Overall, this place was great -very clean with friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast. My only minor issue was the shower was a little short of hot water on one occasion - not cold, but not as hot as it should have been. Location is right next to a major road - not in town - but if you're there for the skiing, lakes, or mountains, it's a good convenient base.

We stayed for 2 nights for a combination business/leisure trip. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and compassionate. For the price, it went well beyond our expectations. We will certainly be back if we ever find the need for a hotel stay in the area again!

Friendly staff - room was nice EXCEPT for the pull out couch which needed a new mattress. It was shaped like an S and luckily it was a kid that was sleeping on it! I checked out early and there was no one at the desk. There was a sign that said use the house phone to call for help but there was NO phone within site so I just left a note with my key card.

We loved our room .It was so clean and new .The hotel staff was very welcoming and the location was 10 minutes nfrom Weir beach , Gunstock and just about everything . We would recommend highly to anyone looking to stay in the lakes region.

Close enough to get to Weirs, far enough to be out of the crowds. The problem we had was that we did not know that they do not rollaways, our son ended up sleeping in a chair. we overheard another group with the same problem and one of them was saying he took pillows and slept on the floor. Pool is very small. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

This was our son's first trip and we're so glad we stayed at the Marriot, we will always look for a Marriot when we travel, it's so clean and modern. I love the townplace because the little kitchen made a big difference, we weren't sure if there were any dishes, but as we looked there was, pots and pans also. We love the cute little Pamolive bottle, it was the cutest thing. I will not stay anywhere else besides the Marriot.

My friend and I came up to go skiing for the weekend. The hotel is newly built or renovated, and is very nice, and clean. Housekeeping was very friendly, and generous when we asked for a little extra. Front desk staff was very helpful. Easy to get to and in a nice area. Not much to do around, and Gps has problems, but would definitely stay again.

The staff was very courteous and I found no vermin, so this hotel is safe, yet there are a few things that really bothered me about this hotel. What bothered me the most about this hotel and many hotels is that they didn't give me a full roll of toilet paper. They gave me a skimpy, sliver of a toilet paper roll. There was a reserve roll under the sink, but that is not the point-- I paid good money for this hotel, I don't want to use someone else's toilet paper roll! I always do a thorough bedbug check, so I looked under the mattress. It was pretty dirty under the mattress. Once the mattress is removed you can see all the scuz. It is just the illusion that this room is clean. I had a room in the front. And there was hardly any shielding from the light. I got an incredible blast of light in the morning. Vampires should avoid this place. This hotel is fine; I just think it's way overpriced.

Our family of 4 stayed here during our ski vacation. The double queen room with full kitchen and large bathroom was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the pool. A hearty, free continental breakfast got us off to a good start each day. The hotel is only 5 miles from Gunstock and offers discounted lift tickets to the mountain - no need to book online a day ahead, which worked out great for us because the weather was questionable. We would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I stayed overnight to do some shopping in Tilton. Great location and great hotel for the price. We had a king size bed, kitchen, couch and table, flat screen TV and great bathroom! Breakfast was continental, but still good for the price. The staff was friendly and had directions to everything we needed to get to, including great information on local restaurants. Pool was ok size, but I will say it seemed really chlorinated. Other than that great stay and we will be staying there again!

Hotel, location, staff, room, ETC were up to or exceeded my expectations and is equal to most Marriott properties. Comfortable place to catch a night or a week. Nicely furnished room, could easily stay a week if needed. Nice kitchenette.

Extermely satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The front desk was more than helpful, room was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Also, this hotel was located 10 minutes from Gunstock which is a great place to go skiing. Overall my stay was exceptional and I was very pleased.

great modern place to stay close to most lake interests and good food near by. Try and get a room away from main lobby can get noise traffic late at night.

I loved the hotle staff...they made it so nice...they were great to my dog...I would reccommend this hotel to to my friends!!!

This was a clean, nice hotel and I'm glad we stayed here. The kitchenettes were very convenient and large. We keep kosher and often travel with food. This was the perfect size kitchen for our family. The room was very clean and the mattresses on the bed were very comfortable. Closets were a good size too. The pool was closed for our short overnight stay but we weren't really expecting to go swimming. The water had been used the previous day by a large group of kids so I appreciated the hotel staff keeping its guests away from the yucky water. I'd also comment that the lobby is very bright and has a nice fireplace. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel,spotless everywhere, staff very friendly and very helpful, will even book tickets for you for example to the Cog Railway at Mount Washington which is fantastic, wrap up warm it was freezing at the top. Breakfast was cereals, muffins, bagels, yohurts, fruit etc., fresh and plentiful. No where to eat out on site but you have kitchen area if you want to cook for yourselves or very good restaurants about 3/4 miles away but we chose to have a take away delivered to the hotel on 2 nights (after full days out) and its not just pizza! various salads, meatballs, pasta etc. Reception will provide details of ones in the area. Beware huge portions!! A good place to stay as a base if touring the area. Lake Winnipesaukee is worth a boat trip. Swimming pool on the small side but again well kept. 6 happy adults from Yorkshire enjoyed their stay - October 2010

Staff were excellent very friendly and accomadating. Excellent room, nice and clean and had everything you needed. Great location to Laconia and to Meadowbrook Pavillion. Convienent. Really made out trip pleasurable.
