excellent, would recommend to anyone. they have complimentary snacks and drinks in the evening and a very good breakfast in the morning including hot items which you do not get at most hotels. very clean and comfortable.

We Loved it. This was the 2nd or third time we have stayed at this Hotel. Everything, but Bronners, is within walking distance of the hotel.

We have stayed here before on a "girls weekend". The hotel is close to the cute shops in Frankenmuth and, even better, close to the chicken dinners at Zehenders. We will stay here again next year. The staff are very nice and accommodating.

Our stay was enjoyable, and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay there again

Your hotel was quiet,clean, and within walking distance of everything downtown Frankenmuth!! The breakfast buffet was beyond what we expected, and your cook/chef was very nice!! The free drinks at Happy Hour weren't bad either!! :)

Have stayed here whenever I'm in Frankenmuth & would recomend to anyone!

It was a good location for the purpose of our trip. i was disappointed that we didn't have a view of the river.

We would stay again. Its a very nice hotel and very friendly staff. But would like a suite facing the river, due to a lot of noise from passing trucks, day and night time. We told them on arrival that the fridge didn't work, and they told us that it did. But in reality it didn't. Plus the fan in the bathroom didn't work.

Nothing fancy, but nicer than many more expensive hotels

our stay was great. the only negative contact is that it is very noisy if you are staying on the street side. we were not able to take advantage of our balcony due to the noise. it is too bad that the town does not have a bypass for the tractor trailers roaring down the main street. we will definitely stay here again only we will request the river side.

I'd recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. It was clean, offered very nice amenities, it was a great value, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Future trips to Frankemuth will be spent at the same hotel.

Only thing I thought was odd was that the bathroom did not have a fan. Very steamy after showering. Loved the balcony and river view!!

we were really surprised and happy with the hotel. Staff extremely friendly. nice breakfast and private parking lot. Would stay there again next time.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel was nice, clean and conviently located on the main street of the town within walking distance of most of the towns' attractions.

My husband I stayed at the Marv Herzog hotel recently, just to give a local place a try. What a pleasant surprise! It is a charming place, recently renovated and quite attractive. The smell of freshly popped popcorn greeted us when we arrived, the free breakfast and happy hour cocktails were very good, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we will be back when we return to Frankenmuth.

Continental breakfast was better than other hotels by far. They have a make-your-own waffle station!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marv Herzog Hotel. It was cozy, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast and happy hour were included in the price, and we enjoyed sitting in the leather sofas reading by the fireplace. Our room opened onto a small balcony that overlooked the river. We were treated to a beautiful sunrise and the sight of ducks in the river. This is a great place to stay!

Exceeded my expectations. Friendly, courteous staff. Drinks and snack before dinner, and hot / cold breakfast were welcome. Also, it was interesting to see the exhibits and to learn a little about Marv himself -- he was quite an accomplished fellow.

I planned a "Girls Getaway" for me and some of my best friends. I had looked at a lot of different hotels but finally settled on Marv Herzog. The choice was PERFECT! The staff was friendly, the rooms very clean with a mircowave, fridge and a coffee maker. You also get a full breakfast and tickects for 2 free drinks (per person) upon arrival. We were close to all of the downtown shops too! We are going away next year for our annual getaway and we will for sure be staying there!

Great location, right on the main street of Frankenmuth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Free drinks and snacks during Happy Hour were a welcome addition to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

A wonderful stay. My only criticism is that the breakfast could use some improvement. Other than that it was quiet, clean and friendly.

Hotel was very nice, great location. Breakfast was good. The free drinks with snacks was nice...got to chat with other guests. Should have a better beer and the snacks are just chips and dip but still a nice way to start your evening. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean. Most everything in walking distance.

My husband and I recently stayed at the hotel and we both were very pleased. I would recommend getting a balcony room with a view of the river as we did (the other side of the hotel is on the west side facing the busy road). We had gratis snacks and 2 glasses of wine in the evening. Since we were right downtown, we walked through some of the shops and went to dinner. The room was very spacious and had a great 2 person balcony so we could watch the river boats at sunset. There was also a great patio below us with comfortable chairs and tables. The room was very clean, neat and most importantly - quiet. Breakfast buffet was also included in the price. You could fix your own waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. Awesome.

The Marv Herzog hotel is a very good location for those visiting Frankenmuth or nearby shopping mall at Birch Run. The staff checked us in quickly and we were very pleased that our room was ready early. It was modern, comfortable and well appointed, in fact only downside was that our room was on the road side of the hotel and there was traffic noise, but that is not the hotel's fault- just the popularity of the area. There was free wine/beer and nibbles in the evening and the hot breakfast was excellent. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We recently stayed one night in this hotel which we had stayed in last summer as well. Our stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good but not extensive. We like the under the hotel covered parking especially because it was about 38 degrees the day we were there. It is a close walk to many of the sights although you need to drive it you want to go to Bronner's which is a must see in Frankenmuth!

the room was clean, sound proof with an exceptional view and lovely staff. The atmophere of small-town friendliness was successfully promoted by afternoon drinks - guests mingled, creating a relaxed "homey" feeling, Breadfast was simple - could use some more healthy choices. We would stay here again.

The room was large and came complete with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable; bathroom was large and spotless. The bonus evening drinks and snacks and tasty breakfast made this a perfect place to stay in Frankenmuth. I highly recommend it and would certainly stay there again.

Four of us stayed at this hotel and none of us had any complaints. It is lovely and the staff were very friendly and willing to help with any little detail. If we go back to Frankenmuth, we will definitely stay there again. Hopefully the weather will be better then as the hotel backs onto the Cass River and the balconies and sundeck would be a great place to sit.

This was the first visit to Marv Hertog Hotel and it was truly an exceptional deal. Every person we dealt with was very helpful and courteous. Our room had a great view of the Riverside and we hope to take full advantage when the weather is nice to enjoy the balcony from our room. We would definitely recommend Marv Hertog Hotel to anyone who is visiting the Frankkenmuth and Birch Run area.
