Holiday Inn Express Liverpool-Knowsley M57, Jct.4 - ליברפול

The Holiday Inn Express is exactly as expected--clean, standard rooms with breakfast included. The bed was comfortable and the only complaint about the rooms was that it was very easy to hear other guests passing by down the corridor--but this is relatively common in big-box hotels. The location is great if you are travelling by car, but not if you are reliant on public transportation of any kind.

Liverpool is way to far away from Knowsley. You will have to take the bus 19 or 14 to the city centre for about 40 minutes, and this is not a short time. However, except that, everything was so good. Their breakfast was nice and concise, and everyone was kind.

Noise from the motorway was constant all night so ask for a room facing away from it. Apart from its no where near anything stuck in the middle of nowhere - I might have mentioned nowhere! price is too high for all-be-it a comfy room, in the middle of nowhere.

Perfect for me as I was training just down the road. If I was away to see the sights and nightlife I would probably pay a bit more and stay nearer the city. You really need a car/bus/taxi if staying here. The free parking can help with decisions though.

we had an awful stay, we got to the hotel at 630pm and there was two people on shift in the whole hotel! we checked in fine eventhough my name was spelt wrong!! but as we got to our room we couldnt get in to the room because the lady on reception didnt activate it we went to her 3 times befor she could be botherd to make it upstairs and help us! when we fineally arrived in to the bedroom (1 double & 1 sofa bed) we said to the lady of reception where is the sofa bed? she replied, !you have to set it up your self" she then returned with the bedding and said to us she cant make it as its !not her job!!!! completly gobsmacked by the way we got treated by your staff and will not be staying again!!! apart from that my friend really enjoyed her birthday weekend in liverpool!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ideal for start of day. As i know the area buses are available from stops about 400yds away. But ideally you need a car get around if you are limited mobilitywise.Talking to other guests taxis were reasonable and so was the bar. Some good pub/restruants within easy driving distance.

Over all not good Our bedroom window would not close properly. There was a roll of tinfoil on the floor under our bed when we got in. The hotel did not offer evening meals. There was no bread for breakfast on one morning, both mornings the food was cold. The staff were friendly & helpful

Everything was very good indeed.

A very friendly place to stay very clean rooms all the members of staff i met were professional good at there work and so helpful and best of all being an early riser it's so nice to get a breakfast at six twenty in the morning ten out of ten is my score

Very pleasant except the beds were not very comfortable

Two weeks of travelling and staying in a different hotel each night is the basis of comparison for this stay. I have to say: I found the staff and service EXCELLENT! There was absolutely no issue with the room, breakfast was enjoyable, and the ability to sit in the lounge after check out time (until I received a call from friends to know where to meet them) - was the icing on this very enjoyable stay... I enjoyed it so much, I will definitely be checking holiday inn availability before any other hotels - and hope they are all up to the standard of this one.

Very good value. Breakfast was impressive for the cost and we were 5 mins from Knowsley safari park. Would definitely stay there again.

Closest pub is more than a mile away making it necessary to take a taxi at all times. No lunch or dinner served at the hotel, you have to order from two specific takeaway places which serve things like kebabs, burgers, pizza and curry. Hardly the kind of food you want to be eating on a three night stay. These takeaway places apparently only open at 4pm making them unsuitable for lunch anyway. I'd avoid staying here if at all possible unless travelling by car.

We would stay their again. Ideal location for Martin Mere Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Centre. For the price it was very good value.

over all a very good weekend would definately stay again

We had 2 nights in this hotel. Staff very pleasant & efficient, room comfy & clean. Breakfast is complimentary and has a very good choice of hot & cold food. Would recommend this hotel definately.

took grandson to watch liverpool stopped overnight all facilities very good the staff were excellent treated me like an old friend made me feel very welcome.the only down side was the breakfast good choice but the cooked breakfast was cold.despite that i would use this hotel again.

Was very disappointed with the location of this hotel - went specifically for a Liverpool match for the weekend so hotel location was very important - I even rang the hotel to check convenience to match loction. We ended up having to pay 20 euro each way for a taxi which gets quite expensive. Would not recommend anyone to use this hotel is going for a match.

Stayed for one night at this hotel on 20th August and found everything to our satisfaction. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Fine holiday Inn, a bit under staffed during busy breakfast time and could do with more food to avoid queue's at busy times rather than people waiting

Couldn't really fault anything about the hotel except one thing....breakfast was chaos. No cutlery, no cups, no plates no hot food unless you waited for it!!

the hotel was brilliant but it was a wee bit out of city center had a wee bit problem getting into town with the bus service everyone gave different information but really enjoyed it when got there and easy enough to get back

Apart from receptionist seemed to have miss placed our booking, the hotel was clean comfortable and with a good breakfast. Staff were helpful. It was Good value for money for a room for 2 adults and 2 children

Four of us stayed in one room and we were comfortable. Everything was good about the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful, there were several recommendations on places to eat. There was even a catalogue with pictures, menus, directions and price information on restaurants all over Liverpool. The breakfast was very good indeed. It was full breakfast with all the usual items and more. The only drawback was that it's far from town. You have to get a cab into town and back. Make sure you call a cab or have one called for you by the front desk. If you hail a cab in town, you will get ripped off. If you have a car of your own, it's perfect. Pricewise, it costs about half what you would pay closer to the city center but if you factor in cab costs, it's more like a quarter if that. All in all, a great place to stay for a fantastic price. If only it were closer to town.

Hotel ok, pretty standard fare. Food was available, but the choice & quality was poor, (I'm sure the pizza that I ordered was a frozen one straight from a major brand Supermarket, for which I was charged £9.95). There also appears to be nowhere locally to eat after a drive round the area as it's basically an industrial park. Overall hotel ok, facilities at hotel and in the area lacking.

Lovley hotel, good rates, very clean, lovley staff would definately recommend staying, & we would defiantely stay again. Only drawback, did not like the back road it is cited on, and you would need to have a car based upon the location of hotel.

Myself husband and our 2 sons stayed at this hotel , we were very happy with accomdation , the breakfast was good , a little far from town ! We went to liverpool to tour tour the stadium / museum , which I would recommend doin . We would stay at this hotel again good value for money .

A easy hotel with comfortale bedrooms. The lighting, not so good, using only desk lamps apart from entrance lights. There was one heater in the room, by the window, which wasnt working, but it doesnt matter because it wasn't old inside. Breakfast was average looking like it was left overs from about two weeks ago, stale pain au chocolate and dried out scrambled eggs. However, the yogurt selection was satisfatory as was the breads available. But you cant complain the breakfast was free. Overall a comfortable hotel, situated 15 minutes from the main town, good if you have a car, not recommended if you don't.

Booked this a but last minute so stayed a few miles from Liverpool to keep costs down. Easy drive to and from city centre. Great hotel for the price. Modern, clean, well priced, friendly staff etc etc.

Used this hotel for our trip to watch Liverpool at Anfield. Convenient location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Basic facilities and represents good value for money.

Away from city centre but free parking and only £8 to game and same to city and back. Room was ok clean and tv but bed on smaller size and you roll together! Good black out blinds. Thin Walls and heard everyone coming back from late night out but may be cos room very close to lifts.

Clean, comfortable, easy parking etc. Everything that's to be expected of a chain hotel of this type. Friendly staff. The takeaway menus in the bar were a nice touch. Would stay there again

God service, god frokost. Men var ikke klar over at hotellet lå såpass langt ute på landet, og at det ikke var så god bussforbindelse fra sentrum til hotellet om kvelden.

Fint hotel til billige penge. Morgenmaden meget spartansk. Lidt afstand til centrum men 5 man i taxa kostede ca 15 £

L'hôtel est correct, propre, les chambres confortables mais éloigné de tout. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas très varié. On a eu une chambre fumeur alors qu'on souhaitait une chambre non-fumeur !
