Royal Asia Lodge Hotel Bangkok - בנגקוק

The hotel is a bit old and need renovation or maintenance. The service of the staff is ok. Short walk about 8-15 mins to the BTS station.

Hotel seemed to not change aircon filters. My wife got stuffed up as soon as we turned on the air. We had to sleepm with the air off so that she could breathe. The fact that they also had a price list for everything in the room should a person feel the need to take something didn't feel right. i guess they don't trust the guests very much.

The room I stayed was not cleaned up. The was a water pet bottle which someone drank in the room. When I ran a shower, the stained red water with rust came out. In addition, when I flush the toilet, the tank was broken as a result bathroom floor became wet. I complained the manager, he said there was no more room and no fee deduction. I still complained and they finally allocated another room to me, this means they told a lie that there was no more room! The worst room and worst service ever!

I liked this place. It is older and patched up, but my room was clean and the staff was very nice and attentive. It is a very good budget option, as the price is lower than most hotels in the Sukhumvit area. It is pretty much on the same street at the BTS transit system stop at Nana, so that is terrific. It is a bit far to walk to the main Sukhumvit Road and the BTS, but there is Tuk-Tuk service provided by the hotel, which was very convenient.

I booked the twin rooms with 2 single beds in each room & it was confirmed but on arrival at we found all 3 rooms with single large bed.We were simply cheated reciponist said they have no rooms of our requirement is empty. After so many request we were given one room. It seems to we were a begger. we didnt find any bell boy to take our baggages in the room.

We had to change rooms 4 times as something or the other was dysfunctional in each room either air conditioner or hot water etc finally we gave up. At breakfast service was so slow, empty plates were replaced after ages and repeated requests, people just left without eating. To refill a thing like bread took forever. Wi fi did not available during entire stay in fact wi fi from surrounding hotel was available.

Old hotel, looks like from the seventies. Found a cockroach in the room and the air conditioning didn't work without special instructions from the maintenance guy. The air conditioning also dropped water to the bed all night long, which wasn't so nice. In addition the breakfast was bad. My husband got stomach problems and I didn't even dare to taste it. Above all this the bed was nice and comfortable and the price was good plus the staff was helpful.

Great hotel, great value, great room, great beer prices and front porch but far down Soi 8. When leaving the hotel they'll drive you down to Sukhumvit for free but they are hard to find to bring you back. Still close to the train station and on a chill street with great bars and restaurants. Little much on the hard sell for tours, I wouldn't book anything here. Great wifi also.

The hotel is not fancy but they offer a nice room at a reasonable price. Free tuk-tuk from the hotel to the skytrain station is a huge plus. My air conditioner went out the last day which made the last evening like living in a steam bath but they were working on getting it back online when I checked out.

The phrase "you get what you pay for" only applies to the Royal Asia Lodge if you are staying here for free.

The hotel reception area was nice, but the room was in dire need of updating. The walls needed paint, the bathroom needed mildew removal and the TV was an old 19 inch tube with very poor reception. The pool area was never picked up and the jacuzzi was full of trash in about four inches of stagnate water. The over all impression was very seedy, a place were one might take a prositute to. Beakfastwas very limited in it's offerings and the food was subpar.

We chose Royal Asia Lodge for the excellent location and because we had stayed here before. Although the price is reasonable, the hotel rooms are in serious need of a facelift. Everything is old and tired looking, and the bathroom in particular needs to be renovated. There were cockroaches in our room and the TV only had 1 english channel. On top of that the breakfast was inedible - cold eggs and some sad pieces of cooked ham sitting in tepid water. Although the staff are very nice, next time I think we'll try somewhere else.

This Hotel is disgraceful. I booked the presidential suite thinking that it would be adequate for my needs however when i arrived there they put me in a different building. Nothing worked. TV had one channel, Hot water did not work, light was flickeriing in toilet. I changed rooms four times to try and find adequate amenities but i was unable to. If i hadn't already paid i would have found another hotel. Room came with free buffet breakfast..... I dont think management know what a buffet is. Every morning i stayed there i had to wait 10 mins for a single egg to be put on the table. when they did arrive they would bring out 1 or 2 only. Disgraceful. Rooftop pool and jacuzzil with no water in it.. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

BTSプロンポン駅のすぐ近くにあるので、アクセスは最高に良い。また隣には日本人御用達のワットポー（マッサージ）があるので、疲れた身体を癒してくれる。ロビーでは無料でインターネットも使えるし、朝食（軽食）が付いているのも嬉しい。ただ、近くで大掛かりな工事（ホテル？，ショッピングモール？）をしているので、昼間は寝苦しいかも。なによりも、一泊約900バーツは魅力的。宿泊費を抑えたい方にはお勧めである。

การบริการค่อนข้างดี แต่ควรมรรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับกาบริการให้เยอะกว่านี้ ที่สำคัญควรจัดให้มีกาแฟฟรีภายในห้องพัก ไม่ควรจำหน่าย

Et hotel som absolut ikke er pengene værd da jeg ankom til hotellet og blev booket ind var der ikke noget varmt vand i hannen da jeg gerne ville ha et bad kortet til at komme ind af døren med virkede ikke ordentligt spa badet ved poolen var i stykker og så ud til at ha været det længe og beskrivelsen af hotellet på hotels.com stemte ikke overens med hotellet men det lå godt centralt det er også det eneste positive jeg kan finde ved det hotel. Det er sidste gang jeg har opholdt mig på det hotel.

La chambre n'était pas propre, la climatisation faisait énormément de bruit (on a du l’éteindre pour dormir) et fuyait sur le lit, une porte communiquait avec la chambre d'à coté donc aucune isolation phonique. De plus, le buffet du petit déjeuner était très peu fournit, la plupart des plats étaient vides, le personnel désagréable. A chaque fois que l'on demandait un service (taxi, ticket pour un match de boxe...) le prix demandé par l'hotel était bien plus élevé que le prix normal a éviter

Ikke som ses på billederne, hotelet er meget gammelt og er lige ved at falde sammen. Karkkalaker i værelserne, gammel møbler og gammel senge betræk. Efter første dags ophold gik vi til recptionen for at skifte værelse, de var meget flinke og gav os en anden værelse, men det var lige så dårligt. De ansætter var meget flinke men stedet er for gammelt

This hotel may have had it's hey days but the staff is friendly and very service minded. The breakfast is not worth mentioning. The hotel is situated in a very quiet dead end street not far from the sky train. OK hotel for staying in for a day or two.

Absolut sämsta bemötande jag någonsin fått på ett hotell. Totalt ointresserad nattportier. Rökfria rummet luktade rök, märken av cigaretter i borden. Dåligt städat.

Skulle lige finde ud af hvordan man kunne komme ned til enden af soièn med hotellets minibil. Morgenmaden var elendig, ikke som forventet, ingen service, kaffen var tyndbenet og når man gjorde opmærksom på mangel af servietter, skete der ingenting. Beliggenheden var i orden, tæt på Sky traine og stille og roligt.

朝食が、安い材料だが美味しかった。 NANA駅まで無料のツクツクが便利だった。 日本語放送が観られた。 インターネットが無料Wifiで便利だった。 プールは濁って入る気がしなかった。 洗面所や部屋に小さな虫が沢山入っていた。 エアコンが壊れて、部屋を移ったのに、そのエアコンも効きが悪かった。 鍵の２重ロックが壊れてた。 貴重品入れが壊れてた。 お風呂＝バスタブの栓が無く、お湯を貯めれなかった。 電話が繋がらず、新しいのに交換してもらっても 外線から繋がらず、仕事に支障を来たした。 一杯壊れて修理を依頼したのに、御免ねの一言もなく ただ、笑ってごまかされた。

Generelt dårlig service. frokosten var ikke klar nær den skulle om morgenen og det var lite utvalg hvis en kom en halv time før frokosten var ferdig. rommene var ikke rene.

Jag blev mkt besviken på den sk polen, det var en ytterst liten pol med grönt äckligt vartten som det inte gick att bada i. Frukosten var ok varken mer eller mindre men de var otroligt långsamma med att fylla på med mat och frukt som tog slut. Även glasen till juicen var ofta slut. Rummen var fina, men AC'n var gammal och lät som en vibrerande dammsugare hela tiden

Fick först ett rum som jag hade stora problem med djur i, kackelackor o en massa andra små kryp. Men de var inga problem med att få byta rum och då hade man inte de problemen så om ni besöker detta hotell och får rum 504 så byt rum direkt för det varkade som det endast var detta rum de hade problem med. Däremot blev jag besviken när jag skulle besöka poolen på taket....den har säkert inte varit igång på flera år full med grönt vatten

For this price you cannot and should not expect luxury, but still you get a very decent hotel in the center of Bangkok and just a 5 minute walk from the SkyTrain. The staff is very helpful, you get much more than you pay for (I think). Eventhough I would have liked it a little more clean, I can recommend this hotel! Enjoy your stay in Bangkok

Bra mellanklass hotell som min fru och jag bott på flera gånger i Bangkok. Rimliga priser och nära till skytrain (Nana) och Svenska Ambassaden gör att jag kommer tillbaka. Ett stort plus är poolen och massagen på tak terassen.

Es war woll das schlechteste !!Hotel!! das ich je in Bangkok hatte. Die Zimmer sind dreckig, ungepflegt und abgewohnt. Der Zimmerservice wenn es überhaubt einen gab arbeitete überhaubt nicht, da die Zimmer und der Rest dieses Hotels in einem erbärmlichen Zustand ist. Überall Haare, Staub, Dreck, Teller mit Lebensmitteln im Gang usw. Das Frühstück spiegelte die Zimmer und das Hotel wieder. Der Kaffee war mehr Wasser als Kaffee, der Saft schmeckte nach Chlorwasser und der Rest war ungenießbar. Geht auf die Straße zum frühstücken. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig und mann sollte sie unbedingt absperren, da es sein kann daß nächtlicher Besuch zu ihnen ins Zimmer will. Mehr brauche ich zu dieser Absteige wohl nicht mehr schreiben. Geht besser ins "Sleep with INN" in der Kaosan Road. Das ist nur zu empfehlen.

Das Zimmer war unsauber, Staub- und Haarflocken am Boden, Safe kaputt, abgebrochener Bügel im Schrank, in einer Schublade der Kommode altes Zeitungspapier. Das Badezimmer eine einzige Zumutung - katastrophal, kein Duschvorhang, völlig vergraute Handtücher, Badewanne versifft. Schmutzig! Nie Wieder!

Frühstücksbuffett mangelhaft, innerhalb sechs Tagen fehlten mehrer Sachen, wie Besteck, Gläser, Teller mußte elbst vom Spüler abgeholt werden. Kaffe und Tee fast nicht genießbar, Innerhalbe sechs Tagen keine Abwechsung in den Speisen. Die Anrichte war in Teilen leer. Selbstbedienung im wahrsten Sinne. In der Dusche Schimmel, Ein Tag ohne Zimmerservice. keine frischedn Handtücher, Betten wurden nicht gemacht.

I searched on hotels.com for ONE room with FOUR bed. On our paper says that I will get one president svit with one living room and two bedrooms, When I came there the hotell gave me two rooms. They said the room with four beds is not available at this moment (only after 3rd january, I check out 2nd january) so I felt cheated. I dont even cared to ask for the money back (because they gave us another kind of room) because I felt so sorry for them. It was quite cheap too. First room: - No warm water to shower (they have to go to our room to shower) - The toilet was broken and it ran water of it evetytime we flush. - Smell of ciggarettes (new, not old, I guess is the hotell staff who smoked), the ashtray had some ciggarettes left. and was not empty. Second room: - The keycard cannot use to the room. Something wrong with the battery. So everytime I want to come in, I have to call the staff, Lucky that I got one room extra, so I have to go to the first room first to call the staff. It was very annoying. - One of the soap was open. Used by another customer already? - Only one towel in the bathroom instead of two on the first day. - I got lots of mosquito bites after the first night. It later shows that the balcony was open 3cm. The staff forgot to close it. - High old music plays around 9 o´clock. Cannot turn it off. The speaker was stuck on the roof and we could not find any bottom to turn off the sound. Hotell: - Most disgusting pool ever. The water was so grey what I woundnt dare to touch the water. - I ask to borrow a scale to check the kilos of my luggage from the staff, the hotell dosent have! Even the cheapest motel have! - The hotell says they have wirelsss internet. I tried for three days but it dosent work at all! The staff gave me pin code and everything but it just dosent work. Good with that hotell: - Honestly, I cannot find anything good with that hotell.... I dont recomend people to come here because everything was bad for us. Now I know why it was so c

Nur der Pool auf dem dach ist eine riesen Kathastrophe! Die Überaus freundlichen mitarbeiter haben den pool zwar nach 2-3 tagen endlich in stand gesetzt. Aber in einem Pool der total verdreckt ist will man halt nicht baden gehen!
