB, par un garage limité à des voitures de moins de 1.8m de hauteur, par un accès compliqué à la piscine, pas l'absence de serviettes à la piscine après 18 heures, etc. Hôtel à éviter si les attentes dépassent le stricte minimum.

Hôtel très bien placé, propre, petit déjeuner extraordinaire. Chambres assez petites, service de chambre fait vers 17h (!)

Parkplatz am Haus und Tiefgarage, Bushaltestelle direkt am Hotel, Cours Mirabeau zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar, Personal freundlich und bemüht. Preise für Zimmer allerdings etwas überzogen. Man ist auf die Klimaanlage angewiesen,da mit offenem Fenster zu viel Lärm, auch bei den Zimmern zum Innenhof durch den Restaurant/Bar-Bereich im freien und durch Abluftrohre/Gebläsegeräusche.

Aangenaam hotel zeer centraal gelegen, alle accomodatie voor goed verlof is aanwezig. Taxi naar TGV zou beter door shuttle van hotel gedaan worden. Wij hebben 24 h. op voorhand taxi besteld en toch had hij 20 min vertraging en dit had minder aangename gevolgen gehad.

Hyggelig, komfortabelt hotell med en velholdt pool, og ypperlig beliggenhet i nært Cours Mirabeau. Parkering i underetasjen, alt ble tatt godt hånd om.

Vi hadde fine dager på dette hotellet. Bare 5 minutters gange fra hovedgaten. Fint basseng inne i atrium.
