QUAIL HOLLOW ONE - סונורה

When you first arrive it's a little strange because some of the units are obviously full-time residents and others are "hotel" units. But once we settled in we were very happy. It was comfortable and clean and spacious with a kitchen and even a little back deck off the kitchen. Plus a nice little pool we could use. Other than that we didn't need anything else.

This is a apartment. Not a hotel. But very clean. carpet and bedding was new. But the location is poor if you want access Yosemite NP. But you get what you paid. if you spent 200dollars more, you may get a closer one. The staff was nice. Again! this is a apartment, so, if you arrive late, you have to call them, someone will come to office and get you a Key to your room. I don't know what will happened if you don't have the cell phone or you come in very late. I arrived there around 8:40PM, the office been closed and I have to call the number on the door for check in. So, get cell phone ready if you like check in after hour. check out was easy, just left the key in your room and all set. Get a GPS or it is not easy to find after dark.

This is not a hotel. it is a Townhouse located in a very family neighborhood. We arrived to a closed office with a cell number to call for check in. 45 minutes later and two phone calls to Hotels.com, we finally got into an apartment. It was clean and comfortable but stressful not knowing if it was going to happen. Book this place if you are willing to wait an hour or so....not good in my book. We had been hiking for a week and wanted a shower and bed.

great place to stay like a small house, good price and close to the mountains

We stayed at this hotel en route to our trip to Yosemite. Even though it was quite a ways away, it was the only hotel available within the vicinity of the national park. This hotel was clean and the manager, Bruce, was very nice and helpful in terms of providing directions to other must see attractions. This hotel was equipped with many amenities you'd find in your home like a refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans and dishes so you can cook up a meal and save money. This is helpful when you have children!The place was also clean and easy enough to find. It was quiet and the people were friendly. I'd recommend this hotel to others if they are travelling in that area and need a home away from home place to stay.

My problem with the service is because when we arrived we just given a key and notheing else. We were not informed about check out time or procedures, I had to call. Also after calling about check procedures I inquired about maid service and was told we would have that but after being out of the condo and arriving back around 9pm found the rooms were serviced at all.

Convenient, no hassels, comfortable, well appointed kitchen, quiet. Good location for day trips to Yosemite, Calavaras, Columbia. Sonora is also a great town with lots of charm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

We were 3 families travelling with my parents and kids on a trip to yosemite, and the 2 bedroom units with 2 bathrooms were ideal. The fully equipped kitchen was a godsend, It was just under an hour away from the west entrance (big oak flat). It was a great trip overall.

Pros: Clean, generally quiet area away from town Kitchen has gas stove/oven and dishwasher If a loved one is staying in the regional hospital or care home these are very close to Quail Hollow Each unit has a specific parking space. Cons: Although exterior appears to be fairly recently painted, there is significant dry-rot in some of the exterior Interior/exterior is quite dated and interior cabinets are run-down Kitchen is supplied with the bare minimum of supplies Most of the residents appear to live there full-time and are not 'executives.' Witnessed one domestic dispute including lots of horn honking and one speeding muscle truck driving through the complex At the pool there was a woman who was swearing in front of young children and lots of people smoking

These are self contained units - a bit outdated, but they have everything you need including a full kitchen. They seem to be more residential than short-term accom and their booking system doesn't interact well with hotelsdotcom - they had my booking for a month later and for 3 nights instead of 2. Sonora is a great little town, and convenient for Yosemite (approx 2hr drive to get there through some lovely countryside).

great deal! very clean, nice, warm, fully furnished, great maintain, lovely area, perfect price! we enjoyed staying there so much! feel like home! love it!

We had 6 guys in the area for a river rafting trip. This was a 2 bedroom apartment for less than a single motel room would cost.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this place when we were visiting Yosemite. It's about 1 1/2 to 2 hours out of the park. There are some options that are closer by. However, the appartment we got at Sonora was very nice. It has a big living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a big bedroom and a decent bathroom. There's an awesome easychair in the livingroom. For 85 dollars (+about 15 $ fees) I think that was good value.

My family stayed in this apartment complex and were very happy with it. It was like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody staying in the area and would definitely go back myself!

This is an older, probably low rent apartment complex. Our first room was next to a large, loud family who were up all hours of the night, working on cars and noisy children until 12:30 am. They live there so there is no recourse. We requested a change of location for the second night and while it was quieter, I realized we will not return as guests.

It was great, the room is an apartment inter mixed with permanent residents. It was quiet and the room was a full apartment. We only stayed a night but would of gladly paid for a couple to take advantage of the amenities. We were visiting the local casino and it was a good price for what we received. We recommend it.

we arrived at night time for our stay and there weren't ANY signs telling us where to go or what to do... The girl on the phone was confusing but was nice and the bed was awful! I woke up in the morning with a kink in my back! OMG it was terrible! I am pregnant so it was even worse then worse! LOL and noisy too! bed was squeaky and the headboard was VERY wobbly! BUt I guess for what you pay for it... you are getting ALOT as it is an apartment... I just recommend you bring your own bed :-)

They left the light on for me, Ben the night manager was very nice and helpful. The information provided upon initial booking didn't volunteer it is a apartment complex. So after the initial shock I think it was kind of cool. The only thing I wished the room had was information about resturants and attractions in the area, things to do an see etc, other than that I'd stay there again

We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were staying in a one bedroom apartment! And what a beautiful area too. Far enough away from downtown, and yet close to all of the big name stores and restaurants without all of the traffic. The neighbors were very nice.

This is a corporate apartment, not a standard hotel. It is great if you want a nice place to stay for not too much money, and have a family so would like separate bedrooms. It also has a full kitchen with all the cooking utensils and supplies you'd need. It is a short drive from town -- probably not walkable - which makes it not quite as fun as being right in town. But for the money, it is an amazing value - and puts you in driving distance from many fun activities and sites.

The best experiance hands down. We had a 1 Bedroom apartment with all ameneties. Just buy ur groceries and u never have to leave ur living room. An excellent way to save money and enjoy your stay. Clean pool and workout room. My choice everytime when in Sonora.

Off the beaten path(outskirts of Sonora) but clean, quiet and very affordable. Stayed one night but would have been ideal for long weekend. Short driving distance to Yosemite and touring old gold mining towns.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Quail Hollow One. C'est une résidence de studios mis en location pour une nuit ou à la semaine (ou plus), située à une quarantaine de minutes de la sortie du Parc Yosemite. Les studios sont vraiment grands : grand salon, cuisine equipée (micro-onde, four, toaster, frigo, congélateur, lave-vaisselle), salle de bain, chambre lit double. L'appartement comporte de nombreux rangements (armoire, commode, placards...) et est très bien tenu.
