The Sun Inn - Faversham

Very weel decorated room, clean and spacious bathroom.

Our second stay at the The Sun and again a pleasant stay. Food good, bed comfy, located in quaint town. Only inconvenience is the car parking, the cost mounts up

The Sun Inn is firstly a pub with a few rooms above offering B&B. The room we stayed in had a very dirty carpet and was above the kitchen which had a noisy extractor fan running during the day. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was a typical 'Full English' of reasonable standard. A good place to stay for a short visit to the town, but the accommodation rooms are shabby and need some TLC.

The immediate location couldn't be better--a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of this historic town. This was our third visit. The bar staff, who also run the restaurant and serve breakfast, are excellent. As well as breakfast, we met relatives for lunch one day, and found all the food extremely good. It's an old building, so some of the rooms might seem eccentric in lay-out, but everything works.

Any hotel where the reception desk is the bar of an old English pub is a winner in my book! The Hotel is actually a pub and restaurant in a very old building that happens to have about a dozen rooms for rent. The rooms are nicely decorated and quaint with my only complaint being the beds, which were a little uncomfortable, and the WiFi connection that is provided by BT. Full English breakfast was first class and the Spitfire beer was enjoyable.

Hotel was OK, staff very friendly, room basic but the toilet had a pump which made a horrendous noise when flushed. Our room was over the smoking area which meant that it was noisy when the pub was open as smokers gathered there chatting, and it permanently smelled of smoke. Breakfast good, room clean but a little dated and needed refurb.
