Everything was perfect. We liked the area, walking distance to so many areas, the village, gramercy park, lots of good restaurants in the area... we ate at a great Thai restaurant just down 7th ave. But, the crazy fusion restaurant in the hotel is excellent! We had lunch there and were pleasantly surprised that the prices were not astronomical and the food was good. Very good noise blocking windows - could not hear a thing outside. Room was clean, bed was nice, probably the best place we have stayed in NYC and a great price on top of that. Highly recommend. This is now our hotel when visiting NYC.

Great location! The room is fine but a bit noisy in the morning. The elevator was broke couple time while we were there. It took time for waiting the elevator.

Good location, Has a subway line just steps from the hotel door. It's right in the flower district, so it's nice to walk among flowers when getting back to the hotel. Close to madison square garden. Not the prettiest street in Manhattan, but not the worse either. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and spacious for a NYC hotel. Looks like it's brand new or just remodelled. Staff is friendly. Free Wifi. Business center and Fitness center located in the basement. I have no complaints about this hotel. I would stay here again.

The hotel was right smack in the middle of the flower district which was great! In the morning you get to see all the flowers out on the streets and it's bustling with business. The location of the hotel was great for getting around to surrounding neighborhood, Madison Square park and the Flatiron district were a short walk away. The rooms were nice, modern, not huge, but we didn't need it to be. The king bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best. The room was very quiet we didn't really hear any street noise, as we were in a room that didn't face the street. We didn't get to experience the rooftop bar because it was closed. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Good location, good service, clean room but VERY small and TV remote did not work.

We have stayed at a few different hotels in Manhattan and paid alot of money for the same type of room and service we received at Hotel Indigo. This is now our hotel of choice when staying in Manhattan. It is reasonably priced. It is conveniently located. The rooms were clean and very quiet. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

My only real complain is that the "rooftopbar" looks like they just decided one day to close up shop. Great spot and close to Time Square. Rooms are a bit small, but this is expected for a hotel in NYC

The hotel was fine, the staff was completely indifferent to how the stay was. I am not sure if this is because it was booked through Hotels.com or if they are just lazy and ill mannered. There was no information book in my room. You had to go to the basement to get Ice. My TV did not work. I had to call three times to have someone come up and program it to turn on.. sorry for the inconvience, just a look of annoyance. I left something in my car that was valeted... they sent me off to Central Parking "across the Street"... There were three Central Parking Lots "across the street. The one they use was about 1 mile away. They Sucked.

Horrible place and worse service

No problems except there was construction taking place on the street -- got noisy in the morning when I was trying to work. Beds were very comfortable and enjoyed the free WiFi.

Very nice hotel in the flower district of chelsea/midtown. I had no complaints after a 5 day stay. Only a half block to the subway. Not really any decent restaurants in it's 2 or 3 block radius, but a short train ride, cab ride, or walk will take care of that. I would stay here again.

This boutique hotel is an easy walk (even with rolling luggage) from Penn Station. It has a modern uncluttered look with attention to comfort and security. The linens were among the most luxurious I've encountered in hotels and the place was spotless. I didn't care for the sole restaurant - a Chinese-Mexican fusion eatery, but there are so many other choices in easy reach, it didn't matter. Only downside was the 7:30 am start of construction noise next door.

Booked this hotel last minute to celebrate a new job! Unfortunately the room we were given was very underwhelming, the shower leaked all over the bathroom and the furniture felt a little cheap and wasn't wearing well. The bed however was very comfortable and the location was quite good. The rate I paid included breackfast which is basically a poor continental offering from the strange asian/mexican fusion retaurant in the hotel. This completely ruined our stay. The service was appaling, they didn't even have any orange juice or muffins for the eggs benedict on a Sunday Morning. As soon as you opt to pay for extra things on the menu the costs rapidly escalate. We complained to both the waitress and front desk staff but neither seemed to care. Wouldn't go back.

Great location - near Penn Station and subway lines. In the flower district - lovely to walk down the street on a sunny day. Room larger than expected. Warning - there is construction next door.

Calling this a four-star hotel is absurd. It was nothing but disappointing from the moment I arrived, when I waited so long for a valet to appear that I finally had to call the hotel to ask someone to come outside. Even then, he stood by while I lugged all of my bags out of the car into the lobby, with no offer to help from him or anyone else, even though there was a luggage cart within sight. (Same problem during check-out, with three employees watching me stumble through the lobby with three bags and hanging clothes.) The rooms are fine, nothing special. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean. The restaurant looks like it has seen better days: cracked paint everywhere, filthy carpets, disinterested staff. Don't bother. Overall I am very disappointed that I paid a four-star hotel rate for this wannabe boutique hotel. I travel to NYC often and would rank this among my least favorite stays ever. I will not go back.

This was a fun hotel to stay in. The rooms are a decent size for New York, and the staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The hotel's location could not have been better. The empire state building is behind you, and there is a subway station really close to take you anywhere in the city. It was a nice walk or a quick metro-ride to wherever you want to go. There was free wi-fi internet, and they had a computer with a printer to print out boarding passes or whatever you needed.

Went there to get a solid night of sleep. Got 2.5 hours. My neighbors were partying all night and the walls are so think i thought they were in my bed.

My stay at Indigo was very pleasant. Helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant downstairs, nice size room and very nice decorative touch.

The location may not put it in the middle of the top spots in the City. With its convenience to the subway, and its mid-block location, it is easy enough to explore the City, while being able to retreat away from the bustle of the avenues. The room was minimalist contemporary and a good size for NYC. I did not hear much of outside noise, and had good nights' sleep.

I usually like staying off Times Square so I can walk out and know I'm in NYC but this time I chose Chelsea so it would force me to explore that area more. Yet conveniently next to subway stop in case you want to head to the more touristy areas. Great room in a smaller hotel that feels more intimate. I'd stay here again any time.

As expected. Rooms were clean. Staff was courteous.

Nice quiet, clean rooms. Boutique-style - only a round 100 rooms. Attentive staff. Fitness lovers - the gym is tiny.

Good customer service at reception. The person made an effort to find me a clean room to refresh. the rooms are comfortable and clean.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and quite. Great place to stay !

I didn't like that they won't check me in just because I put the hotel in my bf name but u can take my credit card for your 75 hold which I feel was to high and then what's with the nonsmoking for the entire hotel also they made repairs and made a bunch of noise the only thing that's cool is there late night room service otherwise I would never stay there again they suck

I found the quality of the hotel and it's staff to be excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly; the room was very comfortable. I had a minor issue with my TV and a guy was up to fix it in less than 10 minutes.The restaurant on the ground floor China Latina provides the room service and they were prompt and the food was always above expectations and quite delicious. I should also point out that the restaurant itself is excellent and the food is very reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Had an event at FIT and this was a very close hotel to the school. Was very convenient for that, and also close to public transportation. Could get to pretty much whatever I needed quickly. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

I was so disappointed. I could not believe I spent 200plus dollars for this place. It included breakfast but only 12 dollars worth so you spend like 30 dollars more per person for it to be included and you get there an can only have one menu item or 12 dollar credit towards a real breakfast. There are real 4 star hotels in the area that were less money and have lobby's to look forward to going home too. The last thing you want to do is feel depressed in your hotel that you spend 200 dollars on. We stayed out on purpose and spent more money because we were depressed to have to go back to our room. Terrible room and view and bed was so uncomfortable. Room did not even have a small area rug to add some warmth to the hard wood floors. Walls and decor as I said were more like a youth hostle not a 4 star hotel avoid this place and save your money or take it somewhere worth it. In order for this place to feel like it was worth it would have to be like 89 dollars a night. AVOID HOTEL INDIGO

the hotel was nice, very clean. lobby ok.

Nice people. Heater broke twice, had to move rooms in the middle of the night. They did, however, give us a refund, but at the time it really sucked.
