Hotel Meraviglia - רומא

Hotel Meraviglia is cheap but the property is in good repair and the rooms are cleaned daily. We had trouble getting in when we arrived late at night (22.15). No one was there to greet us but as soon as we rang the hotel's phone number (I'd recommend taking this with you as it's not on display anywhere) someone was with us in 3 minutes. The building is easy to find if you look for the address, but difficult to find if you look for a sign! The sign for the hotel is small and the building itself is part of a terraced row of shops and apartment buildings. We walked past the hotel as the outside of the building looks like an apartment block. The room we had was a decent size bedroom with an en suite bathroom at the front of the hotel. The shower was really powerful and everything was cleaned on a daily basis. The area got a bit noisy a couple of nights as there's a bar in the square outside, but it depends how light a sleeper you are. Meraviglia is no 5* hotel and there are no dining area but it's a great place to stay if you're just looking for a room from which to explore the city. It's pretty much on top of the metro station and it's only one stop from the termini (or 20mins walking distance). We had a really nice time there and would go back again but if you're expecting the Ritz you'll be disappointed.

This B&B was a bit hard to find upon first arriving, however its within walking distance of the Colosseum and a block from the subway. The staff was very helpful and gave us a map outlining where everything was and the best way to get there. The only downside to the hotel was that surround neighborhood...there wasn't a lot to do or restaurants we were able to locate, however, you can't beat the ease of travel from the location.

The hotel itself was what I was expecting for the price. Simple and basic but clean and convenient. We were suprised to have a bar fridge as the other places we had stayed at similar rates did not have a fridge at all. My only complaint was that we had some very unusual didturbances both nights from neighboring rooms. We found it covenient for food, shopping and most importantly it was east to find our way to the tourist sites.

Our room in this hotel is small but clean and warm, which has independent bath room. It has very convenient location. Just two minutes to a medro station entrance and the station is a next one to the termini station, the traffic center of Rome. The owners were friendly and helpful. Considering its low price, I was satisfied to their service and like to recommend this hotel. Our room was beside a main street, so it is not suitable to a person very sensitive to the noise and street lights. But it was not serious, which was not a problem to my wife and me. Another shortcoming is that the sign of this hotel is not very obvious, so there is a little difficult to find it at the first time.

friendly staff although one would not see them again after check in. They give you a map and show you where to go, explain everything in the room and that includes how to operate the TV set and the AC unit. There is no lobby or anything fancy, so when you check out you just leave the key in a drawer. Actually the guest gets three keys; one for the main door of the building, one for the hotel door and one for the room. Location is good as it is close to the subway. Room is clean and all in all it is good value for the money.

Litet, fräscht och trevligt hotell. Skulle bo där nästa gång jag åker till Rom.

Hotellet ligger i gåafstand fra Termini, hvilket er rigtig dejligt efter en lang rejse. Personalet er søde og imødekommende, og der blev gjort rent hver dag. Lige ved hotellet ligger en metrostation, hvorfra man kan komme rundt til alle seværdighederne. Det eneste negative, der er at sige er, at der var meget lydt på vores værelse- ikke udefra, men fra de andre værelser og gangen. Og så faldt de to senge let fra hinanden. Men alt i alt kan det sagtens anbefales og vi ville bo der igen.

El hotel está sucio, inseguro, tiene mala atención recomiendo no hospedarse en él

Ótima localização (perto a estação de metrô e a 15' a pé do coliseu) Quarto confortável! O prédio é ruim e fica numa rua pouco movimentada a noite que aparenta ser perigosa, porém é super tranquila e segura. A recepção do hotel não é 24h, portanto se for fazer o check in tarde, avise a recepção para que alguém possa te receber. Estadia excelente!

Prima hotel voor een stedentrip. Op loopafstand van het station en op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen naar het Colosseum. De in en uitgang van de metro is vlak voor het hotel zodat alle bezienswaardigheden makkelijk te bezichtigen zijn. Hotel (lift aanwezig) is op de eerste verdieping. Iedere dag schone handdoeken en om de dag werd het bed verschoond. Keurig en schoon hotel. Geen ontbijt, maar dat is in een stad als Rome geen probleem.

hôtel excessivement bruyant avec un double vitrage inefficace : il faut vraiment être très fatigué pour dormir. pas de petit déjeuner sur place très peu de restaurants autour pas de parking chambres petites mais correctes sdb correcte entrée du métro à 100 mts ( pour la place d'espagne, la gare, la cité du vatican ) il y a moyen de trouver mieux ou moins mal à rome

Prés de la gare, face au tramway et à 2 minutes à pied du métro. Excellent accueil.

De ligging is prima, we hebben heel veel te voet kunnen doen. De kamer was schoon, elke dag werd het bed opgemaakt en schone handdoeken geleverd. Wifi internet is gratis (ongeveer 6,5 Mb/s down en 1 Mb/s up). Het hotel ligt aan een druk park in een Aziatische buurt waar 's avonds veel mensen bier staan te drinken, maar we hebben ons nooit onveilig gevoeld. Airconditioning moet voor betaald worden in juli en augustus: 10 euro per dag. Dat vind ik een slechte service omdat juist in deze maanden de temperatuur kan oplopen tot 40 graden. Geen ontbijt, maar genoeg winkels in de buurt, bij station Termini zit een Spar supermarkt en heel veel avondwinkeltjes in de buurt. Het hotel is inderdaad makkelijk over het hoofd te zien, maar met de aanwijzingen van andere reviews konden wij het in 1 keer vinden. Ik zou dit hotel zeker aanraden.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à Meraviglia et nous sommes très satisfaits! Ménage et serviettes propres tous les jours, salle de bain nickel. Acceuil est vraiment sympa, 10 min à pied de Colisée et 5 min à pied de la gare. Très bon rapport qualité/prix!
