I enjoyed it; the staff was friendly, the room was clean and warm and comfortable; the shower / toilet was clean and tidy. Good location. Good value for money.

Stayed over while attending college. I had to study at night, lighting was really bad and there was no table or desk to work on. In the evening owner locks up and goes, leaving guests alone.

Clean, cheap and convenient. Clearly you get what you pay and the Mayview is on the cheaper end of the pice spectrum. But would definitely use it again.

The room was in the loft very very very small and hot, not even a desk in it, you cannot open your window and you need to pay attention when you walk if you do not want to bang your head on the ceiling. The room is cleaned and restock with tea and coffee every 3 days and my towels have not been changed at all. The B&B advertise that they use local produce...not true!

I was down for work, but stayed around to catch up with a pal. For the very cheap price I paid I was put in a triple room, so had ample space, and both he (shared) shower room/toilet and the bedroom were very clean, although my towel wasn't changed (I was there for two nights, so not a major issue) the breakfast was fine - not huge, but didn't taste like they were massively cutting corners on quality, and while the woman who was running the place was friendly, there was no forced chit chat, which I sometimes find a bit unnecessary in b&B's. If I'd paid twice the price for what I got I would have been a bit disappointed - and I have done so in the past - for so little a night I was very pleasantly surprised. If I was considering a longer break down that way I would definitely stay again.

Overall the guest house is friendly and comfortable the full english breakfast is ok .Unfortunately when I arrived they were not aware I was booked in and had to find me a room (fortunately they were not full) so I suspect I didn't get a fair view of the facilities.

The bathroom cubicle was a bit of a squash, but ok for a short time stay. Ideally situated behind the Mayflower Theatre, the landlady couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful - a treat!

They knew to expect me from my hotels booking which was nice and easy, the room and bathroom were clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was OK. I got a parking space but it was the last one and was very off season so I would imagine this will be an issue. So thats the positives, on the other hand it is extremely delapidated on the outside and in bad need of redecorating on the inside. my cabinet was held together with tape and saw lots of flaking paint throughout. Had to shoo off two extremely loud crackheads shooting up outside the window but then all the budget hotels on this website in southampton are within 100m of each other so its not an exclusive problem to this hotel. Other guests kept themselves to themselves. Bed rock hard and no milk for brews. Would recommend you spend an extra fiver and go for something better, however you wont see cheaper than this hotel.

was met at the door by Ariella,very friendly,she knew exactly who I was on arrival,I was shown the facilities and to my room,It was exactly what I had ordered,the room was clean and had television,tea,coffee,the bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was exellent,just what I needed to start the day. The guest house is just a few minutes walk from several restaurants (italian,chinese,indian and american style or a take away if that is what is needed. Overall,I was very pleased with its location and the hotel and the service,excellent value for money and yes I would stay again.without hesitation.

Very friendly place, great location and unfortunately I never made it to breakfast to comment on that.

Et noget afdanket sted, der kunne trænge til en kærlig hånd. Men der er rent og der var en høflig forpagter. Parkering var Inkl i prisen og foregik på gaden efter forholdene. Vi prøvede ikke morgenmaden da vi var sent oppe. God beliggenhed ca. 5 min gang fra centrum, det kan ikke anbefales at køre ned til byen grundet centrums forhold med ensrettet og gågader. Der var 2 senge på værelset, et lille tv, elkeddel, kaffe, te og diverse andet. Der blev gjort rent i løbet af dagen. Stedet er glimrende til at overnatte på i forbindelse med en tur hvor man ikke regner med at sidde på hotellet mere end højst nødvendigt.

Arriving by train the guest house was only a short walk away. Also to the centrum of Southampton is less than a 5 minute walk. With the great staff I felt welcome immediately. The small single room with a TV and tea set was comfy and shower/toilet was clean. The breakfast was good and a fine start for a journey to London.

It is OK for the price and clean. Recomended for 1-2 nights. They will ask you about the breakfast and will bring you rations, e.g. två toasts (no more), and things like that. That's why the price is so low.

床单什么都挺干净 就是被单臭臭的有点 不知道为什么

einfache Unterkunft aber großes helles freundliches Zimmer, sehr sauber, ruhige Lage, Nähe Bahnhof und Cruise Terminal, hilfsbereites und nettes freundliches Personal

Bon accueil ,petit déjeuner copieux, nuit bruyante mal dormi ,un groupe de jeunes dans la chambre voisine regarder la télévision et parler jusqu' à quatre heures du matin

A proximité de commerces et du centre ville à pied. Facile d'accès et parking sur place. Tarif préférentiel du parking très appréciable. hôtel propre et personnel accueillant. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'espace wifi gratuit.

Vi blev taget rigtig godt i mod, da vi ankom. Vores værelser var fine og der var alt, vi skulle bruge. Endda kaffe, the og kager. Vi har haft en rigtig god oplevelse og vender helt sikkert tilbage en anden gang. Vi kan varmt anbefale Mayview Guest House.
