Of all the hotels we stayed in past years when we visited Maine, Turbats Creek Lodge was the most satisfying. The best feature is Sophie. She was most gracious, courteous, and helpful. Please convey our sincere appreciation to her for the effort she has expended on our behalf.

a good place to stop for overnight. rooms are very small.

for the area, a great deal. great staff to work with. i never had a room cleaned as well as that room was cleaned our second day. very convenient location. hotel is a little dated, but it did not effect our stay at all. had a lovely time here.

Enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed at the Lodge; Sophie is truly an asset to your business.

The Hotal was very nice, quite. The staff was very helpfull friendly. The price was good. I would stay again

Not bad, but the hotel is pretty shabby and needs some updating.

Our stay is what we had expected- courteous, clean, nearby everything you want .. We will come again when time permits. We must say the front desk staff was very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The McKenna's

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel was outside of town in a beautiful quiet wooded area and perfectly situated for exploring kennebunk and the surronding area. The staff were polite and helpful especially sonia on reception and the rooms were comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and it will certainly be our first choice if we are lucky enough to visit the area again

Loved the hotel. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that the mattress was extremely hard.

Easy to drive to various Maine locations. Hotel was clean. Very quite.

Would like to thank, once again, Sophie at the front desk for her exemplary service. From checking us in to checking us out, she made our stay so wonderfully relaxing. Can't say enough about her service.

The people who worked there coul d not have been nicer or more helpful. They will give you advice on what to do and where to go and even gave us a room to change in after we had already checked out and spent the day at the beach. For the $ you can't beat this place!

Loved this place. Very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us out. Would definitely come back. The heated saltwater pool was great and the hotel is located very close to many great. Sights.

The hotel clerk was very friendly and gave us a map of things to see. Wish we had more time to spend there - will have to go back!

.We were very pleased with the Inn. The decor was a little dated, but Sophie's. enthusiasm and kindness made up for it. It was a great location. Near to the town, but without the congestion. Sophie was very gracious and helpful in directing us to places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay there again

We spent 4 nites at the Lodge and was pleased with the location. Short drive to downtown. Had a large clean room. Very pleasant staff. Very comfortable stay. Did not want to leave. =)

The Lodge at Turbat's Creek had very clean comfortable room and the customer service was great. Very nice continental breakfast with danish and other sweet rolls with coffee. The only slight downside was the rooms had very old antiquated TV sets. Nice location in Kennebunkport. I would visit again.

The hotel was close to all of the wedding events I was there for. It is a bit out of the way, but was within 2 miles of all the places I needed to be. The area was quiet and very nice.

Sophie was wonderful? Nice, clean, safe, friendly place.

This was our second stay at this motel and we love the quiet and comfortable rooms. Sofie at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm and refreshing and the grounds were well kept. We hope to come back again soon.

The Lodge lived up to it's reviews from the moment we walked into the office and never disappointed. Sofie at the front desk was very nice, helpful and recognized us through out our stay. The Lodge is not on a main road (so it's quiet - we usually end up at places near highways) but is also easy to find. The room was clean, comfortable and a nice size (including the bathroom). The pool is heated. I'll be recommending The Lodge at Turbat's Creek to friends as well as returning in the future.

This was the best value of all the places we stayed last week. In fact, we stayed an extra night. Sophie was extremely helpful and the breakfast was nicer than many other places.

The people at the Lodge at Turbat's Creek were friendly and helpful...the gounds were beautiful and the room was more than we expected. We certainly wouldn't hesitate going back or recommending it to our friends and family.

I had looked at reviews before booking this motel. So many mentioned Sophie at the office desk. She is truly a gem. This made for a pleasant experience. The Lodge at Turbat's Creek is clean, quiet and very pleasant. I will definately go back.

This is a great area for fresh lobsters, good new England coastal scenery and superbly helpful welcoming staff. Greatly recommended.

Very comfortable and clean room, free toiletries and breakfast included - great value. Large clean room and big bathroom with good shower. Location was quiet, though not really walking distance into Kennebunkport at night (no streetlights), although possibly you could in daylight! Friendly staff, green surroundings. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay very much, especially liked the fact that it was just outside of town in the beautiful wooded area so near the beach.

Although it's not a lodge, The Lodge at Turbat's Creek was really nice! Its location just outside of Kennebunkport made it quiet and peaceful. It's less than a mile form President Bush's home on Walker Point. We loved the stay. Sophie is a great hostess. The price is really good. Better than I expected.

Loved the fact that it was out of the way of all the little stores. Easy access to get anywhere we wanted to go. Very quiet. Wish we had gone there during warmer season and got to use the pool, or outdoor chairs and tables. Sophia VERY cheery and helpful at all times.

This motel was good for the money and Sophie at reception is a gem but it is a little out of Kennebunkport so a taxi or a driver needed at night for Dinner/drinks. There was a fatal accident involving contractors so we were moved because of the investigation to a grotty hotel in Kennebunkport and the whole incident was a bit disconcerting. It was handled extremely well by Sophie but the alternative accommodation was poor. In the circumstances it was bearable for one night but a much lower standard than the Lodge.

Sophie was great and made the stay very enjoyable. We will return if in the area.

the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful; the room was quite large and the bathroom quite ample, the bed was extremely comfortable; the continental breakfast was fine . I would definitely recommend this place as a comfortable, reasonable alternative to the higher priced lodgings in Kennebunkport. It's approximately 2 to 3 miles from the town.

Front desk staff was extremely cordial. She took time on what seemed to be a pretty busy day to help my girlfriend and I acquaint ourselves with the area. She provided a map and recommended several attractions and restaurants. She even let us take some menus up to our room to look at while we got settled in. Our room was pleasant--nothing fancy, but no complaints. The lodge is a few minutes from town--a little too far to walk but a very short drive. Public parking in town is only $3/hr anyway. We would definitely stay here again. The money saved by staying here versus one of the up-scale inns can go towards going out and shopping or recreational activities, and the service was highly satisfactory!

Very nice place but removed from "downtown" Kennebunkport [1.25 mile walk]. Nice clean place and Sophie was a treat.
