room was not as described. full beds instead of queen sleep sofa was not a queen but barely a twin. room was suppose to sleep 7 but barely slept 5. but overall place was clean great pool and breafast at the diner was great.

Central location, only minutes from downtown Gloucester and Rockport. A short drive to Salem. The breakfast cafe food was great. No need to search for a restaurant for breakfast. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Although Cape Hedge Inn is a lovely hotel, we were looking for a hotel closer to Rockport or Gloucester. This Inn is far off the beaten path; it would be a wonderful place to stay if one wanted quiet, beach, and a lovely neighborhood. We arrived after 9:00, when the desk closes, but our information and key was readily available. However, our room had only two hand towels and one washcloth; no bath towels at all. Since the desk was closed, we could not obtain bath towels until the next morning at 9:00 a.m.

this is a very quaint hotel. It was very clean and the atmosphere beach like. The indoor pool was like bathwater, so relaxing. There is a cafe on site for breakfast only.I would recommend cape hedge inn for your next stay in Gloucester.

The inn did have a friendly staff & clean rooms, but was a more modest "motel". Served its purpose, as we just needed a one night stay and we were arriving late. Directions from their web-site were vague--- mentioned going into Gloucester, but didn't say which exit to take. Once in Gloucester (and late at night) we had to find someone to draw us a map of how to get to the inn. Still was a bit confusing. Breakfast was handy in the morning.

We stayed just one night at this Hotel in a short visit to Rockport. Rockport is a few minutes drive. The hotel is within walking distance to two local beaches, including the. Rocky but beautiful Loblolly Cove. Breakfast at. The Diner style hotel restaurant was wonderful. I would definately stay here again. There is an indoor pool.

This location worked for us, about half way between Good Harbor Beach and downtown Rockport. It had all you needed to stay and sleep, and the price was good compared to surrounding places.

Eher einfaches Inn, etwas ausserhalb von Rockport gelegen, aber mit dem Auto kein Problem. Die Einrichtung war einfach, aber sauber. Die Bedienung an der Reception war ok, aber nicht sonderlich freundlich. Vorteilhaft war das Cafe im Inn, bei welchem man am morgen ausreichend Frühstücken kann (nicht im Preis inbegriffen).
