Good hotel in a good place. Lots of places to eat and drink within a short walk. Also a nice walk by the shore nearby.

Great hotel, however there is no site for onsite parking. You have to park at an adjacent parking garage with an extra fee. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were very nice. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town, but worth the stay.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower drain was slow. Parking locally was difficult.

We had a very nice room with a great kitchen. The hotel pool and whirlpool were really nice. This hotel is not in the middle of the main shopping/dining area. It would be an easy walk in the summer, but a bit too long and cold in early spring. I would definitely skip the water view - it is not at all scenic.

My Wife and I loved the size of the room and the cleanliness of it. Two issues though, one the heating system was so load, it kept me awake. The other issue was the bread spread / comforter was very, very thin.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very well maintained. My 3 year old enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately we had an incident outside the hotel. We found a parking spot the first night right in front of the entrance to the hotel and when we returned to our car the next morning the whole driver's side of the car was keyed. We reported the incident to the hotel but unfortunately there was nothing they could do because it was a public street. I would recommend parking in the garage next door to the hotel.

Unwilling to upgrade or occommodate, disinterested, rediculous rules. Don't stay here

for what they charge, room service would be nice. Maid kicked us out of our room to clean cause her shift was ending.... seriously???? Had to pay for parking also, huge thumbs down for that Breakfast buffet was awesome tho, props for that, otherwise, for that kind of money, I'd rather stay in the heart of Portland

Overall great place but bring your own pillow! I can usually sleep on anything but those pillows are so big your neck hurts. No movie channel either? whats up with that? stuck watching whatever was on.

Great place near the waterfront. pool was not working not working we were told because someone dropped shampoo in.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick overnight break during our recent Christmas visit to Maine, We loved our studio room and the general amenities of the inn. Even though there were many families staying due to the Christmas break, our room was still quiet. There was a snow storm overnight so the food delivery truck was late to show so the morning buffet was limited to those who showed close to the cut off. While not in the heart of the Old Port, the location is fine and easy to walk to several dining options. We would consider for another stay.

Although the location and the condition of the hotel is adequate, the overall quality of hotel service is very poor. The quality of service was so bad that the front desk officers were not trained enough to process check ins and check out properly, with lack of understanding of guests. While the room service workers were very kind and generous, the main officers at the front desks were very irresponsible about what the guest has requested.

Good location, convenient to old downtown, nice furnishings, great breakfast, nice little bar, overall very pleased

We were happy to learn that it was a suite even though we were only staying one night. Having the fridge and microwave actually came in handy! We had a great stay and would definitely stay at a Residence Inn again!

This hotel was awesome. It had some bad reviews and I don't know what those people were talking about. The rooms were huge and extremely clean... They had Paul Mitchell products for you to use. It had free breakfast everyday and free dinner several nights and beverages available all day long. I was extremely impressed.

Great location & easy to walk everywhere. Awesome staff; helpful & friendly.

Everything worked as expected. The bed was clean and comfortable, which was the most important factor for us. Surrounding area was quiet. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning system worked quietly. Breakfast was free but limited choices. We arrived at 7:00 PM, tired and didn't want to go out for dinner. The hotel hosted an evening social with enough snacks that we skipped dinner. Found street metered parking (free after 6:00 PM) around the corner, so the hotel refunded $12 because we did not use the parking lot.

We typically stay at the Hilton but it was booked. We stayed here and it was to our benefit. Our room was bigger, breakfast was great with enough variety to please my whole party. We were still in walking distance from the Old Port. We will definitely stay again!

It was a nice hotel but the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. It was safe but we were farther away from the shops and restaurants than I thought we would be.

Helpful, welcoming staff; very accommodating with our toddler; great breakfast.

The room was good and clean. Staff was nice. However, the hotel's view of the bay is overlooking what appears to be an industrial area. Neighborhood is safe and walking distance to the main cafe areas. The free breakfast strictly closed at 9:30 am which everyone was miffed at. Hello - tourists get up late. So there was a lot of rushing to get food that was just plain terrible. The waffle mix they use is laughable. The the sausage was shockingly bad. We had a cargo box on the top of our SUV so had to park it outside in the city lot only one block away. Weird requirement was that I had to take a take new tag to put on my mirror every morning. This was odd because there was no color difference. Why not just put the date of expiration on the day that I was departing as opposed to go through that motion in the morning. Bureaucratic synapse elapse.

Room was large and the kitchenette was very nice. Room was very quiet. Nice walk to the Old Port. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here for one night on our way to another location in Maine. The hotel was GREAT! Clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Strongly enforced quiet hours - so you're sure to get a great night's sleep there! And the staff was fantastic. The girl working the front desk when we checked in was a huge help! She made sure we were able to get something good to eat - even though it was late when we checked in. Would definitely stay here again!!
