Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Breaux Bridge - Breaux Bridge

This motel was perfect for anyone traveling on I-10. I was very pleased with the location, room, and friendlines of the staff. I would use this motel again when traveling.

The hotel is good, however breakfast hall was very small, more tables are needed, and some additional varieties will be appreciated on the breakfast.

the hotel was cheap--the room was very small. Breakfast was a little skimpy. The cleaning personnel were on the lazy side. Hotel is in a good location.

Very clean, conveniently located and very good breakfast. And very good price to boot

Will definitely stay here again..well worth it and an affordable price!

The rooms are small, but they're clean and the hotel is in a convenient location. Fridge in the room is a nice feature, as is the free Wi-Fi. It's not fancy, but it's not priced that way. Good value for the $.

We were in town for one night and only have good things to say about this hotel. Good location. I would stay here again for sure. As for the continental breakfast, it had everything you could want and then some, in particular the local Community coffee!

The rooms were very clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but was the same every morning...so I would have liked a little variety...but again, it was good (and free).

I always stay here when I'm in Breaux Bridge visiting family and the accommodations are consistently great. Wake up to hot waffles and a friendly staff. My brother couldn't book a room and was trapped at the sleazy 8, he was at the front desk begging for a room the next morning and was lucky enough to get a room because of a cancellation.

We reqested a room for two normal adults. We were placed in a single room for a handicapped person. The staff did not seem concerned with the inconvienice we were placed in. The comment made to me by the staff was, "At least you have a large bathroom."

Hotel was just fine for price, just as good or better than other nearby hotels that were priced at a higher rate. Young children traveling with us really enjoyed the swimming pool.

The only hotel I've been to with blueberries for the waffles. Need I say more?

Good quality sheets and plush towels. Really enjoyed it.

I needed a walkin shower as I am Having Knee problems. All of the roll in showers were taken.

My stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

The management was very friendly and courteous. I was awakened at 2:00 AM by the smell of smoke. The Air-Conditioner apparently had an electrical contactor problem. After checking the room for a smoke alarm, i decided to try to sleep. In an hour or so, there was an intermittent noise in the unit like a rat was trying to escape. Of course when I got close to check it out, it stopped. I probably got 4 hrs sleep. I requested, and got, another room for the second night and all was fine.

This was my first stay at a Microtel and it was very nice.

Very clean. My family was with me and the rooms were very tidy and well kept. The location was close to the interstate so very convenient for travel.

My stay was fine however the couch in my room was stain/soiled, which was nasty in my opinion.

Rooms tiny but clean and comfy bed. Hotel a way out of town no restaraunts in walking distance. Not much in town to do although has all the conveniences required for a stay over. Hotel staff friendly but nothing to write home about.

It shouldn't have come as a surprise that a hotel with "micro" in its name had small rooms, but these were even smaller than expected. Friendly service but breakfast left a little to be desired. Rooms are clean but just too small for two people.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are a person like myself that the second hand smoke bothers my eye's,nose, and throat ! Because they don't have like other hotel's that have smoke free room's ! THE ENTIRE HOTEL IS SMOKE FREE ! Esther

I was very impressed with this hotel for the price. Clean, neat, & a nice breakfast with waffle maker. The staff were very nice & helpful. Our window leaked when it rained...not something they could help...they were more than happy to switch our room.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable! Very good breakfast! If you have to stay in Lafayette or Breaux Bridge, you can't beat this place for the price!

Stayed at this Microtel property while in Breaux Bridge for a wedding. This is a new hotel, so the rooms I saw all had a fresh look and feel to them. The people at the front desk were very accomodating--they put our rooms next to each other even though we made separate reservations and arrived at different times. We were greeted by a smiling face everytime we arrived at the hotel from a wedding function. Even though the carpet looked new, the floor in our room had a couple of mysterious sticky dark stains in the carpet. My only other complaint was that there are no lamps in the rooms. Instead, there is a lightswitch by the bed that turns on a very bright overhead light. Overall, however, this property was very clean and well-managed.

The hotel room was small compared to others (the clue is in the name perhaps so we weren't disappointed), but it was clean and comfortable. There was a separate bathroom which included washbasin (unlike many of the cheaper hotels where the washbasin is in the room). No fridge or microwave oven but this wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was the usual continental selection, including waffles but a nice touch were bowls of pecans and blueberries which you could add to the cereals or waffles. The staff were friendly and the public areas welcoming. The only complaint was that our room was not cleaned one day (we stayed for 3 nights). Restaurants and Breaux Bridge were wihtin very easy driving distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel wholeheartedly to anyone for price and quality.

This was a great hotel. Good service. Clean, free breakfast and coffee. But the rooms are really small. If you're okay with a tiny room. This is a great hotel overall!

Never heard of Microtel. Looked up hotels on my smart phone and it popped up first. The rate attracted me as well as the fact that we were very tired and close. But, the HOTEL!!! Oh, my gosh. Keeping the very reasonable rate in mind, I am not sure how they do all they do. The entrance, breakfast/lounge area, hallways, EVEN STAIRWELLS, are immaculate. I am a veteran stair taker, so I see the seedier parts fo the places. But, at Microtel, they arent' the standard gray/white with lots of metal. They are homey and carpet covered. Guess you realized that is a popular "exercise" place. THe room was great. Firm bed. Soft pillows. Immaculate. Roomy enough. Closet space is fine.. Shower and all clean and nice. Only one thing could I complain about: You really, really. really need a small dressing table in the bathroom. In my room there was space to the right of the entrance to the bath. I realize you ahve made everything accessible to the physically challenged, but just a LITTLE table woudl be wonderful. Maybe even a fold out one.. I felt so "I love Lucy" like as I tried to dry by hair by stretching that cord across the room to the sink. Then, to put on makeup, just learn how to balance and catch articles quickly before you attempt that challenge. Well, to stop my speil, let me just assure you that I will recommend MIcrotel to everyone I know. Thank you for a restly night for two weary travelers. Bev P. in Texas

Had sweet people working there, was clean and orderly and had a good breakfast - our entire family enjoyed our stay.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also breakfast was great. Waffles and community coffee were very delicious. Would stay here again if I were in the area.

Nice, new, clean hotel. Perfect for an overnight or weekend visit to the area. Light breakfast provided, pastries, bagels, cereals and waffles. Not many tables in the lobby. though, so you might want to grab your breakfast and carry it back to your room.
