The staff was extremely helpful. When I sent e-mail questions, they answered in a very punctual manner. The common area is quite appealing, and I was very happy with my room (I stayed on two different occasions). I really liked that there is a refrigerator in the room. Quick walk to the historic section of the city, quiet location.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was for the price. Small and very quiet. Located close to cathedral , not in the heart of the center with all the tourist noise. Breakfast was abundant and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful.

The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous in all aspects - I was upgraded to a double room at the price of a single, so that helped. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it provided a very nice environment. They helped me find a place to eat and a taxi, very clean - nice TV, individual climate control, and fridge - I will be returning at the end of July and look forward to it! Hope to be upgraded again!

As previously mentioned, the hotel is wonderful! Modern conveniences, quiet & spacious rooms, fantastic shower & bed, great location ... But the real standout is the staff! Because the hotel has only 11 rooms, it never feels "too busy." We enjoyed chatting with the wonderful ladies that run the place over breakfast or an evening cocktail. There are 2 sister hotels, in case this one's full. But stay at Altair if you have the choice!! Excellent 4-night stay!!

The Altair hotel is a great little place! Well located (2 minutes walking to the cathedral), nice confortable room, top of the art customer service, clean and efficient. the shower was great. Also much appreciated were the free wifi with access code available in the room and free mineral water in the minibar (so that you have no need to spent time checking out if you are on a prepaid). Thanks Altair staff, great job!!

This is a great hotel. Everything is done to make sure of a happy stay. Staff are excellent, rooms are excellent, and breakfast too...what more can l say! Dont expect to get parking on the nearby streets...I got lost driving to local secure parking in the dark. You have to take a sharp left...not bear left...that takes you into a one way system and you will need a sat nav to return. Its then just 4 min walk back to hotel.

Every detail was just perfect! Higly recommended! Just what you need in Santiago de Compostela!

Staff, location and hotel all superb

We spent 4 nights in Hotel Altair early in July. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.The breakfast was plentiful and most enjoyable. The hotel is within walking distance of historical sights, shops, parks, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

A recepcionista foi muito atenciosa e flexivel, disponibilizando o quarto vago antes do horario previsto no check-in.

Proche du centre historique, cet hôtel et trés bien le personnel acceuillant, fais un gros effort pour parler le français, a recommander chaudement
