Casa Cleo - רומא

Stayed for 3 nights April 2013 with my husband, hotel is in a fantastic location just 10 minutes walk from both termini station, bus tour stops and colosseum. Street is clean and safe, ideal for walking around comfortably and lots of nice places to eat as we'll as handy supermarkets. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful, also they did not bother us after check in and left us to enjoy our break in piece. Breakfast was ok as expected, a pastry and coffee in the cafe next door. Only thing I would say is that the bathroom in our room did not have a door instead just a curtain which could be a passion killer for new couples and the b&b is on the 3rd floor so many stairs to walk or pay 5 cence as we did for the lift each time you want to go up to your room. Great stay, we would stay again on our next visit to Rome.

Make sure you get a room with a personal bathroom in it otherwise you'll be sharing with a couple other travelers. You also need to make sure you have the phone number of the hotel on hand as the owners dont stick around all day. Don't bother trying to walk up the steps if the door is open because once you actually get to "Casa Cleo" the only thing you can do is knock and like I said the owners probably won't be there anyway. For the price and location YOU WILL NOT find a better deal. It was a 7 minute walk from the Termini and about another 7 to the Coloseum. The neighborhood was safe and had a couple of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The owners were extremely friendly and wanted to help out with anything they could. Yes your breakfast is a coffee and pastry from next door....get over it! What were you expecting with the price you pay for the hotel? This isn't the Plaza in NYC but you're in Rome and should be out exploring from the second you wake up til you're ready to go to bed! Enjoy!

When we arrived it was a little tricky finding this place. They also provide a hostel 2 doors down. But when we met with the manager he showed us the room to make sure we were happy and we were. The bed and breakfast is in a beautiful building thats well cared for and the room itself was clean, neat and pleasant to stay in. We also received coupons for breakfast next door - coffee and roll and free wifi in our room.

Staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Cute and cozy in a great location close to the Metro. Would definitely stay here again!!

The location of this hotel is great an easy walk from the train station and very close to heaps of the major sights and tour bus stops.

Casa Cleo is a well located Bed&Breakfast. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Being so well situated (close to the Main TERMINI and Metro Stop 'Cavour', and to streets filled with trendy restaurants such as URBANA 47) and with a filling breakfast every morning it was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Rome. It is simple, but clean. The friendly hosts were able to help us locate some specific sites and they made our stay memorable and fun. Being able to use WIFI each morning at breakfast was highly helpful too. I would highly recommend Casa Cleo. Not the Hilton, but definitely value for money.

10 minutes from both the train station and the Colosseum. Basic rooms with air-con, bathrooms lacking in toilet paper and hot water.

We stayed four nights in Casa Cleo. First, be aware that there is no reception desk. The owner work in a café nearby the B&B. But it's closed on saturday afternoon and on sunday. Internat WIFI was included with the room but didn't work. They told us they will fix it, but didn't. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. we found hair in the shower. Very well located, but that's not enough. Not recommended at all.

Nice little place for the cost. Good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty big by European standards.

L'hôtel est très bien placé entre la Gare et le Colisée (à moins de 10 minutes). Le vieux Rome est accessible moyennant 10 minutes et plus de marche, donc ça va. Pour ce qui est du rapport qualité prix moyen mais je ne connais pas le marché du logement à Rome si ce n'est que je sais que c'est cher comme dans beaucoup de grande capitales. L'accueil est très bien, seul bémol les portes peuvent être fermées lors de votre arrivée, un peu frustrant. La chambre est bien décoré avec des peintures de Hopper et relativement spacieuse. La salle de bain/toilette rikiki, et ça manque un peu de fourniture (savon/shampoing). L'isolation sonore n'est pas top. Donc pas mécontent mais pas non plus enchanté. A comparer donc.

O Hotel está num prédio bem antigo, precisa subir escadas até chegar num elevador que necessita de uma moeda e chave para funcionar. O prédio é bem antigo, porém o quarto é reformado, muito bom e o principal é que é muito limpo. Localização também é outro ponto forte do hotel.

Hôtel sans prétention mais très bien placé. La salle de bain et les sanitaires bien que partagés étaient propres. Nous étions dans la chambre 1, spacieuse et agréable. Petit déjeuner très léger mais il semble que ce soit typiquement italien. Rapport qualité / prix très bien.

Chambre donnant sur une cour au calme, propre et à la décoration agréable. Mais service vraiment pas à la hauteur. D'abord, gros point noir avec le petit-déjeuner : vu le prix, seulement un café et un croissant - on commence la journée avec la faim au ventre ! Surtout qu'il se prend dans le bar du propriétaire qui fait aussi office... de dépôt de viennoiseries ! Le proprio a d'ailleurs oublié d'ouvrir un matin et nous n'avons été "servis" qu'à 9h30 après l'avoir attendu 1/4 d'heure sur le trottoir avec les autres clients. Enfin, malgré ce qui est annoncé dans la chambre, il nous a été refusé de laisser notre valise pour quelques heures après notre départ : le proprio nous a renvoyé vers les consignes payantes de la gare. Bref, service clients zéro ! Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel !

Accueil très sympathique, La chambre (avec la salle de bain incluse dans notre cas) très propre donnant sur une cour intérieure donc très calme. La casa Cléo est idéalement située, à une quinzaine de minutes à pied du Colisée et de la ville antique, un vingtaine de minutes du centre historique, station de métro à 200m, et 500 de la Gare Termini... Les gérants de la Casa, et du bar associé sont très agréables et arrangeants, ce qui ne semble pas le cas partout à Rome. Vraiment très bons souvenirs, vivement recommandé!

O hotel possui excelente localização em Roma. Trata-se de um hotel extremamente simples, sem "regalias", entretanto é um local extremamente limpo e confiável. Relação custo x localização nota 10 ! Para quem não procura conforto, mas não abre mão da privacidade e limpeza, é um local perfeito.

Et udmærket lille sted. Man får sine egne nøgler, både til gaden og værelset, for der er ingen reception. Der er meget bakket i Rom, så hvis man vil løbe ture i byen under sit ophold, vil jeg anbefale området nord for Termini i området omkring Villa Borghese.

really nice hotel at the Roman center. this hotel is very near all the intresting sights and it is very nice to come to hotel during day when you are tired. there was also air conditioning in our room and it helped a lot because the weather was about 35'C. couple from finland
