Family of 4, we stayed 5 nights. The double bedroom was located on the ground floor, very quiet, but the windows were sealed, which meant that air conditioning was on despite comfortable outside temperature. Beware that the more you stay less frequent is the cleaning service (in our case none during our visit)

The hotel was excellent, just of Kurfurstendamm in a quiet location. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area and easy access to the transport network. The little kitchen area was very handy. Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Would certainly recommend it.

This hotel was easy to drive to and the parking right underground was perfect. However, when we went to check in, Conrad the front desk man was quite condescending and a little rude when checking us in. Not very friendly, and not a warm feeling at this hotel. Everything was pretty cold and detached. The location was ok. If this is your first time visiting Berlin and you want to see the sights, I would recommend something closer to the Mitte. To get to main tourist spots it was a 20 min bus ride/ 3 layover tram ride from this place... after walking for another 10-15min to a centralized station. The bed was basically a fold down wall bed with 2 tiny couch pillows for bed pillows. The bathroom was huge though, which was nice. Not a bad place to rest your head. Just wish the staff and overall hotel ambiance was warmer and friendlier. PLUS, our stay was made worse when we went to get our car and there was a huge scratch on the door and no one in the hotel to help with the situation. Car garage parking was too tight.

We loved this hotel! Friendly staff, close to the subway stations, shopping, grocery store a block away, can't beat it. We found the subway maps to be very confusing (and we live in Chicago) and the hotel had an easy to ready map in the main area, this is how we figured out which U lines to take. Would definitely stay here again!

We were really impressed with our studio apartment. The bed was very comfy for a sofa bed. The kitchen was ideal for our needs and the bathroom new and stylish. A real treasure of a find and a great location close to lots of eateries.

Room was great. Particularly liked the kitchen area. Would recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in Berlin as you can reduce eating costs significantly!! Only downside was no wireless internet in the rom but it was available in reception area where very modern comfortable pods were positioned. Location was ok - short walk to the tube and main shopping area of Berlin, but I do prefer the east. Surrounding area was very safe as is Berlin as a city. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The Adagio apartments represented great value for money for our family of three for 4 nights. They were conveniently located 7 mins from the Metro and 3 mins. from nearby supermarkets for buying provisions. The apartment was spacious, clean with plenty of equipment in the kitchen. An added bonus was the Fitness room on the ground floor and free use of the internet in the public lounge. The apartments are tucked down the side of another hotel so there is no passing road noise. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to do so.

Don't expect much here folks - I travel for a living and thus know hotels! The main issue is that the beds are little more than camp beds, rock hard and the type that fold up into the wall. It feels more like an upscale hostel than hotel. The staff were okay, not particularly helpful. To be honest there are better hotels for the money - for example, it's large but we have had superb customer service and fabulous rooms at the park hotel at Alexanderplatz...and super comfortable beds - which is what you want?

We really liked the location of the Adagio. It is within walking distance to the Kurfurstendamm, close to the train, food markets and good restaurants that aren't tourist traps. The front desk staff were all very nice, especially Felix. He was very helpful in helping us research different activities and always had a smile for us. He was probably the best front desk person we encountered during our two-week European holiday.The breakfast is quite expensive, especially for the limited amount of food they offer. Two food markets are close by so we were able to buy food for breakfast in our room. The interiors are well-appointed, but unfortunately the refrigerator smelled like fish and toilet and shower areas smelled bad but nothing that a little room fragrance couldn't take away. There is a really nice common area with good WIFI where you can sit and relax, chat with friends, etc. They have an excellent wall map that points out key locations in Berlin and the best transportation system to use to get to where you want to go. We would stay here again.

Very attentive staff - even gave me a card and a bottle of wine when I inadvertently revealed that it was my birthday!

The cleanliness of the room in my opinion was not up to scratch, we ran out of toilet paper and dishwashing tablets and had to ask at reception for these things, the room was also not ready when we arrived and the beds were made for the kids the evening we checked in, the room we were allocated also required renovation work as the walls were scuffed and covered in black markings . ' Overall the hotel was comfortable and well located,close to the main shopping streets and tour buses into the City

The hotel is very nice, the room was great. The location is not THAT close to the Kudamm but also not so bad. The only issue was that you have to pay in order for them to clean the room. Other than that... GREAT!

I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights in September 2012 and was pleased with it. The room was a reasonable size as it was a studio, it has air con, a small kitchen, an iron etc. The hotel is quiet. The location is fine -the Ku'damm is a block to the North. The receptionists are helpful. Savigny Platz with its buzzy restaurants and S bahn stop is not far. There's a big diner on a square just to the South of the hotel if you want simple fare. There is a lounge in the hotel, but I didn't use it, as I was out most of the time.

We selected this hotel because we had stayed in the sister hotel in Vienna and we were not in any way disappointed. In terms of value these hotels are outstanding, making ingenious use of space to provide room amenities that are often lacking in more expensive accommodation. Reception and breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful. There are more places to eat within a quarter mile radius than it was possible to count.

The room was excellent, large enough to be comfortable and had a full kitchen! Which saved us soooo much money! The bed is very hard though and the pillows are wayyy too fluffy. Besides that I would highly recommend! In a safe neighborhood close to transportation

Adagio was located in a convenient part of the city near the zoo and Tiergarten. Also, there was a grocery store across the street from the hotel, and they rent bikes by the day. We were able to see the whole city on two wheels and come home to cook dinner. Definitely a plus for those who are health conscious or on a budget. The hotel also provides laundry facilities, though they take a really long time to complete a cycle. The front desk was always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The room was great with a fully equipped kitchen. Clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is very close to Kurfürstendamm and the Uhlandstraße U-bahn-station. Very happy with the stay and would definitely come back whenever we visit Berlin again!

We had a good stay. Coming from Asia, we had some food preferences like rice and viands. While bread and sandwiches tastes good, pizzas and pastas delicious yet after some time (we toured Europe for 25 days), we longed for for native food. The hotel (apartel) provided us with a fully furnished kitchen complete with classy dinnerwares. That was good, very good indeed ! And groceries a few blocks away - perfect !

The room was great. It's completely furnished with everything you need to prepare your own breakfast/ dinner, so you won't have to buy anything else than food. The supermarket is 100m far. The closest bus station is about 300m and the metro station about 600m. Great connections to the the main Berlin sights. Very nice and friendly staff, very clean room. The only bad thing was the matress, it was a bit hard for me but If you have problems with your back it's just perfect (according to my boyfriend). It was absolutley the best hotel I've found in a very long time and I'll stay there also the next time I'm going to Berlin!

These apartments are nicely located just of Kurfurstendamm in a quiet street (we didn´t experience any noise from other guests or street, a weekend). Close to shopping area and restaurants and just a few minutes walk to the U-bahn stop Uhlandstrasse. There is a good grocery store just across the street from the hotel. The apartment was clean and modern. We had a one bedroom apartment (and a double sofa bed in the living room). The kitchen was very small, but very well equipped; Frigde, micro wave, dish washer and cooking possibilites (no oven). Nice bathroom, good shower and warm water. The apartment had a lot of closets for storage which is good if you´re staying for more than just a few days. The apartment isn´t cleaned every day. Only once a week I think, but you can pay extra to get this done. I had no problem with that as I only stayed for a few days. The staff was very helpful and nice. All in all, I only had positive experiences with this hotel.

This is a great hotel with mini apartments instead of normal hotel rooms. There is a fridge, freezer, kettle, crockery etc, so you can make yourself a cup of tea, or a full meal if you so wish. The location is really convenient; there is a U-bahn station and an S-bahn stop a five minute walk away which means it's easy to get around the city. There are a couple of small supermarkets nearby, as well as lots of coffee shops and restaurants, meaning it's not difficult to find something to eat or drink without having to travel miles. Only down sides to this hotel is that it doesn't have wi-fi, and we could have done with another pillow each.

- noisy and ugly works close to some of the rooms. - no phone in the rooms means long trips if you need something. - showers cause a lot of water to spill on the floor

This is a really useful apartment hotel, the well stocked kitchen and location is great. Very easy to navigate around from this location and the shopping street near is great. The only criticism is that there is no wifi in the room. It would have got 5 if it had.

Great apart-hotel. Room surprisingly large with a useful kitchen and a lovely bathroom. Staff very polite and happy to help. Good location-only 5 mins walk to U-bahn station and main shopping street even less than that.

Not a bad little apartment, has everything you need. We didnt bother with the breakfast as we just bought cereal and things, there is a fridge and little kitchenette in the room. The room was really modern and clean. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the S Bahn and about 5-10min to the U bahn. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Not as busy as Alexander platz or Freidrichstrasse. The receptionists were a mixed bag, most were lovely and really helpful, one was a bit surly. She looked confused when we arrived with our suitcase and asked to check in, but that certainly didn't ruin our week.

This hotel was hard to find i assumed it would be on the main road but after walking down the wrong street where they had a sign pointing to we walked around in circles until we found it actually the hotel was hidden behind another and not clearly sign posted. The hotel inside is lovely and modern and staff were friendly. We were told no maid service was available until we checked out which we were staying 5 nights with no clean sheets or bath towels and if you wanted to wash and dry them yourself it was 6euro. The bed was fine but pillows awful and i do suggest buying or taking your own. Also this hotel is a little out the way of things there is a u-bahn near but to get round the city you need to walk to the zoo station which is a good 15min walk. Last year we stayed closer to zoo station and it was much more easier going on us so for that reason we maybe wouldn't stay here again but its a great little find.

What I loved about this aparthotel was the extremely modern feel to it and the wonderful use of space in the room to accommodate everything. It was like staying in one of those Ikea showhouses. Lovely walnut wooden floors and a nice kitchenette with all cooking utensils and fridge and microwave. Very comfy bed, but could use bigger pillows. If there is a negative, its that no tea, coffee or milk supplies in the room, something which is standard in most hotels.

The hotel has a perfect location near Kurfürstendamm and both underground station and buses. The apartment has all facilities needed for a comfortable stay for a family. Staff is friendly. Comfortable beds and very quiet surroundings. Only negative thing is overprized breakfast. There is a grocery shop only 100 m from the hotel, buy food for breakfast there instead. I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very satisfactory rooms with small but very handy mini kitchen - just perfect for our needs. We were quickly moved to another room when building work next door became too noisy early in the morning - with no hassle and even a bottle of wine to say sorry - to be honest its difficult to avoid building work in Berlin anyway. Very reasonable rates, the location is good - not too busy, the nearest U-bahn station is experiencing some delays as the line is under development ( August 2011) but still handy and the nearest S-bahn isnt too much further.

me and my girlfriend stayed there for 1 week and we thought it was great value for money. Without specifying the exact rates we paid it was one of the lowest on hotel.com when we booked. The room looked exactly like the photos on the internet and was very clean. The only issues we really had was that the bed was not that comfortable. One woman at front desk was quite rude, but all the other staff were very nice. There was also a little noise from outside as there was some construction going on. No wifi in the rooms, but there is free wifi in the reception/downstairs. Best parts was our room had a small kitchen with all utilities. clean, reasonable size, rooms feels very new and modern. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel if the price falls within the first page of hotels.com

This is a great apartment hotel. It is quite luxurious for its price, has all the amenities you could want, the decor is modern but not stark, everything works, and it is spotlessly clean. The location is a 5-8 minute walk from an U-Bahn station, there is a pretty good grocery store 100 meters away, and the neighborhood is good. Our unit had a Murphy bed. I view that as a plus, giving more space in a smallish room. I could nitpick about a few small things, of course, but overall this is a great value - I would recommend it in an instant.

Excellent hotel. Spotless clean, modern and convenient for local transport to all the sites. Good restaurants within walking distance.

The position of this hotel near the K'damm is ideal as there are many shops and restaurants nearby, and the Savignyplatz SBahn is only 10 minutes walk away. There is a supermarket half a block away to stock the small kitchen, and the hotel even has its own trolleys you can take if you plan on a big shop. The front desk staff were also extremely helpful with a number of requests I made.

I love the hotel, it's new has free internet service, kitchen and all facilities was great. Service was all good. I was kind of not happy when the hotel asked me for a voucher of payment. They told us if we didn't have this we had to face rack rate which was not cool considering they had our records so not sure why they wanted printed proof. Besides this there was no service absolutely whatsoever. You need to use same towel throughout your stay etc. I liked the hotel even though it's about 10minutes walk to station I just thought service could have been better.
