I would have given five stars, but we made the mistake of taking the tour (sales pitch) for the Welk Resort (timeshare). First and last time we EVER do that type of thing, not even worth the free show tickets we had received to do so. The lodge is beautiful, serene setting, close to the pool area/club house. Room (one bedroom villa) was gorgeous, high end apartment living. 2 fireplaces, full dining room table with sitting for about 5, plus bar stools, back deck or patio, table and chairs out there, two tvs, tons of storage space, Provided kitchen basics and extras: salt/pepper, plates, bowls, utensils, pots/pans, bbq equipment, cookie sheets/cupcake pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full oven, full fridge with ice maker, full dishwasher (finish soap tablets) and palmolive too, stacked washer/dryer (one sample box of surf), trash bags, paper towels....the list is endless. We booked thru hotels.com for two days and extended for two more once there, it was that nice.

The condition of the condo was great. But nowhere in any of the reservation process was I informed of it being in the Welk Resort.There is no signage for the "Lodges of Timber Ridge Branson". After driving up and down Hwy 165 looking for it, they Welk Resort was the only place the street address would assoiciate with. By the way, the street address number is NOT posted either.

The rooms were very nice. We stayed in the hotel for the first night and then we moved to a one bedroom lodge with kitchenette. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is good for shows as well as easy to get to the lake. The only problems for me was that the fitness room was a little small for the size of the place (only 2 treadmills and on elliptical). We did not go during peak times so only had to wait once for the elliptical.The "Splashatorium" is a glorified swimming pool. My 7 year old loved it, but the 11 year old did not. Would recommend this place if you are planning to go to Branson.

Excellent in all aspects.

We stayed at the Lodges for spring break and found the place to be nice and quiet. The room itself was spacious and well kept. Unfortunately we had a few issues with a broken TV, a leaky washing machine and no internet half the time. Also my kids wanted to go swimming in the morning but the pool did not open until noon. Other than that staff were friendly and quality of room was very good

Awesome room!

Room was very clean. Nice to have a kitchenette. The kids enjoyed the water park. The location was convenient for going to either the Strip or Silver Dollar City. Would stay again if we ever go to Branson again.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Room was not showing ready in their computer system upon arrival but it only took a few minutes then we were on our way. Lodges have a nice rustic / modern feel. Great location.

It was a nice hotel with great amenities. They did not tell us that there was no room service in the winter. So we had to leave the room for all of our meals or cook ourselves. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors talking and snoring. We stayed next to a family who had really loud kids! The property is nice but there are some maintenance issues that need to be handled. The room was very clean and had all the necessary materials to make for a great stay. Remember maid service is extra!

Very quiet and a great bargain..Will stay again..

The staff were great- friendly, helpful and welcoming. The lodge was full loaded with everything that we could need and the rooms were designed to inspire family games and activities and be confortable and cozy. The location was perfect- quiet and safe and a short drive to all the Branson activities. There were many activities on site that filled up family time without having to spend any money. Already planning another stay.

Waiting until the last minute paid off for us. We had searched and searched for the perfect room for our annual family Christmas trip to Branson and had been burned many times in the past but this time was a pleasant suprise. We got a last minute deal on hotels.com for a discounted rate. We stayed in a one bedroom with living room and"mini" kitchen. The furnishings were in good repair and up to date, check in was a breeze, room was clean and ready early. We stayed in the Pine lodge and had a view of the pond area from our balcony, everything was really great. If I had one complaint it would be the area was a little small, not what we expected from the pics on the website when booking this particular room. The location of this resort might not be for everyone. It is off the strip and a person would never find it if they don't know it is part of the Welk resort, which isn't advertised during booking. All in all it was a good choice and I would consider this location again for my family.

We had a wonderful stay at Timber Ridge Branson. The room was great and the kids had a blast! The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. The only thing that I would have liked to have had was a full length mirror. :(

Great place to stay for our honeymoon. All the amenities were very nice, especially the full size washer and dryer in the unit. We will be staying there again when we go back to Branson,MO.

We were on the bottom floor in the Pine Lodge and could hear the people above every time they walked, talked, opened/closed doors, snored and other things grownups do when they are not sleeping! They did this all night long and into the morning hours. My husband called the next morning to see if we could get a top floor room or a bottom floor with no one above us, but they were full. We were told to call security the next night if they were loud again. He tried to explain they weren't being obnoxious, talking loudly or playing loud music or tv, it was simply the lack of sound proofing! Additionally, I killed a brown recluse spider in the bathroom, the restaurant is very run down and the buffet was not good. The interior is lovely and unfortunately the quality of sound proofing does not match it. We are not staying here again.

Had a wonderful time. Only down side was finding resort.once we got past that . Place was amazing and the room service was great.

the stay at the lodge was great, but it took us a long time to find it. I pulled it up on the webb and it was the wrong directions. I has no idea it was part of the welk resort. You should let people know this. I finally has to go to the imformation center in branson and they told me to turn in to the welk resort and it was behind there. /A lot of miss communication. You need to fix this.

IT WAS GREAT OUR GRANDKIDS LOVED THE POOL AND SLIDE. THE PROPERTY IS BEAUTIFUL. GREAT LOCATION, EMPLOYEES WERE EVER NICE. ONE OF THE BEST PLACES WE HAVE STAYED AT.

We rented a one bedroom condo (for lack of a better term) that was spacious and more than confortable for our family of 4. There was a queen sofa sleeper in the living room which was handy, as well as a king sized bed in the bedroom. There was a mini kitchen and stackable washer/dryer which both came in handy during our stay. The bathroom was large with a deep soaking tub. The resort has a nice pool area that is great for kids. We ate at the Stage Door for the breakfast buffet one morning and it was a basic breakfast buffet. Overall: we would definitely stay there again.

The room was beautiful but the floors were dirty and there was a mildew smell coming from the bathroom. Other than that, it was nice and the location and amenities were nice.

Hotel is INCREDIBLY difficult to find. Address will not come up on gps. Also no phone number is available to the hotel if you are outside of business hours. Some of the staff was good, some needed major lessons in customer service--borderline rude. Waterside was a hit with the kids, best part of our stay. Undecided on whether we will stay here again.

We had a great time, we have an almost 4 year old and 17month old and had a blast here! You don't HAVE to leave the resort, big water slide (which my 3 year old LOVED), indoor/outdoor pool, splash park, putt putt and more! It was so nice not to have to GO to a pool and GO putt putt and GO here and there. But we were SO close if we wanted to go anywhere! We liked being close the the strip but a little tucked away!

We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay one more night. The resort lay out is very family friendly. I would recommend to stay in the lodges. We have an eleven year old son with Autism and a toddler both who really enjoyed the water park! Only recommendation to resort please update the restaurant, a little dated.......

Beautiful place very comfortable and cozy. Jacuzzi hot tub was a great way to finish the evening. Place is a little hidden but worth the adventure Getting to it.

Exceptionally nice, very clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Timber Ridge. We had a enjoyable stay there. Beautiful yards and private patios were nice.

Had a difficult time finding the lodge as the address on the website doesn't exist except on the resort property. Booked the jacuzzi suite and the fireplace didn't work. The second night the air conditioning went out and became very uncomfortable. Parking was also very limited and nearly impossible to park anywhere near our room. The guests upstairs were very noisy and the room didnt seem to do too much to dampen the sound. I would certainly not spend that kind of money to stay there again!

Lodges at Timber Ridge was a clean , neat , family , oriented lodge. My Wife and I did not use the pool or other amenities but did observe others and they where being enjoyed. Our room or I would say one bedroom apartment was just the right size for us during our one week stay. You do not get roomservice daily like a hotel but it has a washer and dryer for you to use if you need to reclean your towels. We where at home and it was quiet at night with security also. We will use them again.

The room was great - very modern with nice amenties (washer/dryer, flat panel tvs, hot tub, fireplaces, balcony)! Lots of activities at hotel! Kids loved the Spashtorium! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

The Suite we stayed in was so beautiful. Everything was clean and well supplied. We had a second-floor balcony and the view was overlooking a pond. It was minutes from the Branson strip but secluded enough that it was peaceful and quiet. I would definitely recommend the Trail Ridge Suites!

Overall, we enjoyed our two-night stay. The room was very nice and well-maintained. The indoor pool/water slide was a hit with the kids. However, this is not really a hotel - it is a timeshare resort. We thought this should have been specified when booking a room on HOTELS.com. Since it was a timeshare, there was no maid service at all, although I must say the staff brought fresh towels right up when we specifically called to ask for them. The most irritating thing about the resort was the late check-in time (4 pm) and the early check-out time (10 am), which means for a day's stay you really only get 18 hours - and my idea of a relaxing vacation does not include rushing around to get checked out at 10 am!

Great hotel and very clean. Pool was heated. Worth the money. Kitchen was fully loaded with all the things but food that you needed. The washer and dryer was much needed and it was nice to have. My kids loved our visit here. Tub and the shower both worked great with great water pressure and the bed was very comfortable as well.

Condo was new, clean, comfortable, conveniently located (feels secluded, yet close to everything). Kids LOVED the indoor/outdoor Splashatorium. Kitchenette helped save money on meals. Flat panel TV and DVD player in LvgRm. Apartment-sized washer/dryer in closet. Plenty of hot water, and did I mention CLEAN?!? When traveling with my family, I'm pretty picky, and just can't say enough good things about these accommodations!

This was a nice hotel. The only thing I was not thrilled about was that you don't have someone coming in everyday to fix the beds, clean things up and provide more coffee. We stayed two nights and we had one pouch of regular coffee. Nobody ever brought more, nor did I find anywhere to get anymore. The other thing that was surprising to me was that they expect you to run the dishwasher before you leave and also take out your trash to the receptacle outside. If you don't you get charged $50. Really? For the price you pay...I think they could have the cleaning staff do that. Also..the "free Wi-Fi" is a joke. I couldn't get my computer to get a connection in our room and my son couldn't get his device online either. Otherwise, the place seems clean and well cared for. The pool was nice, but they were doing maintenance when we were there (February) and the slide was down one day and the hot tub was down the next day. Bummer.

The location was great! The stay was great! Room was amazing!

We booked, same day, one of the most comfortable lodges and with a great online deal. I did my research on our trip and came across a beautiful lodge at Timber Ridge. Our room was spacious, cozy, clean, and more than we expected! We enjoyed king size bedding, with a fireplace and jacuzi. A large bathroom with multi-person shower, full kitchen, living room, double entrance balcony with great view. Comforts of a lodge yet close enough to enjoy the much entertainment. Completely satisfied and plan to return!

Good place to visit during the off season. This time share condo complex was away from the madness of downtown Branson, but still close enough. The main room was beautiful and a great place to hang out. Unfortunately, the walls were thin and we heard the families with small children on either side of us--all night! Also, the sofabed was not very comfortable. The splash-a-torium was outstanding but was heavily clorinated (ruined two swim suits). The game room was awesome for our small group when empty (one pool table, one air hockey, one fooseball); but was overrun by evening. This place was close to being top notch location, but just misses the mark.

The main thing that should be taken from this review is that this is an INCREDIBLE place to stay. The beds are supremely comfortable. Even more so than what I had previously regarded to be the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in, in a ritzy hotel in downtown Chicago. The two fireplaces are perfectly placed. The jacuzzi is top notch, and was very comfortable. The shower, I still to this day cannot get over the shower. Twin side by side heads, and a "natural rain" head directly above you in the ceiling. Perfectly sufficient pressure, and outstanding heat. Not to mention the shower itself is designed very well. The full kitchen in our 1 bedroom was outfitted with everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. (Tupperware even!) The tv reception was great, the wifi was never down, and always speedy. In short, everything that you look for to be tip top when you pay good money for a hotel -- was. Now -- that being said. I did have a bad experience with the in-house concierge. It was explained to me at check in that the concierge had discounted tickets to nearly all the local shows, and they would help me in a moments notice, just to let them know. Well, when I came in for this service, I first mistakenly headed for the front desk. I was told that the concierge was at the desk behind me. When I walked up to the lady by herself at the desk (doing apparently nothing) I asked her about one of the shows -- "You do know that's an hour away." I did. "Well, I don't have tickets to that. Anything else?" "Um... yes how about this one?" "The tickets to that show are the same if you buy them here or there -- you might as well spend your money there." This is not the top-tier, super friendly concierge I was expecting. Also -- several areas of the hotel were dirty. And not in the 'oops, we must have missed that during the last cleaning', but more in the 'oops we've never... EVER cleaned that".
