This hotel is great, new, clean and very service oriented. The rooms are big and the beds were comfy. Great restaurant next door, would definitely stay there again.

Nice room, cable flat screen tv, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, what else do u need? not from around SD so idk what is around the area, seemed pretty isolated, its near the fwy, in n out walking distance, nice little park closeby too. Would definitly stay there again

it was not exciting stay. hotel.com has the option to get the breakfast but it is only for two (it does not mention it on the website)

Nice location and exceed my expectation.

Once I found out about the trolley station within easy walking distance, the location of the hotel became much more desirable The room was great and the service very good..

I loved everything about this hotel. It is just like you see it on the website; it is new and clean. The staff at the front desk were very professional and nice, as well as the rest of the staff in the hotel. Parking is great and the hotel is in a very good location....right between the mexican border and San Diego. I will recommend it to all my friends.

Spotless hotel and very quiet with double paned windows. Be prepared to drive everywhere. The restaurant next store was not very good Excellent freeway access. A pleasant surprise!

this is a top notch hotel. the front desk staff are all courteous and very helpful. the rooms are large, clean, and well kept. it is 4 miles from the zoo, and only like 7 from gas lamp. pretty easy to find also. the only complaint i have is that the hotel is pretty noisy. we were close to a stair way and people would slam the doors all the time. also, the maids liked to vacuum adjoining rooms at 8:30-9:00 in the morning on saturday...and they would bang that poor vacuum into the walls the entire time.

The only problem was the restaurant,buster's. the food tasted old. Service was good but it doesn't make up for quality of food.

Affordable, convenientclean and centrally located.

Hotel was very clean and either recently built or extremely well maintained. The staff was very friendly and willing to offer help. Room was clean and included a microwave and refrigerator. The restaurant next door was fantastic.

Great hotel. It looks brand new. The restaurant in front of this hotel is great. I wish it could have more discount for hotel guests.

Seems like a relatively new hotel based on the condition. We had a room that was a good size with a nice size LCD tv. The swimming pool and outside spa was good and the kids enjoyed using it. The only down-side to the hotel is that it's in the middle of no-where. No convenient stores near by so definitely need to have a car to get anywhere. Having said that it was close to the Mexico border so if you were doing day trips or to outlet stores near by then it's not a bad location.

This hotel is a great find. It is a newer property and is very well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Conveniently located right off the 5 freeway. The best part is that we were able to bring our doggie with us. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel was great and the service from the staff was pleasant. All of the things you would want from a quality room are there. An Iron, ironing board, fridge, microwave, gas station within a mile, restaurant across the parking lot with happy hour and a meal discount for hotel guest. The downside - getting there from other places during weekday commute times is painfully slow. My 23 minute ride to my destination multiplied into a 3 hour nightmare getting back when the rain hit during the traffic peak, Keep this in mind if you are going to Qualcomm. Other than that - the hotel is not near other local establishments. You can get to a Super Walmart, a CVS, or downtown within 15 minutes if you use Google maps.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Stayed here for a weekend with my wife and it was awesome. Brand new with great rooms and service.

Great hotel, great location, great restaurant, will stay again! Just one bad thing though, the air conditioner was very loud and kept turning off, couldn't hear the tv. Other than that, we will definately stay again:)

Had an amazing stay. I give this hotel an A+++++ as soon as we stepped foot inside the hotel all you smell is cleanliness. Staff was very polite and very helpful when I needed directions and suggestions. I requested an extra clean room due to allergies and they did just that and did not complain. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. A more modern look. There is an on site restaurant that upon time of check in at 3pm happy hour is going on. Perfect timing to go grab a drink and relax. Food was great and at a great price. My only negatives would be that it was pretty distant from all the action of San Diego. Took like 10 minutes to get to Sea World but other than that my stay was perfect.

Between the loud bands at the restaurant across the parking lot and the obnoxiously loud AC unit, sleep was nearly impossible.

It was a ok stay

The hotel is very clean and good deal for the money you pay through hotel.com. Highly recommend it.

New hotel, clean rooms. Location near hwy 5, 10 min from downtown San Diego. I would rate it 4 out of 5 for the price.

Loved it! Great staff, clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi. My kids enoyed and want to return. Live in the area and wanted to a day out because of the hot weather. Will return again!

Worked well for my visit to San Diego. Surrounding area is a bit barren and, aside from the next door resturant, no stores real close by.

The one major complaint I have is that I had a lot of trouble using the wireless wifi and even with the cable I had difficulties. However the staff helped as much as they could. I think Apple had a problem sending and receiving emails as I found out after my visit so the problem may not have been the Hotel's fault.

Excellent hotel service from Ms. Robin front desk clerk. She mentioned all amenities of the hotel in a courteous, & friendly manners. Hotel room is super clean, housekeeper is friendly. Hotel wall insulation is not too good, I could hear the sound of bathroom shower next door. Also I could hear footsteps from the ceiling on the 4th floor (maybe the guest up stair have a pet elephant).
