Great location to the Biltmore and the price was right. Clean and staff very nice. Husband left his meds and they mailed them to our next stop.Will stay again if I'm in the area.

The hotel itself is fine, and we had a nice room. However, the walls and floors are so thin that we could hear our neighbors almost like they were in the same room, especially the side with the connecting door. I could not hear the upstairs neighbors' voices, but I could trace their movement like I was in a house. The connecting door neighbors did not have to speak especially loud for us to hear them. So the first night was a loud experience that made rest impossible, but the second night (when our neighbor was alone in the room) was very pleasant and peaceful.

Room was small and on the freeway side which made for noise and difficulty sleeping. My request for a different room was denied. An outlet at the side of the desk did not work so I unplugged the lamp to use my laptop.

Overall we were quite satified with the holel at this price point. IMPORTANT NOTE: Apparently there are two locations on opposite sides of the city that have the same address. Our navigation system took us on the wrong side of town, out in the middle of no-where (just a couple of shady looking trailers on a side street). We had to call the hotel to get directions back to the hotel's actual location, about 15 minutes drive away. Apparently they have two different zip codes(?) and that is not something we enter into our nav address. I wanted to pass that along to other travelers so that they can hopefully avoid the same problem.

I came to Asheville for 24 hours (it's 2.5 hours from me) because I needed a "break" from my house and city and to spend some time in the mountains to clear my mind. I decided last minute to book this hotel and drive to Asheville to work on my thesis. The process was smooth and the hotel was very accomidating when I asked for a room on the other side so that I could see tree's and sky instead of buildings. The hotel was very clean and well kept - and the room was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and air conditioning unit was very quite and worked great. I loved that there was a little loveseat/couch in the room with a coffee table - I went down the road (about 2 miles) and got Moe's for dinner and a gallon of tea - brougt it back to the hotel and was able to put the left overs in the fridge in the room for the next day. There was also a microwave to heat it back up. In addition to the couch and coffee table, there was also desk with a lamp and convenient plugs to charge my laptop and phone. All in all, I was very happy with the location and the hotel (right of if I-40 and very close to many dining options as well as the Asheville Mall with Barnes and Noble). Highly recommend!

My husband and I took a quick over night trip to Asheville. The hotel was easy to find & right off the interstate. About a 10 minute drive to downtown area to go eat. No problems with A/C or cleanliness of the rooms. (Except a big stain on the floor, looked like kook aid) Bathrooms were nice & updated. We were on the first floor and could hear everything in the hallways. No problems with hearing ppl above us though. The breakfast was simple & sweet. Staff was very nice & friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located right off of I40, and not too far from downtown. We stayed here because we wanted a place to overnight before and after a day at the Biltmore Estate. This hotel was exactly what we needed. The place was up to date, very clean, and staff was friendly. The rooms could have been bigger and there was absolutely no view. If you are the type of person that spends a lot of time at the hotel, this probably isn't the place for you.

Hotel staff made the visit over the top with their care and assistance. Some road noise in end room 2nd floor easily overlooked by care of staff.

This was a good choice for a cheap overnight stay during our road trip. The hotel and room are very dated but the room was a very good size. Ample free parking and a pretty good free breakfast were included, which was good. The hotel is located just off the interstate so easy to get to it, and felt like a safe location, but nothing else is around it (no shops, no restaurants). The bed wasn't very comfortable, but again, it was good for the cheap price. The toiletries are the soap and shampoo industrial-size dispensers that are built into the wall of the shower (like the gym) so be sure to bring your own.

We had a very pleasant experience at the Brookstone Lodge. My only complaint would be the comfort of the pillows and the bed was not as comfortable as we have become accustomed to in comparable hotels. I did request extra pillows and the staff was very accommodating. Those pillows were much better.

The desk clerk was not very friendly nor very helpful. We did not like the location of the hotel since it is in an industrial section of the city.

The hotel was one exit from the Biltmore Estate. It was very nice, clean, comfortable, and served us well. I would recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable Hotel. Our GPS could not find the location but the front desk person helped us find our way. However, he said that several people got to the wrong place using their GPSs. Satellite reception can be patchy in these areas.

The hotel was very clean and in a pretty good location. It does not have a lodge feeling as the photos make it look. If it is kind of new, then they must have bought some things used ie. luggage carts, exercise equipment, lobby furniture. The man at the front desk was not friendly or helpful on the day we checked in or out. Others that were there off and on and the employee that was there in the evening was friendly.

My daughter had surgery at the surgery center across the road from the hotel at 6AM so this location was very convenient for our needs. The hotel itself was very clean and looked very nice. The indoor pool and spa were very clean and the chlorine wasn't too overpowering. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. There was a good variety of foods to pick from at breakfast and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!!!

The room was very nice and clean, it smelled good. The bathroom was nice, the only thing we didn't like was that the towels felt funny, I guess they don't use fabric softener. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast was just okay-I would have liked a little more variety. I think the area around the hotel was really ugly. Absolutely no view of anything-but again, if you are only interested in a place to sleep, it was fine. Desk help not rude or anything but not overly friendly either. The housekeepers were super nice.

My wife and I went to Asheville to see the Biltmore House and just relax for a few days. Brookstone Lodge is in a great location and was a nice clean fairly inexpensive option. We stayed on a end room, and it was pretty noisy though. It is definitely not a luxury hotel, but, for the price, the good outweighed the bad. I would stay there again if we go back to the Biltmore.

The biggest compliment I can give is to the cleanliness. The room, the lobby, the breakfast area, and the pool areas were all exceptionally clean. We loved that the 2 queen bed room also had a sleeper sofa so our boys did not have to share a bed...that was a great surprise. The pool is a bit small, but if you go at the right times, it's not too crowded. In the cool weather, it was very nice to have a heated indoor pool available. The hot tub was excellent. Breakfast options could be a little better..."hot breakfast" consisted of eggs and sausage links both days. and the eggs were lacking in flavor. We can easily look beyond that when we consider the hotel as a whole. It was so clean!!! Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again when in the area.

This hotel was superbly located to view the Biltmore Estate, however, there were no convenient restaurants. The room was rather small, but clean and pleasant. We would stay there again if we were in the area. We had absolutely no problems with the staff. It was a pleasant experience.

Very clean hotel and great location, though the breakfast room was not nearly large enough to accommodate all of the people and chaos in the mornings.

Just an average hotel, but a good value for what we paid.

Hotel was not centrally located in the heart of Asheville. No stores or restaurants anywhere close by. At check in the front desk guy was not very informative about the hotel or area. Asked him one simple question about a Restaraunt & he told me to read a brochure & handed me a map. We were supposed to get a Queen bed, instead they stuck us in a room that was so small, next to the elevator with a standard bed (barely the size of a double.) the bed was horribly uncomfortable!!! Internet was hardly working. Overall, out experience was bad. We will not stay here again.

This hotel was very clean and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Asheville.

We loved staying here. The welcoming fireplace and comfortable room were a welcome relief from the cold. Very nice place! We will definitely be back.

Great location, rooms very clean, and GREAT price! We will definitely be going back.

The hotel was super nice, clean and new. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The price was great too! My only complaint was that my room was a bit small but it was only me and so it was perfect. And you will need a car if staying here. Taxis were expensive. But I cannot say enough about the staff! Southern hospitality all the way.

This appears to be a newly built hotel, probably not more than 10 years old. The rooms were in good condition, and bathroom fixtures were attractive. Only a few minutes away from the Biltmore, which is a straight drive down the road that runs in front of the hotel.

Good value for the money, but remember, it's not much money. It was clean, convenient and not expensive.

It was a nice, clean hotel. Location wasn't very convenient and had traffic noise because it's located between the freeway and a busy road.

No place to eat within a mile (expect Subway). Definitely need a car if you're staying here, not within walking distance of downtown and even Biltmore is a hike. That said, the hotel itself seems pretty new and really well-maintained. Very clean, very comfortable, pretty decent breakfast. Friendly enough service.

Room clean, service excellent, location excellent for visit to Biltmore. Excellent breakfast in comfortable room. Chlorination was very strong in pool.

The staff at Brookstone was 100% helpful, from all services to questions about nearby attractions. I made great use of the pool & hot tub, and the room itself was great - exceedingly comfortable beds, lots of personal space, a roomy bathtub, and a surprisingly wide array of TV channels to choose from (granted, not that I watched much TV). It's close to a few great places to eat, and only a few minutes from downtown Asheville. I'm definitely looking forward to going back.

Stayed February 24- March 4 at Brookstone Lodge. I found it to be a very convenient easy location. From the road the hotel faces: to the right you will arrive at Biltmore Estate and to the left you will arrive at Asheville Airport. It is also adjacent to exit for I-40. The hotel is very clean, front desk always staffed and helpful. My room was a single and while on the small side it is perfect for solo travel. It is furnished with nice refrigerator and microwave. My only complaints are: the bed and pillows could be softer and I would have preferred the generous sized tv be hung slightly lower on the wall (it was very close to ceiling height). Overall a great value and wonderful place to stay.

The hotel was great. Easy check in, good breakfast, well maintained , hotel, very clean, friendly staff, normal amenities like pool-jacuzzi-cable, it is right off the highway, minutes away from the main Asheville actractions. It was quite nice to stay in. The only draw back was the thin walls-we could hear children-which is a drag when you are trying to sleep... Also Hotels.com could you have a sport/fitness category for your leisure activities (we were in Asheville for the Marathon but we have no real category to put down and I imagine those who play competitive sports other than golf would fit into a sport/fitness category...).

Excellent. First 2 nights in holiday trip to USA on way to Charleston, Savannah and New Orleans .

A beautiful place. Very warm and inviting. Breakfast was not too well done. Milk for cereal was all gone. We shall return. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were cozy and the hotel was located close to good eats and right near the interstate for easy access to surrounding areas. One con I could say is they don't have enough luggage carts. I will stay there again.
