Room was very comfortable with a separate seating area and 2 TVs. Pool and hot tub area was clean and had plenty of tables and chairs where you could relax while watching the children enjoy the pool.

great, clean, friendly, would stay again. only complaint was the woman who knocked on my door earlier than checkout to start cleaning and we were not done with the room.

We would have liked to have had a microwave & refrigerator. Also would have liked a fan in the bathroom. Other than these issues, the room & services were great.

They never change sheets in two days just made up the bed.

room was clean, convenient to highway, pool area ok, towels on the thin side, breakfast was ok, would stay there again

I've enjoyed staying at this hotel previously but this time I tried a mountain view room and it was a treat. I totally enjoyed the couch and living room area and enjoyed having a balcony. It snowed the night I stayed there and I woke up to the view of a winter wonderland. It was lovely.

Although our stay was brief, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. We arrived late and were granted an extra hour before we needed to check out do to the circumstances of my trip. I would recommend this hotel for short stays. We were satisfied with the accommodations and will stay again when I go back to that area.

We stayed here because it was the halfway point of our trip. The hotel was conveniently located off I-81. Staff was friendly, room was clean and bright. The only complaint we had was with the quality of the breakfast. Selections were limited, which would have been fine if the quality had been better. Also,the presentation of the offerings didn't look inviting.

I have stayed here more than once. I love the color-scheme and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice complimentary breakfast. Some rooms don't have hairdryers -depends on the room you reserve. Also, my room didn't have a non-slip mat for the bathtub/shower so I used a wet hand towel which actually worked quite well. The location is quick and easy just off the freeway.

Nice convenient location but needs some attention to detail. The walls of the shower had hair left behind on them, there was nothing more than a sheet on the bed with which to cover ourselves and the detergent used on the linen gave my wife some weird itching reaction.

I enjoyed my stay. It was the 2nd time at this hotel. Lovely colors in the decor, nice breakfast, comfy pillows and a soothing hot tub.The only problem was they don't have hairdryers in the bathrooms so bring one if you need one.

Very courteous and engaging staff.

This little hotel was surprisingly nice, however, if you really want a swim this is not the hotel for you. The whirlpool was decent, but the pool is only maybe 20 yards long. All in all, I'd stay here again.

The staff was most friendly and helpful. It could not have been more comfortable. Great beds, beautiful bathroom, and unto date appliances.

Had king loft with mountain view. Room was excellent.

My two boys LOVED the hotel. My oldest really enjoyed the waffles at breakfast. My husband and I thought the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. My only concern was the rim around the hot tub in the pool area seemed to have mold. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will visit again!

Great Hotel. Nice pool and hot tub. Room was well out fitted and clean. We stayed as a stop over on way to Roanoke for a family vacation. The staff was great.

Great place to stay. Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. Room was clean and quiet. Free breakfast a bonus. Would stay there again.

Excellent rooms, very helpful manager. Breakfast finishes around 9am and the breakfast lady is completely inflexible even for a slightly late arrival.

From check-in staff was excellent. Very good service and friendly. Good location with small shopping area walking distance. Typical free breakfast - well stocked and clean. Excellent value for location and quality.

We really enjoyed our stay...There were only 2 small things we had any issue with. There were no plastic bags in any of the trash cans, which seemed odd and there could have been a couple extra towels in the bathroom. We stayed in one of the mountain view rooms, which was very nice. The pool/ jacuzzi was a pleasant way to relax.

Great price for the service and quality of the hotel. My children enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Very nice stay.

Had to wait for a room, had not been cleaned, and that was at 5:30pm

Stay was very enjoyable. Staff was polite and friendly. Room was clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Local establishments were within walking distance from the hotel. The only thing missing was a Walmart. The added amenity to give guests coupons to local eateries was also a plus. If you are looking for a simple getaway but can't find a decent B&B then this Fairfield Inn is a great alternative.

We loved our stay here - great view, great room, great service. We recommend the mountain view suite - well worth the extra money.

Very nice room. Plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 teens. Only problem was the pullout mattress was horribly uncomfortable.

Our rooms were very comfortable, but we were disappointed because I had booked a hotel with a pool and we couldn't use it because it was closed for maintenance.

There were two girls softball teams (11-12 year olds) staying at the hotel and their parents/chaperones weren't much above that level in maturity. We were greeted with a pillow fight in the lobby, using the hotel furniture as weapons, with the girls screaming profanities at each other, while the parents casually sat and talked on their cellphones. The pool/whirlpool were closed due to these little angels pouring shampoo into the whirlpool and lack of maintenance personnel on the weekend. The only reason I had chosen this hotel was for the pool/whirlpool which I mentioned at check-in and was assured that it would soon be fixed. It was not. Did not get any sleep. The same little angels ran the halls all night. It amazed me that this group was allowed to ruin the stays of other guests and were not put out. I wrote the hotel and while the hotel manager was apologetic, I will not be staying at this property again.
