From the moment I arrived I felt pampered and welcome by the hotel staff. Loved the location of the hotel with so many shops, restaurants and also a gym all in walking distance. I would defintely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel was beautiful. Very nice people at all times. Willingness to help with anything you needed at any time. Only problem with the hotel, were the pillows. They were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, nothing but praise. Will go back next season.

Everyone was super nice and helpful, plenty to do right outside the door.

I did not encounter a SINGLE employee that did not seem delighted to see me. Not the maid, maintenance staff, no one. The food at Flights was so amazingly good that we were surprised it was a hotel restaurant. We are food snobs and it was great! The only negative was the swimming pool and hot tub but the fitness facility used to be a Gold's gym. It was huge.

Was here for an overnight business trip. Everything top notch.

The main benefit of this hotel is the location. The staff was friendly throughout the weekend and the room was clean (good bed) and nice. The decor wasn't anything too fancy, but it the end result was very pleasant. There were lots of shops and restaurants within a (very) short walk of the hotel, which was especially nice because our weekend was a snowy one.

Comfortable airy room with great view. Pleasant helpful staff. Gracious front desk manager that went the extra mile when we had a problem with parking. Very good room service. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel, we are making plans to come back next year

Wonderful staff, great rooms perfect area to hang out and shop/eat. We are going back to Raleigh next year same time, and will definitely be staying here again.

excellent hotel in all ways

I will definitely stay at the Renaissance during all future visits to Raleigh. My only regret is that this visit couldn't have been longer so that I could have explored more of Raleigh and checked out the lovely shops surrounding the hotel as well!

Very nice hotel in a modern open mall with nice shops and restaurants. Convenient to downtown.

I would definately stay at this hotel again. It was walking distance to shopping, movie theatre, awesome fitness center, spas and great restaurants. It was a short cab ride to the downtown area. The hotel was very clean, offered free self parking. Easy check in experience.

From the entry into the hotel until the time we checked out, it was great. Even down to the smell of the sheets. It was perfect.

Very nice. Busy and active. Staff very nice. room and BEDS incredibly comfortable.

The staff was particularly helpful. The location with several adjacent spas, shopping and restaurants was superb. The hotel restaurant is first class.

The hotel was perfect and in a great location surrounded by shops and resteraunts.

We stopped in Raleigh for the night on our way to Hilton Head so we were basically looking for a comfortable room that wasn't too out of the way from our route but at the same time allowed us to enjoy some of the city for dinner and drinks. We were further from downtown then we thought but this was nice because we didn't have to worry about city traffic, etc. and there was PLENTY to do around the hotel, it’s basically connected to a higher end shopping strip. All hotel staff were accommodating and personable from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. The valet was quick and easy, fairly cheap ($14) and the check in was one of the quickest and nicest I ever had, very pleasant gentleman who made sure to mention he would make reservations for us which I took them up on b/c it was very convenient (dinner was a stone’s throw away at MURA, fantastic sushi, expensive but worth it!). As we walked to dinner the gentleman at the front door even made sure to arrange a taxi for later, we didn't even have to ask, they came to us and asked if we needed a taxi at all and when we were done with dinner it was waiting at the hotel for us to take us downtown for drinks (about 10 mins, easy, cheap ride). The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable however it felt a bit small, my hubby and I kept bumping into each other trying to get ready. Also the iron we used pretty much ruined two of our shirts, unsure what happened there but it left marks on our shirts, we should have complained about that b/c I am sure they would have taken care of it, but I forgot. The room temperature was nice which is always important for me, because it seems most hotel rooms tend to be hot and stuffy which is not pleasant for my allergies. The lighting in the bathroom could be better, it was hard to put on makeup in that lighting and while the TV in the mirror was an interesting concept, it seemed a bit pointless. Be cautious of that shower, I made the mistake of entering it before I turned it on thinki

Second time at this property with the same consistent high standards throughout the hotel. Friendly staff, clean from entrance to room, terrific location for restaurants and stores and easy to access. Pool is wonderful, our 6 year old played for hours. Will return again.

Have stayed at this hotel before. Great hotel, great location. Room was not cleaned by 4 in the afternoon! Then not very well. Valet very slow then cracked the luggage carrier on top of my car!!!! We will give this hotel another try. Hopefully just a bad weekend for the staff!!!!!!!

Loved the hotel. The hotel is new, clean and located in an active shopping area with easy, safe access to restaurants and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. WIll definitely plan to stay at this hotel again during my next visit to Raleigh.

facilities are great - gym and big pool next door - and the staff could not be more helpful. there are reasonable cafes nearby for breakfast if you want to skip the hotel stuff. rooms are airy, spacious and well equipped. i would not stay anywhere else in raleigh, and i have stayed in a few but this was my first time here. great and strongly recommended ! (and i'm picky) . If you want to run, make sure you tell them the distance and the staff will help. i ran a short trail and a bit of a disappointment. make sure you bring things like swimming goggles because there is nowhere nearby that I could find that sells them

I recently stayed at this hotel, my husband and I spent the weekend there visiting with my son. The hotel was very nice and clean the staff was very helpful and friendly. I loved the location there was plenty to do with the bowling alley, cinema, and a multitude of places to eat, I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Everything you need and don't need is located right outside the door of this hotel. I don't mean a strip mall...lovely stores with sidewalks, etc...even a multiplex movie theater. The hotel was busy on this weekend but it remained quiet.

The hotel was fabulous and it is at the center of this quaint shopping village. They even had a cinemas. The only thing that was missing was there was no USB plug in

My wife's family lives in the area so we stay at this hotel fairly regularly. It's always been fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly. The area is also great, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Great hotel. Rooms were new and clean. The hotel is located next to an outdoor mall. With lots of restaurants and a Gold's Gym within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

This was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's like their cleaning staff is OCD about cleanliness. The area is perfect for dining, shopping, etc. They have everything (including a movie theater). I travel a lot for sports related reasons, and this is one of the 2 choice hotels in Raleigh that we use. The hotel has an excellent security feature (meaning...you can't get on the elevator unless you have a key). They have the NHL Network (first hotel I've been in where they had the NHL Network). The breakfast was superb. I had the Lexington Benedict (which is an eggs benedict Carolina style w/ a special BBQ sauce and pulled Carolina pork). The mango/peach smoothie is made from scratch from all-natural ingredients. Everything is made from scratch. My friend had the buffet and she was very pleased with it (including the omelet station). There were so many activities to do around the hotel and so many different kinds of restaurants. 3 different Starbucks and a Target underneath. The staff was incredible. They gave new meaning to Southern Hospitality. Their aim is to please you and make sure that you are happy. They check at least 10-20 times that you are happy. This hotel got 5 stars because they went above and beyond any other hotel I've ever been to. I can't get over how clean the rooms were. The beds were extra soft. The shower was perfect too. I could even watch the NHL Network while in the shower...there's a TV in the mirror! If you're traveling to Raleigh...this should be the only hotel you should ever book in. From the cleanliness to all of the amenities in the hotel, and just steps away outside...you'll be more than pleased.

We are local travelers and are glad that even for a night that we went to stay at the Renaissance. It was really nice. The rooms and decor were beautifully laid out. The rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious. The prices were wonderful, surprisingly for the upscale amenities and the neighborhood. It was realllly nice being able to walk to the movies, restaurants, shopping and the sites, and i do not like walking that much in the cold weather. The late night restaurant was a nice plus after hours when the hotel restaurant and rooms service was closed. We could still eat at 1:30am. Me and my family of 4 will definitely go back again :-)
