Albergo Mediterraneo - Terracina

The hotel was very comfortable and most of he staff very welcoming. However the pool attendant working the afternoon shift appeared to be very unhappy with our group of guests for no obvious reason. He regularly accosted us for even very minor misunderstandings and made little effort to positively interact with our group. Often we were simply doing as the other guests of hotel.

Stayed here prior to a cruise out of Rome. Was looking for something near Sperlonga, but this was closest available for the time of the year - mid August. Very nice people, helpful with questions and no problem with English. Two blocks from beach and they have a deal with a private beach where you get two chairs and an umbrella for low price. The pool is huge, and some may prefer that instead of the beach. Close to restaurants and groceries. Not really within walking distance of the town of Terracina, but if you have a car it's worth driving to see. Breakfast buffet was fine and the hotel had WiFi in the lobby that reached to the pool and maybe the front rooms. Only problem we had was the first room the A/C wasn't working. Also the power in the room kept switching on and off. We were moved the next morning. The A/C in that room didn't cool very well, but at least it got rid of the humidity, which the first room didn't. Price was a bit high for what you got, but that may be normal that time of year in that location.

I was quite disappointed as I thought the standard would be higher considering the 4 stars and the price. There was no information whatsoever about the place in English, either about the surroundings or the hotel itself, room-service-menues etc. There was very little choice of food in the restaurant which looked more like a canteen than anything else. The so called "satellite-TV" had one foreign channel in Russian only. We had to bring down empty glasses ourselves to the bar as room-service did not include for them to be collected. The door to the shower didn't close properly, the bikes that they rented out were punctured, the list could go on. But thanks to nature itself and the closeness to the lovely beach we did have a good stay in Terracina.

Jättefin anläggning nära havet (ca 100 m) Lugnt poolområde. Låg ca 2 km från centrum men det fanns bra bussförbildelser utanför hotellet för en billig peng. Vill man gå kan man gå strandpromenad hela vägen in.

It is a great hotel, but the quality of the breakfast could be improved, and here the cappucino was not good.

Personnel très pro et sympa. Super petit déjeuné. Manque uniquement pas de centre de remise en forme ni de sauna comme annoncé sur votre site par contre il y a un bain à remous extérieur. Cours d'acqua gym offert aux clients le lundi et le jeudi soir.

La prima cosa che mi domando e con quale Criterio vengono date le Stelle alle strutture Alberghiere, l'unica Certezza che ho, e che non sono veritiere. Sicuramente abbiamo a che fare con una Struttura che ha personale molto Gentile, la Posizione è Sicuramente Ottima ma, la cosa più importante secondo me riguarda la Pulizia delle Stanze e, per questo motivo ritengo questa Struttura veramente Pessima. Cambio lenzuola Fittizio, se si trovano ancora Sabbia e Capelli nel letto, anche se è stato effettuato il Cambio della Stanza, abbiamo riscontrato lo stesso Problema. Ritengo che l'Igene è al primo posto nella Valutazione dell'Albergo, quindi ritengo la Struttura non Sufficente.

Fint hotell. Ligger isentralt, langt og gå til byen, samt utenfor sesong så er hele området då og si dødt. Dette er på godt og vondt. Dårlig med reatauranter, ikke buss. taxi kun frem til 23.00 - så her ble det tidlige kvelder

Veldig skuffet over dette hotellet, og det fortjener absolutt ikke sine 4 stjerner. Frokosten var helt tragisk. Vi måtte mase på den sure betjeningen om påfyll av mat og kaffe hver eneste dag. Hotellet lå "øde"til ca 2 km utenfor Terracina sentum med få restauranter i nærheten. Heldigvis hadde vi leiebil. Syklene hotellet leide ut var ubrukelige og uten lys. Rommet var ok men veldig trang dusj. Forferdelig lytt mellom værelsene og ut i gangen. Betjeningen i resepsjonen var hyggelig og badebassenget og solstolområdet var bra og fredelig.

Terracina är en underbar badort på Tyrrenska Rivieran. Jag har under åren besökt snart alla delar av Italien men alltid återvänt hit då det är det ultimata resmålet om man söker avkoppling, fantastisk sandstrand, genuin italiensk mat och trevlig atmosfär. På vår resa denna gång blev besöket endast 2 dag då vi sedan fortsatte söderut. Hotellet ligger på 3 min. avstånd från den 7 km långa sandstranden, har trevlig personal, ok fruktost och bra, svala rum. Inte det billigaste så här i högsäsong, men väl värt priset. Rekommenderas varmt.
