The hotel staff was very helpful, breakfast was OK not great, rooms were large clean and it is walking distance to the Repubblica. the place dose need new paint but I would stay there again

Hotel located 15mins away from termini, with streets that could be dangerous at night. If not for my hubby, I would have been lost and scared wherever we were going back to hotel.

The hotel offered a B&B experience with a very nice luxurious hotel room. The Townhouse hotel is located in a residential area not far from the central railway station so you initially think it would not be the best area. However, it's located near some of the city sights & many nice hotels and business as well as other typically Italian homes surround it. All the staff were very welcoming and made me feel as they were genuinely happy to see me every time we met. They made me feel like family visiting and not a guest. You are provided a key to the main door and a key card for entry into the Townhouse (which is located on the second floor), so you can come & go as you please. They offer breakfast only, but the restaurant located one block over has reasonably priced and "authentic" delicious italian food - hotel has a working agreement with this restaurant. The hotel staff can provide a menu order & deliver to your room (no extra charges) a service they offer to guests too "tired" or not willing to go out for a meal. But there are several nice places in this area to choose from if you desire. Free WiFi, but its only available in the sitting area. I've already made plans to return to Italy with family & insisted this is the hotel we book.

About 10 minutes walk from Termini. Location is good, but you won't find the hotel if you try to search for the palm tree on the photo ( a bit of misleading here). And when you see it's called suite, it doesn't mean you will get a suite. They have only one suite in the hotel (6 rooms in total???) and it really depends on your luck to get it. We got three of us packed in the room, hard to move around. However, all staff were very nice and friendly. They really make you feel good there. The restaurant near by was good too. Anyway, forget about suite, then you will be happy there.

Staff was very very friendly. Great room and breakfast with decent variety. Location was close enough to train station and lots of restaurants around the area. Will go back to this hotel for sure.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Is on the second floor, and only has a small lift. Staff are very helpful and speak good English. Is in a good location, we walked everywhere.

Nice hotel. Clean & comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff.. Location near Termini station made getting around Rome fairly easy.

Good clean well appointed room with concierge, small elevator, fridge, king size bed, A/C, 500m from Termini, and 100m from a couple of great little bistros and bars. Initially I thought the neighbourhood was a bit seedy, but the locals were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was great. Room was very quiet and the bed extremely comfortable...had 3 great nights sleep. Breakfast room was small but adequate, and the breakfast itself while lacking hot food, was still wide ranging and plentiful. Recommend for couples staying a few nights in Rome on a reasonable budget.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Nice, large rooms, and the service was top-notch. I had an early flight in the morning - not only did the receptionist call me a cab for the next morning, but provided me with take-away breakfast since I wouldn't be around when breakfast was served. If I return to Rome, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Capitolium again.

Cozy and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location is just a 5 min walk from the main station Roma Termini. However could be a tad bit difficult to find. The lift was ancient but did make us laugh. Morning breakfast buffet was alright. Rooms were of okay size with a good size bathroom. Aircon a little bit noisy.

We were happily surprised by our stay at the Hotel Capitolium. The quality and cleanliness was excellent. I really appreciated the minibar being priced at convenience store pricing.

We really enjoyed this hotel but there were a few things that were unexpected. First the reception desk closes between 12 and 2pm. Second the hotel is on the same street as adult video store/place. And third the rooms are in a building not a single standing hotel. But overall this is a really nice place to stay especially for the price.

It was great value for the reasonable price. Absolutely nothing to complain. We have been in several hotels in Rome and this one was by far the best. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Had an extended weekend in Capitolium with my wife and we were generally very pleased. Personel was very friendly and helpful, room (classic decoration) very nice and clean. No minus points at all on that side, especially considering the price. Only thing that we were disappointed was breakfast. No newly baked bread or fresh fruits. For those who it matter, there is a sex movie company on the opposite side of the street and a strip club next door. They presented no nuisance at all, though.

We took shower with cold water for 2 out of 3 days we stayed there. Lucky for us, the weather was hot in Rome and cold shower wasn't horrible.

I really want to like this hotel because the staff are really helpful and great, the surrounding neighborhood is an eclectic mix of local romano shops and other more ethnic restaurants, and it's nice and quiet. The room was big for roman standards and clean and very well maintained. Note, this might be an isolated incident, but our room had a heater problem. The hot water works fine during the day, but probably because of the increased usage at night, the water was hot for a few minutes and became cold. Also, the blackout shades were old, and missing several rungs, hence defeating it's purpose. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel.

We thought the idea was quaint at first. The first room was comfy clean and comfortable. When we returned for our departure to the airport there was nothing quaint about it. The room was very smelly and there were water stains on the wall paper. The next day was a holiday so the man from the desk departed at 9 pm and never returned. we could not set up a wakeup call. we could not find a store open that late that sold alarm clocks.So we literally stayed up all night to avoid being late for our flight. Thank goodness we had packed the bathroom up before it accidentally closed behind me and latched which cut off bathroom access for the rest of the night. the when trying to open the door the handle fell off into the bathroom. Thank god neither of us was in the bathroom when the door broke because there was no one available to help. When the young lady worked the desk the internet would not work. she tired to fix it but it always worked when anybody else was working. the breakfasts were ok for continental. It is next door to the disco sexy (strip bar) and across the street from the cinema sexy.

I was housesitting by the Pantheon and then moved to this hotel for my last 3 nights, with the intention of being close to Termini for an easy departure. I was surprised to find such a nice, affordable hotel nearby! The bed was sooo comfortable, and the decor of the room was lovely - not cheap at all like some of the others I was looking at, and very victorian-esque which I love. The breakfast was substantial. The neighborhood isn't like being near the Pantheon, but it is safe, and it's a short walk to most things. There is a nice wine bar around the corner too... The view out the window was of a garden area which was pleasant also. The front desk isn't open 24hrs but they were quite accomodating when I told them I had to leave early on checkout day, and even gave me some breakfast the night before. I would stay again for sure.

Vi var mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på detta lilla hotel. Trevliga fräscha rum och mycket sköna sängar. Hotellet låg på andra våningen och hade liten hiss upp. Frukost ingick och var tillräcklig m toast, marmelad, yoghurt mm. God cappuccino! Vi blev erbjudna efter 1:a natten att bli uppgraderade till ett större rum. Dock valde vi att stanna kvar i det rum vi hade för vi hade så härlig utsikt över trädgården m palmer! Hotellet har bra centralt läge i stan. Vi var i Rom 4 dagar och gick till de flesta ställen. Tog bara metron när vi skulle till Vatikanen. Termini stationen ligger 10 min gångväg från hotellet.

Soggiorno molto positivo. Camera spaziosa, con arredamento curato. Personale molto cordiale e ospitale. Hanno fornito lettino per bambina sotto i tre anni gratuitamente e hanno considerato inclusa la colazione della bimba nella prenotazione per due. Una grande rarità in Italia e dimostra cultura e arte del ricevere, come dovrebbe essere in un paese bello e civile. Grazie

Hôtel charmant et endroit très calme. Petit déjeuner correct mais peu varié.

Hyggelig lite hotell. Meget god seng, flott baderom i rommet, rikelig varmtvann, fin vindus utsikt, hyggelig personale, bra frokost, gratis internett, sentral beliggenhet i forhold til sentralstasjonen. Severdigheter som Trevi fontenen, Spanske Trappen, Coloseum og Peters kirken er i gangsvstand fra hotellet.

Très bon séjour durant 3 nuits hotel bien situé à environ 5 mn du termini et 20/30 mn des sites historiques. Accueil très sympathique à l'hôtel (parle français) quartier calme. Quelques petits défauts (peintures eccaillés) mais propre.Salle du petit déjeuner effectivement petite mais ne nous a pas posé de problème (il n'y a que 6 chambres)

Dejligt, stille værelse med smuk haveudsigt. God beliggenhed tæt ved hovedbanegård (lufthavnsbus) og centrum. Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig, og der var kun italiensk tv, men ellers helt i top.

フロントの対応がとても良く気持ちが良かったです。 電子レンジも使用させてもらえたので、スーパーで惣菜を購入し部屋でのんびり夕食を摂ることもでき子供連れにはとても助かりました。

Bon hotel bonne prestation globale, l hotel se situe non loin de la gare pratique pour départ / arrivée (7 minute de marche) le quartier regorge de petites épiceries, bar et pizzerias au premier abords peu engageant mais franchisez le pas vous verrez mm si vous ne parlez pas la langue vous serez bien accueil lis (faites tomber vos aprioris). Tous les jours il y a un petit marché dans la rue tenu en grande partie par des roumains bien présents à Rome (serveur resto, vendeur, et commerçants à la sauvette..) mais rien de bien méchant au bout de 2 jours vous vous sentez bien à Rome. Le centre de Rome est à une petite 1/2 de marche nous privilégions toujours ce type de déplacements lors de nos escapades cela permet de mieux découvrir le vrai caractère des villes et cela nous permets de changer de parcours chaque jours bonne visite. L hotel se trouve au 2 eme étage d un immeuble cossu , le personnel est très agréable seul la jeune femme parle français mais avec un peu de patience...

Generelt en positiv oplevelse. Kvarteret er en smule betænkeligt ved første møde (stripklub og X-rated biograf ligger meget tæt på), men vi oplevede det aldrig som utrygt. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende, værelset stort og rent, morgenmaden fin. Den samlede vurdering trækkes meget ned af, at der ingen varm vand var første og sidste dag af vores ophold (vi havde 4 overnatninger på hotellet). Ellers anbefalelsesværdigt.

Trevligt litet hotell på 2:a våningen, helt ok frukost och rum. Snålade dock med värmen på rummen och receptionen var inte bemannad med någon engelsktalande på hela resan förutom vid incheckningen. Urdåligt wifi.

excellent mise a part le stationnement voiture il fallait trouver une place aux alentour et payante! (horodateur) sinon tout etait a proximité notamment le métro et gare les visites des monuments et la restauration ( la famiglia) super!! a recommander !!!

Pour un premier séjour à Rome entre amies cet hôtel fut idéal en outre son emplacement idéal à quelques minutes de la gare termini nous avons pu également apprécié la qualité du service et les bonnes adresses de notre hôte en matière de restaurants proches de l hôtel!les chambres sont très jolies et propres quelque peu bruyantes le soir mais elles restent très convenables et à ce prix je doute qu''on puisse trouver mieux!je vous conseille donc très vivement cet hôtel!

Really nice rooms and nice service. Area picture is slightly misleading since it does not show the outside of the hotel, but the best part of the surrounding. Soem shady bussiness in the area. Once inside it is a good quality and friendly service.

Отель отличнейший, чистый, уютный, ремонт аристократический, минибар дармовой, персонал радушный. Близкий к центральному вокзалу.

Et koselig hotell som vi bestilte i siste liten til en veldig god pris. Det ligger i gåavstand til Tremini st og derfor et bra valg om du ser etter et billig hotell med god standard

Hotellet låg bra till, nära centralstationen varifrån man kan ta sig överallt men också tillräckligt nära för att gå till många sevärdheter. På samma gata finns det dock både en vuxenbio och klubb, detta var faktiskt ärligt talat inte störande alls förutom att man noterade att det fanns där. Hotellet var mycket mindre än vad vi trodde men väldigt fint och prydligt. Servicen var bra och de i receptionen talade bra engelska. Frukosten var helt okej, ingen jättestor buffé och mest sött men ändå gott och mättande. Det fanns AC på rummet vilket var helt underbart när det var 35 grader utomhus! =) Sammanfattat hade vi en bra vistelse och det var väl värt pengarna!

Location is on the wrong side of Termini if exploring the sights. If walking few Xra kms a day is no problem this place has all a man needs; good beds, quiet working A/C, decent breakfast and huge bath. There is no luxury but furniture looks pretty "italian" with good taste. When the weather is cooler I choose some other place closer to Corso-Navona axel but when A/C is needed, this place is my choise. 2 persons we saw in reseption were friendly. There are few goodish restaurants min or 2 walk towards Termini. All my measurements are based on European standards.

Super ophold, meget venligt, godt værelse, god rolig beliggenhed, alt i alt et super lille hotel
