Friendly service, comfortable rooms,great food at both dinner and breakfast.

Used 3 rooms at the hotel for a base while working at Aintree. The rooms were really comfortable and much better than I expected from the budget. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly and their food had a real home-made feel. Would have no hesitation is using The Rufford again!

The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and adequate. Surprisingly quiet being adjacent to the main A road. Food was good and the menu varied.The only negative was the Breakfast. Rather a steep price for a few pieces of melon.

Very good restaurant, nice room - beds could have been a bit more comfortable, but good value for the money.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. We had guests for dinner - we all enjoyed the excellent food and attentive service. Breakfast the next day set us up well for the journry home.

Used the hotel for business as close to company I needed to visit. German colleague really impressed with room, food and service - very friendly & helpful staff. Would be great base for touring this area.

The hotel was of a high standard for the price. Food was very good. Breakfast was cooked to order which meant that it was piping hot! We would have liked better quality towels and bath sheets rather than bath towels. Staff were very helpful and efficient.

My wife and I stayed over for the weekendto visit our family and celebrate a birthday. The hotel was very helpful and friendly especially Sue. The breakfast was delicious and we found the Brasserie added to the atmosphere of the place although we did not eat there. Perhaps next time though. Loved it!

We were very impresssed with the friendliness of all the staff who went out of their way to be helpful on every occasion. The food was good and had some local delicacies. They accommodated a party of 13 of us for Saturday night without a murmur and at very short notice and with no grumbles. Worth a stay here and we will go back
