Pai Vista - מייסור

The location of this hotel is good. The rooms are clean spacious and quite neat for the price. But the service is really bad. The hospitality staff is strictly okay. We had to wait for a really long time at both of their restaurants for getting served. Food quality is strictly okay, nothing to write home about.

The hotel is located near the busy suburban bus stand and hence you see all that is associated with bus stand environment - rickshaws, touts, crowded eateries... .... There are better located hotels in the town.The tariffs are not a good value for money. The 'Suite' in particular is a misnomer ! All the 'suites' are located in the middle wing of the hotel with virtually no windows for sunlight and have no outside view whatsoever ! In comparison, the luxury and comfort rooms at least have a window facing outside. So do not be misled by 'Suite". The service is acceptable. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is its F&B - the restaurants are different in looks/themes, the food is good. But you can come to these restaurants even while staying elsewhere. Overall a disappointment for the amount of money spent.

Spacious rooms with poor latch on bathroom door. Breakfast dining was poor as was the quality of the serving staff in the dining area.

I would rate my experience as excellent. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. Frontdesk persons are always cheerful

We liked the place generally, and the staff was especially helpful. Downtown Mysore is just not a great tourist locale, but if you are traveling around the area, the Pai Vista is a very nice place to use as a base from which to travel. The Jungle restaurant presents a very fine breakfast buffet and for dinner it is also very fine. We would defintely return there given the opportunity.

It was a very pleasant stay.The rooms and the hotel service was very good.The location is very central and all city landmarks are located nearby. Its a thumbs up from my side.

good value and spotless rooms in a great location. walking distance to palace and bus station. good food in restaurant also. couldn't find any faults with this hotel.

I didn't know what to expect from an hotel in India, as this was my first trip here. I was delightfully surprised at the quality of the hotel especially for the price. It was comparable to a room in the States for which one would pay a much higher rate. The quality of the property prompted me to look for another Pai Hotel in Bangalore. Unfortunately, not all the groups properties are up to the same standard as the Pai Vista in Mysore. I am quite finicky about cleanliness and proper property maintenance. Pai Vista Mysore gets my approval.

The hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the main bus terminal and the entrance is set back from the street so that one leaves the rickshaw touts, etc behind. Clean and comfortable room had a view of the Chamundi hills, bathroom had lovely thick towels, hotel has two restaurants, very good staff. We walked a lot in the neighbourhood and also took rickshaws which were always available on the street. We used the tour desk to hire a car to take us to Bangalore airport and that went smoothly.

Our stay at Pai Vista, Mysore was more than comfortable. It was a beautiful experience. Positives being online booking of rooms, tasty variety in breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Courteous staff and helpful doorman. However, the negatives were the small room and the small bed. The bed has to be wider if not longer. One could not turn around without the danger of falling down. And yes, an indian guest requires a bucket in the bathroom however modern one is.

The hotel has a lovely rooftop swimmingpool. Very, very clean and good. The restaurants are strange. One is called the Jungle. Lots og plastic trees and plastic birds, and plastic snaked etc. The worst is that all waiters are dressed as soldiers with gun holsters and helmets. Weird. And, very, very dark- you could hardly see the food. Another restaurant was called The Cave. Here it was even darker and weirder. Food was excellent.

The hotel is one of the main hotels in town, and is located . Th staff are good and the service is generally good as well. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The pool is great to retreat to after a day out and about. The restaurant is good, nothing great when it comes to food but there is plenty of it.

Staff was helpful. Nice spacious rooms. We needed an extra bed - it was quite comfortable. Hotel has a nice "Jungle" restaurant. Provides a nice complimentary breakfast buffet. Location was in the heart of the city, so convenient. Stay was comfortable. No big issues.

Great location, ambience and very helpful staff. The cuisine is excellent with great setting.

Overall staff attitude much to be desired, with the exception of 2 short, stout men at the reception. They were the only ones who had a smile on their faces. Room was basic and housekeeping substandard. Both theme restaurants need a good clean-up. Hygiene sorely lacking and furniture tops were sticky. They did not know difference between butter and magarine! Would be good to just turn these into regular restaurants which would make it easier for cleaning. Staff very curt and not at all accommodating. The spa smelt and is a sure turn-off. Luckily it was just a 2nite stay, otherwise would have checked out the first day.

We had a lovely stay at Pai Vista Hotel. Everything was clean, well kept and reasonably priced. The food was good, and we loved the jungle-themed restaurant. The hotel serves alcohol as well, and we really enjoyed having our steak with a bottle of wine! For those interested in jewelry and handicrafts, there are some shops on the ground floor, and if you run out of money, no worries! There is an ATM just outside the hotel. From the train station to the hotel we paid Rs. 16/-, from the hotel to the Mysore Palace, we paid Rs. 20/- and for a tour of the city, we paid Rs. 50/-. There is a nice Ayurvedic Spa on the top floor, and a small rooftop pool for cooling off. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and at our next visit to Mysore, we will stay there again.

Das Pai Vista liegt mitten in der Stadt Mysore, gegenüber dem Busbahnhof. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und modern eingerichtet. Freundlicher Service und zwei gute Restaurants gehören zu den weiteren Pluspunkten dieses Hotels. Wir waren rundum zuufrieden.
