Sky Ranch Lodge - סדונה

We arrived in time to watch the sunset. The hotel's viewing area was closed for a wedding which didn't matter because we have an incredible view from our room. Room was just okay, nothing special. The location was the best part of this hotel. Free WiFi and parking also a plus!

Clean rooms, and nice views. Yeah it's a little dated but it's still a great value.

Once again we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and the room is perfect for our needs.

We have stayed at Sky Ranch atleast 3 times before and been in all their different types of Accommodation, The Garden, The Rim and The Partial View. We love the Peace and beauty there and the amazing view of Sedona and the red rocks from Sky Ranch on top of the airport Mesa.

Best view in Town !!

awesome.. will stay here again... the gardens & new overview is just wonderful.. the grounds with all the flowers ,bird feeders & grape vines add a warm personal touch. and the outdoor lounge.. nice.. the rooms could be updated.. but it's all about being outdoors.. just love it .

Located high above the tourist town of Sedona, Sky Ranch Lodge is a sprawling compound of small motel-type southwestern style rooms that could defintely use updating. The grounds are lovely and well-kept and although they do not have their own restaurant or coffee shop, the popular Mesa Grill is steps away on the airport grounds serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (very good food but a tad expensive.) I was disappointed that one of the outdoor areas they advertise on their website to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the sandstone canyons was closed for a private event.

The service was very good. My husband has a hard time with steps we were on the second floor they caried out luage up for us. The room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The pool was really warm, and the rooms had microwaves and mini-frig. The garden was beautiful but they watered the lawns so much you really couldn't get down and play or picnic on them (we have little kids so this was kind of disappointing). Other than that it was a really great stay!

Nice Views..a top the mountain rooms a bit tired, but that's why they are affordable..Over all nice place

It was quiet, away from the hububub......and the airport only has small planes so the noise was minimal.....actually less than the street noise downtown.The grounds are immaculate and the private overlook is spectacular!.....as opposed to the public one next door.

We had a wonderfull time! Booked one of the fireplace rooms - very comfortable beds, clean rooms & bathrooms. Older/dated rooms but location and views were well worth the money spent. The baloncy's are not private which was a bit odd but would definitly stay there again. Private overlook, pool and wine bar big pluses and the Mesa Airport Grill a little expensvie but dinners and breakfast excellent w/large portions & easy walking distance.

We had a very pleasant stay at the SRL. The grounds were very nice and our room was fine. We enjoyed the jacuzzi one night and found it to be perfect. Both nights we ate at the Grill at the airport. Great food and service. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful spot, great view. Very nice gardens and big rooms. A little farther out of Sedona than I expected. But otherwise very good spot

the room was quite old and not as comfortable as I would have liked. The grounds were beautiful. Location was good. I would not stay here again.

the view was outstanding. nice pool and hottub. appreciated the small kitchen area in the room.

It was a good location and the hotel was clean and the views were amazing. The hotel is pretty run down and everything was very old; bedding, beds, etc. Our bed was even sunk in the middle. The staff was friendly but they didn't seem to understand that people were there to see the amazing sites in the area and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the area or where to begin to get the information. I was disappointed after reading all the other reviews.

We have stayed at Sky Ranch many times - perfect spot in Sedona - Now has private sunset viewing area. Very close to Sedona airport and a walk to Mesa Grill for great food. Just a good place - fireplace and balcony add to experience - a bit old school but comfortable.

Bohemian in feel with great views and very nice staff. Operated with the feeling of a family owed hotel/motel. Prices very reasonable...kids enjoyed popping in to pool/hot tub after day in town. Escape to SRL from congestion of Sedona valley. Best option is to bring your own snacks / drinks for sunrise / sunset family time...no real food or eating options. We had very pleasant time.

Loved, loved this place. The beauty of the grounds with the patios and running water and lawns,etc made us feel like we were in a park. very nice cafe next door too and a beautiful view of Sedona.

I would not stay there again because of the noise from the small planes and the helicopters.

Was nice to stay on the plateau overlooking the Beautiful sites of Sedona. Rooms were old fashioned but nice, enjoyed the pool patio, bar and overlooking views of the area.

The views from this Sky Ranch Lodge are awesome...Great price for the quality of the room...fireplace was a nice touch!

The rooms were clean and good sized. The views were amazing. The patio is perfect to watch the beautiful sunsets. I love the wine bar/patio idea as a place to relax. Just an overall amazing experience. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone no matter what your needs are. This place is perfect and personal to you!

They need new pillows, but overall a well maintained property in a beautiful setting.

The view from our room's windows was spectacular - the mountains across town - even though we had what was described as a "partial-view room." I can't imagine what the full view might have been, because what we saw wasn't anything like partial. The room was spacious, had a working fireplace by the windows looking out to the mountains, a balcony with chairs and a little table all facing the view. Service and advice at the front desk was great, too. They have a wine bar, landscaped grounds and an observation point where you can look at the stars in fairly dark skies at night and across the valley at the town anytime. Well worth the money we paid and much more. Thanks, Hotels.com.

Sky Ranch Lodge was good value. The room was clean and comfortable and there was coffee for the morning. The view is stupendous and the management was friendly and helpful. I would go back to Sky Ranch if I'm ever fortunate enough to return to beautiful Sedona.

Great view and close enough to the trail I wanted to explore.

A vey nice hotel with spectacular views

I've been here before and love to return to it. Love the location, cute retro-style motel, landscaping, rooms, bar and VIEW!!! This time I had the pleasant luck and surprise of receiving a free upgrade to one of the balcony rooms without even asking for it!! Can't beat that! Gorgeous view and sunset, etc.....

The Sky Ranch Lodge is the BEST and ONLY place I will consider staying in the Sedona area .... the rooms are large , clean , and extremely comfortable..... The grounds are beautifully landscaped , the hot tub and pool both well maintained , but the BEST part of the Lodge is the private viewing patio that overlooks the red rocks and the town of Sedona below .... they have wine and beer available if interested , and the Sedona airport is within walking distance with a restaurant there as well . LOVE THIS PLACE !

We really enjoyed staying here - the people were so nice and you couldn't pick a better place to stay on top of a mountain with gorgeous views.

We loved the hotel-the location was amazing and sunset was so wonderfully special with the most spectacular views. Can't say enough good things about it :-) HIGHLY recommend!

We found this hotel to be a very nice surprise. We were only there for one night, but this place would be fine for a week (or more) visit. Very large, clean room with a fridge, comfortable bed and nice balcony. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. We were there in February so didn't use the grounds, but they looked very nice and I'm sure they would be lovely in the warmer weather. The only caveat is that it is up the mountain a ways from town and it is a narrow road up. However, the view is amazing.

This nhotel was one of the highlights of our vacation. Lucky to find it. We had a rim view room with view of Thunder mountain - gorgeous to watch the sun set from high above the valley. If rooms are available grab them!

Great place. Nice views. Wifi was excellent. Can get to hiking trail w/o car. But if you are a light sleeper get some earplugs. The walls are paper thin and if you are on the lower level and there are people above you better hope they aren't early risers.
