I have stayed at the Harbour Grand several times now and it has always been excellent.

Nice and clean rooms. Excellent shower over large tub. Good service. No complaints.

First time I tried a hotel on Hongkong side and picked the best hotel I have tried in Hongkong.

It was the best hotel stay I have experienced. The professional conduct of the staff, the Decore and quality of the hotel and the dinning facilities were first class. When I return to Hong Kong I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

I stayed one night at this hotel during a business trip. I have to say that I wasn't impressed by the surrounding neighbourhood but I guess that is just HK with a mismatch of buildings. The lobby is grand and the service quite fast and efficient. Found the room a bit small (for a Grand deluxe harbour view room), cramped and weird in terms of decoration, with a modern layout with a see-through bathroom all glass thing, but then furniture out of the 80's in the room. The harbour view was nice.

Was pleasently surprised of the quality of the room and breakfast. Will come again.

Great hotel in a good location, close to the metro. We were given a free upgrade and were very happy with our spacious (by Hong Kong standards) room with panoramic views of the harbour. Staff were brilliant, too. Beware of the very expensive restaurants and bar - 2 cocktails cost £20, for example. We would recommend taking the club package at about £25 per person per day which is well worth the price as it includes Internet, breakfast, afternoon tea, bar (6-8 p.m.), unlimited soft drinks and 5p.m. checkout. We would definitely stay there again.

I pay an arm and leg for my room and the front desk wouldnt budge letting me check in a little early. Extremely over priced bar, breakfast, and wifi. For the price of the rooms NO ONE should pay a cent for wifi. Lots of noise from construction. I am not into fancy hotels with over priced extras. I wont book this hotel again unless every other hotel was sold out first. Staff was courtious for the most part, the room was top notch, and the MTR was within 3 minutes walking distance.

there was to much noise from the consturction going on next door.We was on the 39th floor and heard the noise like we was on the 1st floor. Resturant service was very slow and over priced. We had trouble with the WFI (could kept a singal during peak time). Hotel is at hte end of the street and hard to find (land mark for those who go there look for AIA hotel sign next door)

Excellent hotel... very friendly and helpful staff. Great views from the bar/restaurant on 41st floor. On this occasion stayed there with my family and they made them very welcome. A few minutes walk from MTR station and cafe's, shops etc. Ideal fro business or pleasure stay.

I stayed for 2 nights there, super clean, very chic. I loved the bar at the top floor. The only issue was i need to pay extra for the internet access in room. I was expecting that service was included such as that level hotel. I really enjoyed everything else besides that. The location was perfect and the view of sunset harbour in the room was so memorable!!

Alovely hotel overlooking Causeway Bay and with magnificent views over the Harbour.,especially at night from the wonderful restaurant. The staff were marvellous. Our 2nd visit and we were not disappointed again.

The hotel is really nice, great view for the room, rooms are big, bathroom is super nice, fantastic breakfast. Close to the subway station, but lots of construction around, not good for walking around. But still very good hotel, and I will stay again. Love the fruits in the room every day.

Super hotel, convenient, very close to MTR

The hotel is very modern and is very close to the MTR station. The hotel room's view is fantastic. There are also quite a few eateries nearby. The hotel's swimming pool is beautiful, just a pity that I went in the winter, hence did not use it. The male staff at the concierge could be a little more friendlier and with more smiles. Their female counterparts seemed to be more willing to help.

Helpful polite staff at all levels earn its 5stars BUT greedy internet charge. Buffet breakfast Christmas Morning served in a chilly room. I have had better sausages & bacon in meaner establishments. Views from our room & penthouse restaurant overlooking harbour were memorably spectacular. Hotel not very central Disruptive noise from nearby road works & traffic when sitting out on patio. However, my son & I had a fabulous Christmas week!!

Hotel it self is great but surroundings are bad. It's located on back ally and the ex-government building that is now vacant looks like ghost house. And speaking of harbor view, yes I can see the harbor view but the road construction in front of the hotel breaks the nice view. It can be better after the construction is completed but at this moment, I don't want recommend this hotel as 5star.

This new hotel is clean with modern decor, good service and even with harbor view. I guess the reason for the lower rate compare to other hotels is the location. The area is surrounded by small business mainly catering to the local, less ideal for the tourist.

Bad food made me sick, noise from highway, not easy to subway.

Ok hotel a little out of the way but close to the MTR station. Got a room on the 12th floor and the noise of the highway was omnipresent. Internet fee at 18usd is an inconvenience when many hotel offer it for free.

The hotel is delightful inside and while it has close access to the subway it sits below the freeway. Was not able to do much exploring as had a typhoon warning which meant everyone had gone home and locked up.

The Harbour Grand Hong Kong has great views of the habour. The hotel is new and very well maintained. However the breakfast spread choices are limited.

We enjoyed our stay because the service was excellent and the rooms very comfortable. The beds were the best during our entire stay abroad. The hotel is not in the main tourist areas but is close to the MTR and you can get anywhere.

Excellent location, next to the MTR station, and with stunning view of the harbour. Close to some excellent, cheap restaurants. 7-11 close by too. Breakfast was divine, with a large, high quality selection. Nice pool. Clean hotel with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Free shuttle to and from Hong Kong Central station. Good selection of toiletries in bathroom. Highly recommended hotel.

Beautiful and modern hotel, with very helpful staff. I had reserved a regular room with a low rate, but upon arrival I was upgraded to a very large one bedroom corner suite with a kitchenette and breathtaking view! Next time even if they don't upgrade me I will spend whatever it takes to get this larger room because it's worth it. The food at the Breakfast buffet and Afternoon Tea was great. The surrounding area is not suitable to walk around so you would need to take a taxi everywhere, but it is minor flaw that I did not mind.

The Harbor Grand was more beautiful than the website pics give it credit. A gorgeous lobby and rooms with amazing views of the harbor, downtown Hong Kong and Kowloon. The bar and restaurant on the top floor is incredible. Only word of caution is not to use the Grey Line tour service recommended by the concierge. We were very underwhelmed by the Kowloon tour and dinner cruise that the concierge enthusiastically recommended. Other than this, the Harbor Grande was absolutely perfect for our visit to Hong Kong.

5 star hotel but not in a great area. Convenient to metro. Restaurants and facilities fantastic.

This is one of the newest hotel in Hong Kong that provides a wonderful harbor view. The west side of the hotel rooms provide a great view over the center of the Victoria Harbor between Hong Kong island and Kowloon. However, the hotel is not located at the center of the business district nor a shopping center. The buildings and the streets around the hotel looks quite bad and awkward. If you want to go to a nice restaurant or a good place for a drink, you have to take a taxi to travel to other district (like Causeway Bay).

non mainstream location, but good pricing makes up for this. Great views from the top floor restaurant and great outdoor pool.

What a place.. 5 stars.. Great views, great location, great staff. No problems.

My wife, 8-year old daughter and I absolutely LOVED this hotel. The room was clean, and suprisingly large for Hong Kong standards (enough room for a desk to work on and a rollaway bed for my daughter to sleep in). The lobby is stunning, the cafe restaurant was great (albeit a bit pricey), room service was excellent, but most importantly the gym and the swimming pool were fabulous. We stayed for 10 nights, and used the swimming pool 9 of the 10 nights we were there (it's open until 9 pm and heated to 84 degrees). The hotel also arranged for us to have an early check-in (our flight from the US arrived in Hong Kong at 7:00 am and we were in our room by 11:00 am) and a late check-out at 2:00 p.m. All-in-all, it was a great stay at a reasonable price by Hong Kong standards, and it had all of the ammenities that we were looking for.

The hotel is at a quiet cul-de-sac facing the harbour. The view is great. It is also convenient, only 5 minutes walk to the MTR station, which is only 2 stops away from the busy Causeway Bay. The restaurants around the area are mainly for locals, but with good quality and cheaper than those in Causeway Bay and Central. The hotel seems to be targeting for business customers. It has all the quality services you expect from a 5 star hotel. It is good value for money.

The hotel is fabulous, but does the standard high end hotel kind of stuff..... charges exorbitant rates for 24 hour internet access, high cost for breakfast buffet etc. But the room and bathroom are exquisite (careful - the bathroom in my room was separated from the main area only by glass. There is no way of having privacy when using the toilet if there are two of you in the room, unless the other person actually leaves the room.). There are surprisingly few TV channels - about 40, of which only a handful have English language programming, none of which are a movie channel. Traveling on business alone as I do a lot in Asia, I am often in the room after dinner and want to relax by watching TV, but that wasn't so easy her. Though the hotel is very high end, the immediate neighborhood is very low end. But it' feels perfectly safe. The location is also way away from the typical areas in Hong Kong that a visitor or business person might want to visit, but the MTR station is two very short blocks away so it's not really a problem. For cheaper internet access or breakfast coffee you will find several Starbucks lined up on the surrounding streets, just a minute or two away from the hotel. The hotel did not list them in the printed sheet that shows the immediate neighborhood, but they are there.

We decided to upgrade to the Harbor Club package which seems to be well worth the money. We had breakfast on the 41st floor executive lounge. The afternoon tea time and cocktail hours were great. After two nights though, we started to get tired of the food. Maybe, we were really spoiled. If you take a taxi to the hotel, make sure that the taxi driver knows where he is going. We got dropped off at a wrong hotel which has a similar name. That was the only frustration. We found out later that it happened frequently. We would definitely return to the hotel if we have a chance to go back to Hong Kong.
