Hotel was mid way between the airport and River front activities and well maintained.

Everything was great except for our room cleaning. We were only given one towel and no soap for a family of four. Then, my son had an accident during the night. We immediately stripped the bedding and cleaned the mattress as best we could. The next day, the cleaning service put the soiled linens back on the bed and did nothing to treat the mattress!

Pros: Newer hotel, clean, decent breakfast, fast wifi Cons: Questionable location, rooms not ready at check in, cleaning staff slamming doors constantly every morning, patrons allowed to be loud in hallways late into the night

Poor customer service is my biggest complaint. First, we requested an additional folding luggage rack since my wife and I each had our own suitcase. Not only did I have to go to the front desk twice for this same request, when someone finally got around to bringing one to the room about an hour later, it was broken. The second issue was the second morning. We realized the cleaning staff took our old towels and did not leave us any clean towels. My wife went to the front desk and requested towels and even though they were supposed to be delivered immediately, none ever showed up. After waiting for towels that never arrived, I was finally ready to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast that was supposed to be from 7am to 11am. I arrived about 10:45 - 10:50 only to find that a majority of the breakfast items had already been put away and were not available. I could not even get a cup of orange juice. Several people came in after I did, so I don't think I was too far out of line expecting a breakfast advertised until 11:00 to actually be available until 11:00. The walls and ceiling seemed paper thin. You can easily hear people walking and talking almost as if they are in your room with you. Doors closed very loudly and often we could hear water from the upper floors running through the pipes in the walls. Overall, I would give it a 2 1/2 star review. Not horrible, but it certainly could have been better with more effort and focus on customer service.

Everything was great. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was normal.

Very close to restaurants & mall. Front desk clerk extremely friendly & helpful. Really needs mat or resurfacing in shower - VERY SLIPPERY! Convenient to hospital.

There was a lot of deferred small issue maintenance (faucet in bathroom loose on vanity, shower rod improperly installed) and cleanliness not perfect. Desk clerk sat around in lobby watching tv for hours while eating (hotel was almost empty) and complained of her desk chair being uncomfortable. Price to value was poor.

Good for express booking, but no maicrowave, no refregirator

Everything was great on this stay. The location could not have been better and the evening staff was very welcoming.

Hotel was conveniently located near Hunter Army Base. Its on the main shopping street and relatively quiet. Entrance to the hotel was bit obscure and dark in the evening. The neighborhood behind the hotel is a bit older.

I enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn. I usually have good experiences with Holiday Inn.

Nice young woman at front desk and a comfortable bed and the breakfast staff seemed diligent. The structure itself is aging quickly, hallways needed vacuuming, and the walls are thin, not much for sound insulation.

no half and half at breakfast, two days in a row, pancake machine broken. carpet in our room questionable.

stay was good. would put smoking somewhere other than by the front door, smoke was bad when entering and exiting .the power went off on the mornig we were leaving which made it difficult to get ready to leave.

Staff was super friendly, room was clean and spacious. Not very soundproofed but nice. The breakfast selection was great! Hot bfast is always welcome when we're traveling to save money. Hotel is on Abercorn, which is straight to I95 and straight to the historic part of Savanna so you can't get lost.

Located right on one of the biggest thoroughfares in Savannah, Abercorn Street, this hotel is surrounded by restaurants and grocery stores, so it would be perfect for the out of town traveler. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good as continental breakfasts go, and the lady at the front desk was polite, if a bit cold. I'm not sure how long the hotel has been around, but it seemed brand new - if not, it's been recently renovated, because everything seemed barely used, which is definitely a plus.

Hotel kept in immaculate condition, friendly staff, and extremely polite. Somewhat of a little distance from the majority of the scenic portion of Savannah, but this was both good and bad. Quiet at night, and peaceful. traffic a bit heavy to get to scenic area, but again, holiday weekend. Highly recommend this for a stay, unless you just have to be in the middle of the action, and want to pay a lot more for your stay.

Very pleasant and quiet. Great seafoof resturant around the corner from hotel (take-out only). Good breakfast at hotel and very friendly staff. Will stay again in the future.

we had a great stay breakfast was probably the best part they really do go all out (pancakes, sausage, eggs, cereal, toast, and lots more) the beds are really comfortable and the pillows are too....overall the room and hotel was very clean and felt like home the hotel staff was very friendly

I went with my husband and two teenage sons to help my daughter move into Armstrong, and the location was great for that. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. This might be my mistake, but I was expecting a sofa bed in the room, so that the two boys wouldn't have to share a bed, but there wasn't one. Otherwise, the room was nice and the breakfast the next day was good. We would stay here again, but maybe next time I would specify a suite?

Nice Hotel and pool. Breakfast was very good and a nice way to start the day.

Very good. nothing bad to say about my stay. Very clean bathroom. Over all very good. very good food. Location was good for me.

When booking, I thought the room included 2 queens and a sofa bed.. When checking in, I was told the room booked was for just 2 queens. We had to use a rollaway bed, making it difficult to move around.

The hotel was ok, and the pool was nice. However, the big issue was the reason we selected this hotel was the room layout of 2 Queen beds plus a sofa bed, giving everyone their own sleeping site. Not only was that not the room we received, according to hotel management, they don't have any rooms like that at all. Not sure if the issue was with the hotel or Hotels.com, but considering that was the only reason we choose this hotel, this was very disappointing, particularly as there was a picture of the exact layout we needed on the Hotels.com page.

It was okay. Fitness center did not have ac working, so I exercised in heat and humidity, which was not fun... Breakfast was free, but even that could not justify poor quality... No fruit whatsoever. The room was great though.

beds need to be updated kinda springy.

room dirty first night,complained to management,room was thoroughly cleaned and the rest of my stay was very pleasant....management responsive action was very quick.....would stay again....breakfast bar was very good.....fair valve for the price.....

Had a room right next to the lobby and walls were thin so could hear a lot of noise. We had four in a room for several night stay and they always left us with only 3 towels so each night we had to ask for another towel. They did not seemed prepared for breakfast as had to wait for food items and beverages - although the worker was apologetic and doing his best. Room was clean and beds were sufficient. Overall would stay here again if our first choice hotel is full again.

What a great front desk staff, and the pancake machine is the coolest! Loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants after a day of meetings!!!

I booked a suite for two nights and upon arrival was informed that the suite was not available. They did however accommodate us with two rooms, minus the microwave and refrigerator promised. This was a girls getaway, we were a little disappointed, but we all survived. Front desk staff very professional and informative. Maid service appeared to be non-existent with the exception of replacing towels.

I was not please with the buffet breakfast offered. There was no fruit. There was one very ripe banana that was quite unapppealing. When I asked about fruit I was told that the bananas were green, that's why they weren't put out. Also, one of the decanters of coffee was cold.

The hotel was nice the desk attended was very nice I had arrived at 10 am and let me check in early the room was clean and the beds were very comfy I will come back again

The hotel was a little hard to find because it sets back off the road that has its address. We were on the 4th floor and had trouble getting hot water for showers. Also the shower head was horrible. We recommend a non-slip mat be placed in the tub in the bathroom. The tubs sides are high and the bottom is curved and slick. The hand hold was so far away from the showerhead it wasn't useful. Everything else about our stay was very pleasant. Restaurants were very accessible and the buffet breakfast was very good. The employees were most accommodating.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and fresh. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, plus it was very delicious. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, choices of cereal, amongst other items..Will definately stay again if I am in the area. Two Thumbs Up!!
