Hotel Ampervilla - Fahrenzhausen

My husband and I stayed the weekend (2nights). It was a lovely stay. The hotel staff went over and above to help out with everything from transportation to coffee delivered to our room. Our room was quite spacious compared to what I was expecting. The breakfast was fanominal with homemade jams, german breakfast cuisine as well as some american favorites. (Bacon, eggs, etc.) and we didnt have to pay a fee for it! wifi was iffy but free also. the hotels restaurant was delicious as well as affordable. But dont go in there looking to get a €20 meal. It was €40 for me and my husband. The style and food were very classy and filling. There were some down sides. Getting there was a journey! We were unfamiliar with the local transportation which ended up costing us. 30 minutes away from the main downtown area but they have their own taxi guy who has a fixed rate and was about €10 cheaper. There was small traces of dog hair on the top blanket but it is a pet friendly hotel. We simply just removed it. Most hotels in the states don't even wash the top cover! Overall, our stay was delightful and affordable. We loved it!

This hotel was listed under the "romantic catagory". Not romantic at all. The price was higher than it's worth. The rooms were clean, location poor in an industrial area. Would have chosen differently had I known what I know now.

Hotel is located north of the centre of Munich, a short distance from the main 99 motorway road, so a little out in the countryside but nice, quiet property that sits in lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Hotel service was great, rooms were comfortable & clean, large bathroom & fantastic buffet breakfast, lots of choice & all very fresh. Getting to Munich is relatively straight forward, the hotel is approximately 3 miles away from the nearest trainline (the S1) that links from the Airport to the centre of town so a car is probably advisable as the roads between the station and the hotel aren't set up for pedestrians even if you'd like to walk it & at the time of our stay there wasn't a bus service. Train service is great & takes you straight into the centre of Munich within about 30 minutes so very easy. Would definately recommend.

staff was very helpful and rooms were clean. hotel is less than 30 mins from downtown Munich. if you have your own transportation, this is the best deal in munich as far as hotels.

This is an excellent hotel in nearly every respect. We enjoyed the food and service at the restaurant, the entire facility was very clean and well kept, and the staff is very helpful and some speak very good English. We stayed during a heat wave so with the windows open (no air conditioning which we knew about prior to booking) there was a considerable amount of road noise during the night. Regardless the stay was very enjoyable.

Price - offer was OK.

The Ampervilla has a wonderful charm about it, The decor is warm and inviting and the rooms are well appointed. Bathrooms were spacious and very nice decor. The food and service were excellent. My only negative comment is the wireless internet. The main wifi didn't seem to be working and the backup wifi network was very weak and constantly lost signal. I would definitely stay at Ampervilla again.

We arrived in the dark, so didn't see the beauty of the surrounding landscape until morning. Of the 2 rooms we had, one stunk of cigarettes, so forced my biz partner to move downstairs where noisy. Beds were big, but a little old, tho still ok for sleeping. Rooms were quite large & internet was free, easy to access. Staff was wonderful, food was fantastic, from dinner to the included breakfast. On arrival they had cookies & Gluhwein, a welcoming feature on a cold December night. Truly very very quiet in the countryside, making for a lovely walk in the morning. We had some issues about the room, but they were quickly resolved, so we enjoyed our brief stay.

clear, good price, -service, -location

This is a very great hotel. Big rooms with balcony in a very green nature and near to Munich and Airport. Very nice service, very clean, pets are welcome, very good breakfast menue, eggs and coffe will be made on your wishes. Very silent, wellness service is offering. I am travelling over 200 nights per year and this a very good and special hotel. I will come back!!

My husband and I are Americans living in Germany. We have learned that when we travel we should look for hotels that seem to have American style bedding. This hotel looked promising but the beds were typical German single beds on wheels, rolled together and with separate sheets and comforters. My husband literally rolled away from me and almost fell into the crack when trying to snuggle. And I awoke feeling sore with tight muscles from a very stiff mattress. We brought our own pillows, so that made it better, but I really do not understand how European hotels can claim to be 4 star if their beds are so uncomfortable and they do not encourage romance or intimacy. Other than the typically uncomfortable bed, the hotel was lovely. We ate dinner at the restaurant and although the portions were not as big as we would have hoped (we are too used to Bavarian cooking perhaps?), the taste and quality were superb. The hotel was quiet and easily accessed from the autobahn, but really is in the middle of nowhere, which suited us fine. We had a balcony room which allowed a lot of light into the room during the day, which I appreciated. The breakfast was great. A good selection of eggs, meats, fruits, breads, juices, teas, milk and coffee. Since it was included in the night's price, it was a very good value! Oh, and the Do Not Disturb sign was in the cabinet with the laundry bag. It took us our whole stay to find it but we didn't have any issues without it, so it wasn't a problem. :)

Leuk gemoedelijk hotel in een rustige omgeving. Uitstekend en uitgebreid ontbijt, echt heerlijk om zo de dag te beginnen ! Erg vriendelijk personeel. Het hotel ligt wel een stukje buiten Munchen, maar met de auto naar P+R station en dan met de Metro naar de stad is uitstekend te doen. WIFI was minder, deed het meestal niet. Uitstekende gratis parkeerplaats naast het hotel. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

A szobák tiszták, kényelmesek, tágasak, szépek.A reggeliző helyiség nagyon hangulatos, a reggeli pedig osztályon felüli volt, minőségi ételekkel, hatalmas választékkal.A személyzet udvarias, készséges, barátságos.A szauna helység hangulatos, igényesen berendezett.A kilátás nem a legjobb , de ez semmit nem rontott a minőségen és az ott tartózkodáson. A szobák ablakai hangszigeteltek, így semmi zaj nem szűrődött be az utcáról. Ajánlom ezt a hotelt, a legjobb választás volt.

Wir waren nun schon das zweite Mal im Hotel Ampervilla.Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Tolle Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, selbst bei Sonderkost, gemütliche Bar, hier kann man den Tag ganz entspannt ausklingen lassen.

Das Hotel Ampervilla hat eine gute bis sehr gute Ausstattung. Der Service ist gut. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich und bemüht die Wünsche des Gastes zu erfüllen. Der vielleicht einzige Nachteil ist der Standort des Hotels. Das Hotel ist zwar nur ca. 25 min vom Flughafen entfernt, aber man braucht immer ein Auto. Für mich war dies jedoch nicht so wichtig. Wer auch mit eigenem Auto/ Mietauto anreist, dem kann ich dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist relativ neu bzw. vor nicht allzu langer Zeit saniert. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, der Service erstklassig, die Zimmer sehr sauber, großes Badezimmer mit kompletter Ausstattung, ordentlich großer Fernseher, kostenloses W-Lan, ausreichend Parkplätze vor der Tür, Restaurant mit italienischem Flair im Haus. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Einflugschneiße des Münchener Flughafens, nachts scheint jedoch Flugverbot zu sein, es war ruhig. Nur 5 min mit dem Auto zum Park&Ride Bahnhof Lohof, und man ist in 30 min in der City. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Frühstück, sehr vielfältig, auch Lactosefreies, und auch Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Da Buchung über Hotel.de, war der Aufenthalt auch preislich in Ordnung, in der Innenstadt München ist es deutlich teurer. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Haus!

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus mit guter Küche und einem super leckeren Frühstück. Leider gibt es in der Umgebung nicht ausser Wiesen und Hügel, ohne Auto läuft da nix.

Schönes sauberes Hotel und freundliches Personalgünstig. Leckeres Frühstück für einen guten Preis. Man ist auch schnell in München. Neben dem Hotel ist eine Spedition und ein riesiger Platz mit alten Autos. Die stark befahrene Straße hört man sehr. Im Sommer Fenster aufmachen geht gar nicht.

Lage und Ausstattung waren für unseren Aufenthalt optimal. Sehr großes Bad, leider war der Handtuchtausch nicht so gut gelungen. Bei Anreise waren vier große Handtücher vorhanden, für die zweite Nacht nur noch ein großes und ein kleines, hier müsste die Belegung überprüft werden, da vermutlich viele Einzelreisende das Hotel buchen. Auch wurde die Minibar nicht wieder aufgefüllt, weshalb Servicequalität zur Herabstufung führte

Angenehmer Aufenthalt, empfehlen wir weiter und nutzen sicher wieder.

Qualité de l'accueil et petit-déjeuner copieux. Chambres spacieuses et calmes. Wifi de qualité médiocre et éloignement excessif toutefois.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden, gute Kuche und ruige lage. Wr kommen gerne wieder.

toller Aufenthalt in einem sehr angenehmen Hotel, dass die 4 Sterne auf jeden Fall verdient hat. Die Hotel liegt neben einen Autohandel, welches aber überhaupt nicht stört.

Godt hotell med god standard på rom og restaurant. Det ligger ca 20 minutters kjøring fra flyplassen og München er også lett tilgjengelig med bil. Bra i forhold til prisen.

Rundherum gelungen, nicht zentral zu München aber mit dem Fahrzeug ist das Zentrum in ca. 20 Minuten gut erreichbar.Top Service, sauber, hervorragendes Frühstück. Gerne wieder.

Für die eine Nacht wegen einem Geschäftstermin fand ich den Aufenthalt - inzwischen zum zweiten mal sehr angenehm.

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig auf dem Weg nach Österreich. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Küche hatte ein reichhaltiges Angebot und das Essen schmeckte sehr gut. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben.

En passant par le site Hotels.com le tarif payé pour la nuit avec petit déjeuner et nettement plus intéressant que le prix affiché à l'hôtel (qui est, à mon sens, vraiment exagéré). L'hôtel est situé dans une zone industrielle et notre chambre donnait sur un parking de camions et de vieille ferraille. Pas très romantique. Il est à noté que l'hôtel est assez bruyant et l'accès au WIFI impossible depuis notre chambre au 2étage. Nous avons diné au restaurant de l'hôtel et c'était un bon rapport qualité-prix ainsi que le petit déjeuner qui est très copieux. En résumé, pour une nuit c'est un bon choix.

We chose the comfort room and got a good offseason price. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean with pleasent decoration. The room had a balcony and a very large bath room with a tub. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant and also visited the hotel sauna which was quite OK. I would go there again if we would get the same deal for the price.

Good hotel, comfortable rooms.There was no chance to reserve double room with twin beds online however there were such rooms available. They have charged us for the "extra bed". This was disappointing. Anyway the restaurant and the service is good. The breakfast is really superb for four star.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, würden durchaus wieder buchen. Die Zimmer sind warm und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zudem wirkt die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, allerdings beim Essen ab und an etwas überpräsent. Die Stimmung beim Essen ist etwas steif, aber sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Bas Büffett ist nicht sehr groß was schon allein an der Größe des Essbereichs liegt. Dort befinden sich 4-5 große Tische mit jeweils etwa 7-8 Sitzplätzen. Dafür ist aber alles vorhanden was zu einem vollwertigen Frühstück dazugehört, Brot, versch. Brötchen, Joghurt, Quark, versch. Konfitüren, frische Früchte und Obst, harte u weiche Frühstückseier, Rührei mit und ohne Speck, Frankfurter, Weißwurst, Käse und Lachs. Auch versch. Säfte, Tee den man selbst aufbrühen kann, Kaffe und auch Sekt. Das Abendessen wird mit großzügigen Portionen serviert. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, weswegen man eine gewisse Wartezeit in Kauf nehmen sollte. Die Preise im Restaurante sind nicht die allergünstigsten, bewegen sich aber im Verhältnis zur Qualität absolut im Rahmen. Unterm Strich ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Een perfect hotel, op korte afstand van de snelweg. Een probleem. Het hotel wordt met regelmaat gebruikt voor bedrijfsfeesten, bruiloften - waardoor slapen onmogelijk is. Feesten duren soms tot 2 uur in de nacht - en na klachten bij de receptie begrepen we dat dit niet uitzonderlijk is. Dat dit met grote regelmaat voorkomt. Een afrader dus als je voor je rust komt, een hotel langs de snelweg met open ramen is nog beter. ------------------------------------------- A perfect hotel a short distance from the highway. Only one problem. It is regularly used for corporate events, weddings - making sleep impossible. Festivities can last up to 2 hours in the night - and after complaints to the reception we understood that this is not exceptional. That this occurs with great regularity. Not recommendable for you so if you want to rest. A hotel along the highway with the windows open is even better.
