The website does not quite reflect the reality of the hotel. It is portrayed as something more than it actually is. However, having said that, the room was utilitarian and clean and the staff were more than friendly and helpful.

Great Location for sight seeing around London. Close to Victoria tube. Staff all friendly and helpful. Basic accomodation, breakfast was good but thats all we required as we were out all the time we stayed.

Room was pretty bad, but bathroom was worse. Very small...like on an airplane! The "free" internet did not work, but they said if I paid for the "better" service, it would work. The "continental" breakfast was nothing more than white toast and a choice of 3 cereals.

nice hotel, good quality service and nice location, suitable for overnight stay.

Otherwise everything was more or less okay, but during the night there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room - not very pleasant.The location was brilliant - that compensates a lot.

The location was great was in walking distance of everything

For a business trip requiring a bed it was ok. Shower and toilet left a lot to be desired.

some stairs for luggage, fridge and kettle would have been good.

I stayed at Dover Hotel in July 2012, the staff were helpful and very polite and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a couple of blocks down from the metro station and there is a little convenience store a few doors down which was handy. It may not be in the heart of the city but as a value for money hotel it was pretty good. I would stay here again.

small, clean, comfy beds. we came to see london, not to spend time in a hotel room.

Excellent location for access to the sights of London, with a 24-hour convenience store just doors away. The hotel itself is modest. Room was extremely small. To access suitcases, had to drag them onto the bed - not enough space anywhere else, including the floor, to open them. No closet - just a small pole on the wall, with 4 hangers and little space, out in the open. The beds were clean, comfortable. The only window faced the street and rattled with the wind, but we shimmed it with some cardboard. Street noise was extremely loud at night, from both the traffic and people. Good TV, and the wall fan worked. Free WiFi. The bathroom was the smallest space a shower, toilet, and sink could occupy together. It was clean, but there was black mold on the bottom of the door where it was splashed by the shower. No ventilation, so after showering everything in the bathroom was coated with moisture, had to open the door to clear the mirror. To enter the bathroom, had to step over a small ledge and into the bathroom module - sounds easy, but at times it wasn't. The breakfast room was small and cramped. Breakfast was basic, with instant coffee. There are many fine shops serving breakfast a few blocks away. The hotel reception staff, for the most part, was friendly and helpful.

the dover hotel is very good value for LONDON ENGLAND and is well located at city centre. You pay for what you get, and if your not fussy about hotels, want a good rate and dont care about amenities then the Dover is for you. I would do it again.PS there are no elevators so try for 1st or second floors

A handy location, especially if arriving from Gatwick as nearby Victoria station has great connectivity. Breakfast was basic but fine (though yoghurt always warm). Shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold, with not much in between in a tiny bathroom. Ordered a double but got a twin room. 'free wireless access was slow and not so useful.. if you want https (secure web sites) access you have to pay extra - which means no gmail access for example - pretty poor. If you want free access you need a new code per person (kinda necessary if you're more than one using your smartphones for example) All in all, basic room which was small and in need of a refurbishment but clean enough.

This is a ok place to stay at if you prioritize the location.

We were for 4 nights in Dover HOTEL in London. We took a room for 3-with a double bed and a single one. Ther oom was very small but enough for us. The toilet was very very small but we survive.For the breakfast we recieive cornflakes 4 different types, toast with butter and yogurt and jam, orange juice and coffe. For us was enough. The staff was very usefull. Our room was on the 2nd floor-we couldn'n sleep with the windows open- so think about this if you'll be inLondon in the summer days.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Dover Hotel et nous en sommes très satisfaits: l'emplacement est idéal à seulement 5 minutes de la station Victoria! La chambre est propre et confortable malgré une décoration un peu vieillote. Le seul bémol se situe au niveau du petit déjeuner: nous avons eu des toasts avec de la confiture et un yaourt, mais pour le prix petit déjeuner inclus on ne peut pas se plaindre. En résumé, c'est un hôtel bien sympathique où vous serez bien accueilli et idéalement situé.

Gillade läget extremt mycket, sov som en stock i sängen, vad mer kan man begära för ett budget hotell.

Hotellet ligger meget praktisk i forhold til seværdigheder (big ben, westminister abbey, buckingham, the parliment, london eye, alt dette kun 5 minutter derfra). Det ligger 5 min fra victoria station og hvis man rejser til Standsted of tager taravision mod london er det kun lige 200 meter ned af gaden fra stoppestedet. Hotellet er fint, hvis man vil ud og opleve london hverdag. Morgenmad er med i prisen (ikke noget særligt) hvilket er meget rart. Forholdvis renligt og i gå afstand til alt.

Trevligt hotell med det som behövs när man bara ska sova där. Rent och fräscht. Stort rum, litet badrum. Bra läge i närheten av Victoria Station och flygbussarna till Stansted. Wi-fi ingår. Frukosten helt OK. Jobbigt att det inte finns hiss - 54 trappsteg upp till översta våningen! Duschen på översta våningen hade dåligt sprut och var inte alltid varm. Receptionen alltid bemannad. Synd att det inte finns en dator att tillgå för surfing, bokning av restauranger, t ex.

Bon accueil, hôtel un peu vieillot mais propre. Literie très moyenne et petit déjeuner très basique.

Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Für einen kurzen Städtetrip sehr gut geeignet. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein also nicht zuviel Gepäck mitnehmen.

En vuxen med 4 ungdomar som tyckte att det var mycket bra hotell. Bra service och god frukost. Mycket tillmötesgående personal. Ett stort plus för att det var rent på rummet. Vill man uppleva typiskt engelsk miljö, välj då detta hotell. Mycket nära till Victoria station!

Et koselig lite hotell i sentrum av London.Ca 10 min spasertur til Victoria Station.Veldig små rom,men rent og ryddig.Rolig område med tanke på å ligge så sentralt.Frokosten var enkel med toast,men veldig velsmakende.De ansatte var veldig hjelpsomme og vi følte oss veldig velkomne.Kommer helt klart tilbake ved en senere anledning;)

Mainio juttu. Hotellin sijainti ja saavutettavuus/ etäisyys metrosta ja lentokenttäbussin päättäristä on hyvä. Palvelu ja aamiainen toimivat. Huone on puhdas, kohtuullinen, kylppäri tosipieni (pesuallaskin sijaitsee huoneen puolella). Ainoa urputuksen aihe on Internet; mainos lupaa maksuttoman yhteyden, mutta vasta paikalla paljastuu, että OIKEASTI toimivasta yhteydestä on maksettava.

Das 4-Bett-Zimmer während des Aufenthaltes hatte nichts mit dem Zimmer auf der Internetsite zu tun. Wir waren im Keller untergebracht mit einem Minibad für 4 Personen.

Var där med mina 3 vuxna döttrar. Mannen bakom disken tittar knappt upp när vi kommer in. Första intrycket var bara besvikelse. Litet rum, dåligt med förvaring. Fanns inte handukshängare på toan så att det räckte till alla. Smutsigt. Slog ihjäl en kackerlacka.Vi frågade första kvällen om vi kunde få ett täcke till, eftersom i dubbelsängen bara fanns ett dubbeltäcke, vi får en stickig filt utan lakarn och han var väldigt otrevlig. På morgonen fanns det en annan portier han var trevlig inga problem att få ett täcke till. Frukosten som ingick var över förväntan. En smutsig heltäckningsmatta satt en bit upp på väggen i frukostrummet.

Hotellet var bra. Dock så var det en enkel frukost som ingick, rostat bröd med marmelad, yoghurt, flingor med mjölk, juice och kaffe samt te. Ingen continental frukost med ägg och bacon :(.

Basic bed & breakfast, although much better than many of the similar ones in London. It was clean and safe, but plumbing had seen its best days (as if you could not wash the toilet twice within the five to ten minutes). Friendly staff and nice location.

Väldigt små rum och vi hade problem med en toalettdörr som inte gick att stänga. Personalen i receptionen var helt okej. Damerna som serverade frukost var däremot de som fick oss att känna oss välkomna. Bra läge med gångavstånd till mycket.

Sur resepsjonist,møkkete små rom,vond seng, dårlig frokost. Det eneste som er bra er avstanden til Victoria Station.

Jeg syntes at morgenmaden er alt for ringe.Det må kunne gøres bedre,

Om du bara ska sova så är detta hotell perfekt. Sakna möjlighet till Laktosfritt alternativ saknades vid frukosten.

Albergo molto economico per essere a Londra e a due passi da victoria station . Colazione un po' scarsa ma congrua al costo ,consiglio la stanza 32 per il silenzio . Accoglienti e gentili tutti .

各种还可以，在伦敦市区的hostel中算性价比比较高的。 贝尔格莱维街离维多利亚火车站和汽车站很近，对我来说很方便。步行十几分钟就是火车站、白金汉宫和圣詹姆斯公园，穿过公园往西就是大本钟和西敏寺，往东北是牛津街（这个还是挺远的）。这个地理位置还是很方便的。 不过这条街上还有其他许多hostel也很方便，提前预定可以便宜不少。

La habitación me pareció un poco pequeña pero muy cómoda.La ducha solamente hubiera necesitado una cortina más larga para haber controlado que no salpicara el agua.En general el servicio y limpieza asi como el personal muy amables.Volveria otra vez.

Nie polecam. Pokó to klitka, ledwo łóżko się mieści, które ma 180 cm długości. Poza tym toaleta wstawiona jak na promie - taka budka.

Löysimme hotellin aika lyhyen kävelymatkan päästä metropysäkiltä. Hotelli oli mukavampi mitä osasimme odottaa, ja sopi oikein hyvin tyttöporukallemme; pieni mutta viihtyisä huone, mukava henkilökunta ja hintaan kuuluva aamiainen tuore ja herkullinen. Ainoa miinus oli suihkusta tuleva kylmä vesi, mutta se ei matkaamme pilannut ja voin suositella hotellia.

Praktiskt läge för övernattning 5-10 min. promenad från Victoria Station (nära Stansted-bussarnas hållplats), lätt att hitta. Bekväma sängar, lite trångt och lyhört på rummet men rent och fullt prisvärt. Hårtork saknas men vattenkokare + te- och kaffepåsar finns.Två exakt likadana van Gogh-reproduktioner på motsatta väggar men vem bryr sig -det är billigt och bra.

Rummet var litet, men funktionellt. Badrummet påminde om badrummen på Finlandsfärjorna. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Lite trist frukost, men gott kaffe! Toppen läge - nära till det mesta!
