Right in the heart of south beach. Modern style rooms. Price was reasonable for the location.

This hotel is in a great location. Not five star, but most old south beach hotels aren't that way anyway. For the price, it was exactly what I was expecting. The girl who checked us in was nice, and the hotel fully served it's purpose as a place to change and crash while partying in south beach. The bed was uncomfortable, but overall, it was very convenient, and perfect for what I was looking for.

This small studio suite hotel suited us. Economical and close to Everything! No traffic for us. We walked and biked everywhere. No real room service. No complaints. Everything worked and was clean.

The service was very poor.

Its in a GREAT location exactly one block from Ocean dr. Room was nice and roomy very clean..room service was great and receptionist as well ! They all were really nice and informative! I will definitely look into coming back!

I was very impressed with Ocean Reef Suites. The location was absolutely perfect, the room was large & clean. The convenience of having a store & a restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to south beach!

My parents and I were there for the SoBe Food and Wine Festival, and where the events were in relation to the hotel location was perfect. I love that we could basically walk everywhere, and there were plenty of cool shops to go into - all walking distance. The hotel staff was excellent! VERY friendly and accommodating! The room itself - you could tell they tried making it modern, so the decor was fine. The cleanliness of the room, though, could DEFINITELY be improved upon.

Would stay again. No issues.

Great location, very close to the beach. The room had everything needed. Just seemed everything was from Ikea, budget furnishing throughout. The entire bathroom needs updating.

Hotel was under re-construction - which it needed So was noisy and a bit messy, but good price for such a great location, and spacious room. Don't go with high expectations, but worth the price. South Beach is super.

The location was great - located on Collins avenue ( one block from Ocean Ave). The exact location was next to a construction/renovation site of an apartment complex. It is next to a bar and has a "restaurant" attached to it. It is by far a MOTEL, not a hotel. Construction and materials of the room were shotty. Wore flip flops into the bathtub because it was not that clean. Maid service was basically a turn down and light dusting. I was also asked to pay in full up front and told that if I wanted to leave early, it would have to be approved by a manager. I only stayed because everything else was sold out due to Art Basel week. Pictures depicted on site are deceptive. I will post the pictures on trip advisor. NO ocean view or pool or a real valet (some guy will come and take your car to park in a garage a couple blocks away for $25 a night).

Seemed more like a run down apartment and beds were horrid. Worst sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

Not a classy hotel but great location and is a great place to stay when you want to save money for shopping! Gotta love South Beach!

The location of this place was great. The beach is within walking distance. The clubs and bars are also close so there is very little need for driving. The rooms were decently sized. The service was definitely good. The receptionist was more than happy to cater to my needs whether I needed a cab ride out to the airport or extra towels.

Rooms are suites. For the price, great size room and location.

At check-in, the hotel staff person scanned my credit card and driver’s license. That is totally unacceptable. My room had a leaking air conditioning unit, which created a wet spot on the carpet. The temperature was also difficult to maintain. I had a ground floor unit and the staff had let the bathroom window unlocked and open, there was only a broken screen leaning up against the open window. The finishes in the bathroom especially were worn and stained. I found a water bug in the unit. Valet parking is done by a third party that only accepts cash and took twice as long to deliver my car as promised (30 minutes instead of 15). One of the attendants at the front desk was surly. Sadly, the location is wonderful, what a wasted opportunity.

It was a ok, experience, the room studio was not bad, need some repair work, most of the lights were out needed light bows change. Bathroom need some work, updates. The worse was this noise coming from somewhere, it was not the a CD it was something else. My room was 418, they really need to che out that noise. Over roll it was ok.

It was a nice stay but for the price, breakfast should be included as ammenitiy. The room is nice, just noticed a lot of dust in windows and corners, i'm allergic to dust. Overallnot bad for a 1 night stay

Room large, but felt like a college dorm room. Located behind a cigar shop and a money order store. Felt shady!

The bed sheets and pillow was old and had a dirty stain on them.The carpet needed hoovering.However we did ask for it th be change and it was and the floor hoovered.The next time when the pillow cases got change the dirty ones was left on the floor. The staff in reception on the day of check was very friendly and nice. The location was great.

nice hotel for someone on a budget or for someone that just needs a place to sleep and isn't going to spend too much time in the room...comparable to a suit at like a days in or best western or comfort inn....nothing special...but better than a lot of other places around..location is awesome!!!

Batteries in electronic door lock and safe needed to be replaced upon arrival. Staff quickly resolved minor issues with can-do attitude. Wish we could have closed the bathroom window to keep out neighbors noise. Hotel is a block away from the beach and has a cash only Mini-Market conveniently next door. Happy with experience, will stay here again.

it was clean and spacious. staff was very helpful. very good for families with small kids,comes with attached kitchenette. very good location, close to everything you may need in miami. for a price, all inclusive USD 130, we got it at it was a steal deal . could not have expected more.

Except for the hassle with parking (no lot at the hotel and lethargic service from the valet), this hotel was a very good value for its location in South Beach. Just a block from the beach and the Ocean Avenue nightlife, yet quiet. Rooms are well-appointed but small. Nice to have refrig, microwave, dishes and hot plate if your stay will be extended.

I cannot complain. I have stayed in several hotels on South Beach and the Ocean Reef is so far my favorite. The front desk receptionist was very friendly at all times. The room was absolutely great. Free Wi-fi is included, the front desk receptionist will let you know the password upon check-in. Beach towels are also available for the hotel guests to use. It was roomy, quiet and clean. Adjacent to the hotel was a grocery store (which accepts cash only) and a spa in which the prices are reasonable for a mani & pedi, except threading for the eyebrows ...(outrageous). The location is perfect, there are great locations to eat e.g Davids Cafe (my favorite) which is a block away, perfect for a delicious breakfast available 24hrs at an amazingly low price. The beach is a block away. There are a few parking garages also within a block away that vary between $15-$20 a day. Make sure that you do not leave any valuables visible in your car! South Beach is fun but you need to be really smart of your actions cause a lot of things happen. Overall very satisfied, I will be going back in about 2months and will be staying at this hotel for sure.

The overall stay was good but the cleanliness and up keep of the room itseld should have been inspected/maintained better. There were several things that I did not like were: the bathroom floor was not clean, there was human hair on the floor from previous stays, the toilet seat did not cover the entire toilet and was too little, there was a cut in the curtains, the bedspread had a hole in it where the threads came out and the rotating tv wall was broken and we could only watch tv from the bed and the light in the ceiling fan did not work. Also, when room service came, the still did not mop the bathroom floor and the same hair remained. The good things were there was a pantry attached too the hotel, the location was good, quite at night, nice staff and you can book all of your festivities next door. We booked the biscayne bay cruise and miami city tour and it was awesome.

The bed linen smelled like urine. The shower curtain smelled like was covered in mold. The hotel quickly fixed these things, but I still wouldn't stay there again. The bathroom was outdated and the shower faucets were not tightly attached to the wall. The showerhead needed to be cleaned but I didn't ask the hotel to do it because I didn't want to be too finicky.

If you want to stay in the best possible location at Miami Beach for a really good price this is the Hotel for you. The staff was really nice and helpful to. The small kitchen in the suites was really convenient for having breakfast before going to the beach. It will save you some money.

ive stayed all over south beach, this hotel for the money i think is your best bet if you want to be close to all the action. not much noise, easy in and out, comfortable rooms. my only complaint is them not having an ice machine, small investment that tends to be standard in most hotels.

I'm sorry. The room is not spacious at all. The beds are hard as rocks and the futon in the suites are not comfortable at all. The only difference between the suites and the studio rooms are there are futons in the suites. For the price of the rooms this should be better beds. When maid service came around and changed the towels, they changed the towels but forgot to give us face cloths so we had to call every day for some fresh washcloths. They dont have a shuttle service to pick you up from the airport or take you back. The only great thing there was the spa services on site. Other than that I would rate this hotel a 2 1/2 hotel.

This hotel was really nice and the staff was helpful as well. On the opposite side of the road in front of the beach so it was not bad to walk for the price difference. No elevators to the above stories sucked but the staff helped with the luggage to the room. No parking was a downfall but a nearby parking lot (2/3 blocks) that was pay by day was available. You could honestly tell they were trying to make the rooms the best for the guests.

Hotel staff was great. Location is 1 block from all the action of South Beach. Much more affordable than hotels 1 block away! Don't go to the dry cleaner around the corner however as they ruined my suit!
