Riviere South Beach Hotel - מיאמי ביץ'

I think it was a good hotel for the area. It was well located and we received friendly service. I appreciate how the hotel has renovated and upgraded their rooms.

Before purchasing the hotel I called to see how many bedrooms there were and I was told 2. When I got there there was one bedroom with both beds. The only reason we chose this particular hotel was because of the "two separate rooms". We were very disappointed and it changed our whole mood of the trip. Also after using the dishes provided they were never cleaned, just stayed dirty in the sink. Good location but won't go back.

This place ranges between the 3.5-4 star area. It is Great in terms of location, it is literally around the corner from all of the action on the strip. The customer service is excellent and its pretty quiet at night. however, there were a few things that irked me. 1) Majority of the channels do not work on the television. 2) The towels were dinged. im sure they were washed but the hotel needs to replace them 3) The texture of the sheets were slightly rough Pretty much its a hit or miss. If you plan to be outside all day and just need somewhere to sleep. then this is the place for you HOWEVER, If you are the type that likes to relax in a hotel before you actually go for a night out, you may want to try someplace else.

This was the worst hotel ever in such a nice place. The noise from the air condition was so load you couldn't sleep. The bed gave me a back pain!!! They promise a queen bed and I got a double + one single. The shower without any place to put on the soap etc... I pre-paid for two nights BUT LEFT after the first night. DO NOT STEP THERE... should be 1 star hotel...

Small, clean hotel. Great location on Collins Ave but room off street so pretty quiet at night. All kinds of restaurants, bars within walking distance. No parking at all, but garage one block away was $20 for 24 hours. Also shower very small, somewhat awkward.

Really happy with the location. Clerk at reception was great.

I don't have a bad thing to say about this hotel. The staff was great and the room was very clean. Would definitely stay there again!!

Television channels were all snowy. The maintenance person could nit fix the problem. The water in the shower was cold, never got hot enough to step into the water. Basically, showered in the stall without stepping into the water. Quiet and clean room, good neighborhood, poor service. Room had a kitchenette, much appreciated.

Hotel is easy to miss at night so just know where you're going and then make sure to find parking. Room was spacious and comfortable. Newly renovated hotel which still smells of fresh paint. Hot water took forever and nearly gave it up for lost. No amenities to speak of. Overall this is one of many fine options on Collins Ave.

recently renovated and very good value for south beach. comfortable details like kitchenette and exterior sitting areas. no parking or any kind of food at the hotel, but everything is a close walk away. on SoBe you can pay $200 easily for a dump, so this pleasant hotel is trying hard to be better and succeeding. the walls are a little thin so you can hear other guests from time to time...and my husband found the bed uncomfortable, though i thought it was fine. recommended!

Bathroom is a little small and bottom floor can be noisy but the beds are great and very nice personel.

Not much of a lobby, and the rooms are small, but it's very clean and quiet enough at night that you can sleep . . . not a given in a SoBe hotel. I got a good last-minute rate through Hotels.com, and would stay there again, since it was good value.

The location is great - near lots of restaurants, the beach, etc. It still seems a bit run down even though it's touted as newly renovated - cheap floor and table lamps, no security lock on the door, no front desk service after midnight (I thought there would have been a nice info packet in the room with information about what to do in an emergency, etc, since the front desk is not always available, but there was nothing). Rooms are a bit noisy at night - 3am and heard sounds like playing basketball or something...

Great Price, Great Room. I am super picky and I would go again and recommend it to all!

Needs a car park, also maybe a laundry service in hotel.

Great staff, clean rooms, close to everything South Beach has to offer (Ocean Dr, Lincoln Rd with all the restaurants). It was a great deal and I am very satisfied with my stay.

Perfect location, lovely hotel with very clean, well equipped rooms, polite and unintrusive staff. Only complaint - noisy AC fan.

I liked this hotel. Close to food and the beach, basic hotel but had a nice courtyard and good service.

Still under construction but our room was very nice...will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Riviere South Beach. It is a very simple hotel, nothing flashy...no lounge bar, no porch seating area, no pool but great location and walking distance to beach, shops and restaruants. Also fairly quite at night, we did not hear noise from streets. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach towels are lent out if needed. Room has a mini fridge so we purchased drinks from the convienient store one block over. We would consider staying here again on our next visit.

Nice and clean, comfortable beds. Great location, 1 block off the Ocean/Ocean Drive and a few blocks from Washington and Espanola Way. Metered street parking right in front or the hotel has a valet service for one rate and you can take your car in and out all day.

for the money we paid for the hotel, it was a small room. there was no breakfast and we had to pay our own parking fee. However the staff was friendly and helpfull. The room was new and clean.

This hotel was very close to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. It was walkable to all the restaurants and shops that we wanted to go to. Overall cleanliness was good. The only complaint that we have is the moldy smell in the room.

This hotel was a lovely surprise. In a central location, steps away from restaurants and shopping, yet peaceful. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

The Riviere South Beach Hotel is conveniently located. It's walking distance from Espaniola Way (a short blocked off street with fabulous Mexican, Cuban, and Italian restaurants), the shops on Lincoln, and the beach. There's a grocery store right around the corner and because you have a fridge and small kitchenette right in your room it's ideal for saving some money on breakfast and lunch. We did have the room with the Murphy bed, which was really a leather futon. It was fine for a young, single person, but definitely wouldn't do for a couple. Opt for a room with two queen beds. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and we loved the patio area with tables and chairs. The area does become a little bit shady at night, but if you're with a group, it's fine. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel.... Friendly Staff.... Clean updated rooms, "DO NOT USE THIER VALLET" they use a private company that was a nightmare... Just park in the parking garage for the same price one block away.

I had a fabulous time at the Riviere! The room was clean and modern equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The location was awesome between 15th & 14th on Collins...you walk a block over to 13th and then 1 block down to Ocean drive and you're at the beach aka Paradise! I am definitely going to stay here again.

The hotel room was beautiful, brite and clean. I loved it. My only disappointment was the view. The windows only open to a back wall and windows of other hotel rooms.

My family and I stayed overnight in South Beach before taking a cruise to the Bahamas. I wanted my teens to see the attractions and beauty of South Beach. The hotel was perfect for location, within walking distance of shopping, the beach & fun!!! They had a great time & so did I. The hotel was clean & perfect for our overnight stay. The staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend the hotel. We will be back for sure. Excellent price, excellent location. Be sure to make arrangements for parking, its $1.50 per hour! Nice lot at 13th & Collins.

I stayed in Room 18 and I have a mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, hot plate etc, so it made it easy to save money making a few of my own meals.

Checking in was ok the room was not available when we arrived but the clerk let us change into our swimsuits and leave our bags so that we could go to the beach. The shower was still dirty with hair on the walls and handles. NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER THE ENITRE 4 DAYS we were there. hot water in the sink though SMH!!! Sheets were not changed the next morning dirtym pillow cases were put in back of the clean pillows. Room was nothing like the pictures NO flatscreens shower leaked walls thin we could hear the other guests conversations when they were arguing. we made the best out of a bad situation and enjoyed ourselves anyway. Would not stay again though..

Great address within a short distance from the beach, just one street away from Ocean Drive and restaurants, but in a slightly quieter neighborhood. The room was spacious, and clean (although the TV remote control was a little worn out), with a small kitchen (but need to bring your own coffee). The staff was helpful and friendly. I was a little worried after reading the previous reviews, but everything went well. You need to park in the street or in a nearby covered parking. Would definitely recommend for a short or longer stay.

The room - or actually a one bedroom studio apt - was newly renovated and very crisp in every way. New furniture, supporting beds with fine bedding and a kitchenette with fridge, microwave oven and toaster making it possible to have brekfasts as well as lighter meals "at home". There was also a hot plate but no pots or pans which was a bit strange. Big closet with hangers and shelves in the bedroom. Two flatscreens and AC-units in respectively bed room and living room. Plenty of floor space! It felt very airy. The only draw back was that the handy men had misscalculated the slanting floor in the shower making it nessessary to have towels placed outside of it in order to avoid flooding of the bathroom and hallway... Extra towels were provided and changed by housekeeping making it no real issue but I would reccomend the hotel management to have this looked at and taken care of in a better way. The apt had no wiews - the windows all looked out on backyards with dumpsters when opened. This was of no concern to us since they had been frosted white and equipped with stylish mesh curtains and black out roller blinds. Parking is available in the immediate area payable with coins or card in 8 hour intervals. A separate garage a few blocks on the right hand side to the north not affiliated with the Riviere offered a resonable 24H flat rate for those who stayed longer and didn't need full access to their car. Thanks to the helpful and attentive staff, being located one block away from Ocean Drive and the beach with all the action on convenient walking distance as well as supermarkets and shops close by makes the Riviere Hotel a great place to stay and I would try to go back to the same place if I ever should return to South Beach.
