Hotel Amleto - פומפיי

The Amleto is a lovely hotel, close to the entrance for the ruins.You feel completely safe around the hotel and it is in an excellent position for siteseeing and also the town's main square and lovely church. The square is really nice in the evenings.Lots of nice restaurants locally.Rooms are lovely.Breakfast is a fine continental selection.The roof terrace is also an added bonus.Hotel spotless throughout.Staff are lovely.Highly recommended.

The hotel is close to one of the entrances of the Pompeii ruins. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions.

This was a fine hotel, however it was far from it's four star rating. The staff was friendly and the room was fine. The location was close to the back gate for the Pompeii ruins, which meant that we didn't have to deal with the crowds at the main gate or the throngs of guides wanting to provide us tour services. The hotel location is not accurately listed on their website, so it was extremely frustrating finding the hotel.

I could not recommend this hotel enough! The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble - their english was great. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel and the room was extremely clean and tidy. I stayed for two weeks, and during that time I was extremely well looked after by the staff! As for site seeing....the hotel is literally a five minutes walk from Pompeii. If you want to visit other sites such as Herculaneum, the train station is about a 20-25 minute walk away. The only problem was that the hotel is very close to the main square in Pompei, which means it can be noisy at night. However, if like me, you are exhausted from walking around all the sites all day, the noise doesn't disturb you really. Overall, this hotel is really first rate and I am looking forward to returning there as soon as possible!

Excellent hotel that I highly recommend. Five minute walk to Pompeii entrance. Beautiful and clean hotel, great breakfast, very helpful staff, very reasonable price.

Our stay at Hotel Amleto surpassed our expectations. It is centrally located to both the metro and the archaeological site, which is great if you are there to study the ruins. The staff, especially Anna and the woman who worked during the day, were extremely helpful and nice. They went out of their way to make our stay at Amleto very special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visiting Pompeii, both old and new.

Not luxurious hotel but gives you everything you need and you re attended by friendly people. location is perfect. walking distance to both train stations (we found this to be very useful) and entrance to pompei site without the crowds. Plus even closer to McDonald and a kids play centre which was great to entertain tired and bored kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Pompeii experience! Rather than just a day trip, the evening ambiance and night life of the traditional Pompeii should be a part of that experience. And no better place to stay than the Amleto Hotel! Old blended with new! The hotel has been recently upgraded so all conveniences and amenities are first rate. The hotel manager recommended a fantastic restaurant and was very helpful with our questions. Absolutely the best hotel so far since we arrived Italy! I most appreciated the secure parking in the hotel parking garage!
