The hotel weren't in the a good spirit. Narrow stairs, cold water in the shower, not that clean room but on the other hand it's close to many clubs, pubs and other fun stuffs and it's cheap.

Very basic room, but clean and tidy. Good facilities in room - hairdryer, tea/coffee and kettle, iron and ironong board. Clean comfortable beds. Perfect for a quick city stopover, and good value for money. Very friendly staff at reception.

I an surprised this was a three star...set in an unsettling road, you climb loads of stairs to get to the dirtiest, shabbiest room ever seen. The scenery is of a concrete wall and the walls are marked with filth. I turned around straight away as there was no way I was staying there.

This isn't a hotel I'd recommend for any extended stay. However, for my purposes (one night stay for interview next day) it was more than satisfactory. Hotel staff accomodating and helpful. Iron and board in room always a bonus. At the prices they offer it's a bargain in extremely central location - fine for short stays but not for family holiday.

I am a young backpacker and since I wanted to have a night off from the noisy and sometimes dirty hostel, I decided to book a cheap hotel room. I stayed one night in Cardiff at ML Lodge and I was satisfied ... because of the price ! The room was ok for the price I paid but it was not luxurious... there was no wi-fi available in the building. This hotel is for people who dont want to pay a lot for a hotel room and dont expect to have an amazing hotel room too.

Friendly, helpful staff who very kindly went to the effort of forwarding something I had left behind; clean. comfortable and quiet room(I couldn't even hear the noise from the Stadium nearby(although it was when Wales was beaten by France...); the only thing which detracted from my stay was the lack of hot water-but one can't have everything, and all in all it was money well spent :-)

It was very basic. Nothing really wrong but I wouldn't stay here again. I needed a room and it was a poplular weekend in Cardiff so prices were higher than normal and prices were rising. For the price it was not good value. I wouldn't go there again.

Lowest price you can find, and you get what you pay for. The room was freezing cold, took ages to warm up (I turned on the ironing board to speed it up), and the shower head was broken and the water luke warm at best. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. But on the other hand, it was really clean, no bad smells or anything. It was very difficult to find the place, and when I found it the front door was locked. Reception is shared with another hotel across the street, but neither of these two hotels have any food to offer. Then again, it is smack in the center of town, and close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, a good budged experience.

Salió barata, pero el alojamiento que se ofrece no puede llamarse "hotel". La recepción estaba en el edificio de enfrente. No había ascensor y el edificio era muy viejo, las escaleras muy empinadas y muy estrechas. Era una tortura subir a la habitación, que estaba en el último piso. Y, además, daba a una calle muy ruidosa.

Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet i Cardiff sentrum, men er preget av dårlig vedlikehold og elendig renhold. Rommet var rimelig, og vi forventet ikke allverden av standard, men dette rommet var noe av det verste men kan oppleve i Europa (?) når det gjelder renhold!

Tar bara 5 min från tågstaionen/busstationen att gå till hotellet. Centralt og helt ok till det priset....

Fantastiskt läge mitt i centrum. Gammalt, dålig standard, hemska trappor. Förutom läget ett uselt hotell.

ML Lodge er et underbruk av Sandringham Hotel i Cardiff. Betjeningen er hyggelig og rommene blir holdt rene. Hotellet bærer preg av at tidens tann tærer. Der er ingen heis og det er lange og smale trapper til rommene. Anbefales ikke til et snobbet publikum. Egner seg for folk som ønske en god natts søvn sentralt i Cardiff. Rugbystadion, shoping og restauranter finnes innen tre minutters rolig gange
