BIG CEDAR LODGE - ברנסון

The unit serves the purpose it is/was designed for but with my wife and I it is overpriced for our needs. Would be perfect for a family needing the many available services.

Big cedar was more than we thought it would be, great service, friendly people, and awesome christmas lights. Good food too! We are already planning our next trip.

COMPLETLEY DISAPPOINTED.

Poor accommodations, we reserved 3 nites but left after the 2nd nite. Very expensive stay.

Wonderful hotel with lots of activities for the kids. Plus it is so close to Branson. Spent the morning on the lake canoeing, kayaking and then take in a show!

Big Cedar is just great! Has so much to offer, great food, multiple things to do and enjoy, great service, clean, comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful! We have stayed in the lodge before, but this time we got a cabin, was so cozy and nice. You go beyound great service, the basket of "goodies" in the room and drinks provided were so nice, and the cookies at night -- ummm. We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so very much for a great stay.

I really liked Big Cedar. We got our own one bedroom cabin for our honeymoon. Although it was very nice to be there it was not what the website made it out to be. Our cabin was not on the water, The term "private" is loosely used as I could reach out of our bathroom window and pretty much touch the neighboring cabins. The deck also was not private because I could see into the neighbors cabin and everyone around us could see our deck. Also the last thing that was a little disappointing was that our wireless internet didn't work and the people on the phone didn't do anything to help. Just a few inconveniences and a couple things that weren't as expecting but overall it was a good experience and quiet.

We really needed a getaway, and it was nice to only drive 45 minutes but feel like you are a world away. Due to our late booking, it seemed we wouldn't be able to get a cabin with a wood fireplace. But we asked - never hurts, right? - and they graciously upgraded us to a lakeside cabin, wood fireplace, jacuzzi, the works - for only a small additional cost per night. The place was amazing! Comfy, quiet, and the friendly staff available whenever you might need them. It was all so easy - one of the best, most relaxing mini-vacations we ever had. One caveat - they are NOT kidding about no pets. We didn't know and brought our little dog. The only sour note of the whole trip was the rather large Pet Service Fee that was added to our bill. We will definitely come back, but we will definitely NOT bring the doggie. ( I don't see that as their fault, I didn't even read up to see what their policy was). Overall, I highly recommend a stay at Big Cedar the next time you need some relief from stress.

The resort was very nice, with many activities. The room was way too dark, had to open the door to let in some light. Not a lamp or overhead light in sight! The coffee at the Truman Cafe was good, however at the other two nearby restaurants it was no more than brown water. I asked if they had a different blend, and was told the same was used on the entire property. Sounds like someone is being stingy on the amount of coffee used.

I had heard heard that Big Cedar Lodge was a nice place to stay but it really exceeded all of my expectations. We stayed 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definately go back another time. I live in Kansas City and had no idea such a wonderful place was only a 3 hour drive. It is rustic yet casual. Everything was wonderful. Our main objective was to visit Branson. We ended up just driving through Branson and spending all our time at Big Cedar.

Me and my fiance came here for the weekend to get engaged. The staff was eager to help me prepare my proposal in any way they could. We stayed in a one room cabin with a fire place and did not want to leave once we got there. We ate at the Devil's Pool restaurant and the Trout was amazing. Overall I would recommend Big Cedar Resort to anyone wanting to just get away for a weekend and relax. I can't wait to return.

This was our first trip to Big Cedar Lodge after hearing friends wonderful experiences there. We were not disappointed. The resort is gorgeous and very unique. Our room was wonderful and more than adequate for our needs. The restaurants were amazing and the food outstanding. The free shuttle service offered by the resort was a true blessing and we used in several times. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a carefree stay in a peaceful, beautiful venue.

They have excellent staff and everything was wonderful
